System Name: Omicron Delta
House: Omicrons
Number of Planets: 2
Number of Stations: 4
Trade Lanes: No
System Hostility Threat: Severe
System Bases
Freeport 11
Base size: Medium Sector Location: D4 Affiliation: Zoner
Base notes:This is the base most known to us in Omicron Delta. As its name suggests it is a Zoner run Freeport and are subject to Freeport laws. We request that no Cross pilot fire upon anyone nearby the freeport or directly pursue anyone right after undocking with the freeport. Freeport is vital to the operations of the Pilgrim Wing, Resto di Pilgrim, and other Crimson Cross operations in the area so we do not wish to lose docking rights to the station. There has also been several incidents with a strange AI fleet known as the Prime that seem to want the Freeport destroyed for an unknown reason.
Yaren Base
Affiliation: Corsair
Base size: Small Sector Location: E6 Base notes:It appears those damned Corsairs have established some sort of foothold in Omicron Delta. Not much is known about this base at this time other than it appears to be a small outpost. We would like Crimson Cross pilots in the area to cautiously keep tabs on the base and report any interesting events.
Dabadoru Station
Affiliation: BHG Core
Base size: Small Sector Location: B4 Base notes:As with Yaren Base there is very little we know about Dobadoru Station. However instead of the Corsairs this base is controlled by the vile Bounty Hunter Guild Core who hunt down and try the research the spirits for no other reason than profit. The close proximity to a jump hole to the system Omicron Rho might indicate that the system is of interest to the Core so exploration of said system may be dangerous. We would like Crimson Cross pilots in the area to cautiously keep tabs on the base and report any interesting events.
Temple of the Damned
Affiliation: Unknown
Base size: Very Large Sector Location: A1 Base notes:A very strange base that as far as I can tell is completely automate, very well equipped, and hostile. It is advised that all pilots wishing to investigate this strange station stay at safe distance. There also appears to be a non-hostile automated Satellite Station that I was able to dock on but was not able to discover its purpose.
Jump Hole notes: Fairly close to BHG core base Dabadoru Station. ADDITIONAL NOTE: Do not enter Jump Hole without an active cloaking field as scouting missions to Omicron Rho has uncovered that the system is heavily fortified.
Identification Friend or Foe: Neutral Known Ship Usage: Osprey Mk II, Dromedary, Kingfisher
Notes:Zoner patrols and supply convoy bringing supplies to Freeport 11. Do not engage unless engaged first as we wish to continue using the Freeport 11 for refueling and resupplying.
Spirits
Identification Friend or Foe: Ally
Notes:The spirits can be often found in this system fighting against the Heathens in the Order and others who would oppose them. If they ask for you assistance please provide it.
Identification Friend or Foe: Enemy Known Ship Usage: Barracuda, Manta, Clydesdale
Notes:They seem to be more common as you get closer to the Omicron Rho Jump Hole and Dabadora Station. They are known enemies of the Spirits, if you see them fighting the Spirits or they threaten you feel free to engage but do not go looking for a fight with them at this time. Also, remember to consider the Freepor 5K No Fire Zone.
Identification Friend or Foe: Enemy Known Ship Usage: Nephthys, Dromedary
Notes:While they do not have any outposts or stations in the system that we know of they still maintain heavy patrols throughout the system. They are known enemies of the Spirits, if you see them fighting the Spirits or they threaten you feel free to engage but do not go looking for a fight with them at this time. Also, remember to consider the Freepor 5K No Fire Zone.
Identification Friend or Foe: Enemy Known Ship Usage: Centurion, Titan
Notes:Patrols throughout the system, especially around Yaren Base. They are enemies of the Maltese Nation so freely engage any targets you wish as long as it will not violate the No Fire Zone of the Freeport.
Base size: Large Sector Location: C5 Affiliation: The Core
Base notes:Appears to be the location where most if not all of the Core's capital ship class ships are constructed or repaired. If the base and system as a whole where not so heavily guarded I would suggest considering an attack. As it stands now however the best we can do at the time is to try and keep an eye on it with the Resto di Pilgrim occasionally to determine how fast the shipyard is pumping out ships for the Core. Additional Shots:{{Battleship Under Construction or Repairs}}
Base size: Large Sector Location: C3/4 Affiliation: The Core
Base notes:A rather advanced station that appears to be able to sustain a large population. If I were to make a guess I would think the station serves as the HQ for the Cores operations. Again it is too heavily defended to even consider an assault but it might be worth it to make additional observation missions with the Resto.di.Pilgrim in order to determine more about the stations purpose and capabilities.
System Jump Holes
Omicron Zeta Jump Hole
Stable: Yes Sector Location: G3 Jump Hole notes: Defended by a flotilla of Core capital ships. Do not enter system without cloaking device.
Affiliation: The Core, Primary Disposition: Hostile Ship Class: Sabre Border Worlds Very Heavy Fighter
Notes:Unsurprisingly the Core pilot was rather hostile in attitude towards me when I encountered him outside Freeport 11. It did not come to a fight but he did threaten to attack any other Cross on sight.
Notes:I met this freelance researcher outside Freeport 11 with two Canaan Corvos as I was returning from a recon mission in Omicron Theta. He seemed pleasant enough even if he was a bit strange at times. When I answered some of his questions about the nature of the Crimson Cross he seemed to disagree with our beliefs and methods but remained cordial none the less. Additional Note: It would be a good idea for the Crimson Cross to keep tabs on him when possible as it is possible that he may be involved experimentation on the Spirits. However, try not to antagonize him unless evidence of this is uncovered.
Affiliation: Zoner, Researcher Disposition: Neutral Ship Class: "Corvo" Zoner Deep Space Explorer
Notes:One of the two Canaan Corvos I encountered along with Hans.von.Goeben outside of Freeport 11. When I inquired about the nature of the Canaan organization he told me that "The Canaan Project is a collection of Zoners, part of a research team". Like Hans.von.Goeben, the Zoner seemed to not agree with the ideals that the Cross holds dear but was courteous enough. There was one thing we could agree on at least, he seemed to share my dislike for the idiots that call themselves The Core. Additional Note: It would be a good idea for the Crimson Cross to keep tabs on any Canaan ships we encounter as it is possible that they may be involved experimentation on the Spirits. However, try not to antagonize them unless evidence of this is uncovered.
