Here goes those families and houses that have made and formed Gallia into what it is now. All honours, titles, and claims not stated here are false claims. in effect, as of 27. avril 738 A.G.S.
Nobility
Those who believe they are of noble birth be it rising, marital, or past please inform our genealogist Abbie Plantago. This includes change of rights, status, and passing. False claims are seen as a treasonous act to the people of Gallia. Those of status are also expected to do their duty to Gallia within their given titles and claims. Without house, we are nothing.
Those wishing to correct their honours, titles, and claims must inform and give the required details pertaining this change. Of houses, they are to govern their own brothers and sisters or the case of court shall be deemed needed. The current documentation of houses can be found here.
Rightful sovereign of the Kingdom of Gallia and his expanded Empire in Sirius consisting of the Tau Cluster, Barrier Rim, and the former Bretonia, also ruler of the Duches of the Ile-de-France, Auvergne, Berry, and Lyonnais Star Systems, the Compte of Planet New Paris, the Marquis of Ile-du-Palais, and the Concessions of Versailles and Fontainebleau.
Family
The DeFrance family has been the Royal Family long before the settling of Gallia. They are a dominating House, extremely wealthy with the entirety of Gallia as their resource. They have produced both excellent and lesser so leaders, although their leading position is generally acknowledged by the other houses and the citizen they protect.
Each new Roi has commanded his or her's nation to expand and make Gallia what it is. DeFrance funds the various corporations to make live better for those living under their rule. Space colonies and expansion to new systems for the growing population is one of the key goals that the DeFrance family maintains. The house also funds and maintains a military of unheard of numbers. Between the ground forces, the navy, and marines the Forces Armees Royales de Gallia is second to no other nation. The driving force and honour felt by each officer of the Armee Royale Gauloise that they fight for their Roi and the Crown makes them a true royal instrument.
Notable Members
Charles DeFrance XI, Roi of Gallia
Joseph DeFrance, Heir
Herve DeFrance, Militant of the Crown
Jean DeFrance, Duc of Orleanais
Renee DeFrance, Duchesse of Lyonnais
House Marcon
Duche of Burgundy and contained space, Compte of Nevers. Gardien of Gallia, Shield that stands guard at the gate of The Straight.
Family
The defense of Gallia being it’s main concern, the Marcon family stands strong with old traditions. The Marcon name grew as the supporting house for the Royal Police and Royal Navy when it was formed in 84 A.S..
The Marcon House grew into one of might while others might feed off of economic power. It held it's ground during the first Gallic War, sending aid and it's forces to combat the Council forces. Marcon became known as the "Gardien" house, or gatekeeper house. It dedicated some of it's power to the Police, which caused problems during the "Le Grand Nettoyage". Corruption was found within the Royal Police and the Marcon family was pointed to for causing it. A heavy blow was taken and trust was hard to regain afterwards.
With the new invasion and war going on, the Marcons have taken to defending Gallic space and rebuilding it's name as defenders of Gallia.
Notable Members
Pepin Marcon Duc of Burgundy
Mion Marcon, Heir and Chevalier
Estelle Marcon, Comptesse of Nevers
House Dupont
Compte of Nevers, Consession of Dijon, Spear of Gallia, Bringers of Conquest, Sabre de Arch.
Family
A fairly new house with much promise. The Dupont family started as a minor house to the Marcons, but quickly showed they were of worth to the Crown. They come from officers of war; named Chevaliers they cast down the enemies of Gallia. From "simple" sires, they became entrusted to govern small stakes of land. Cunningly, they have won honours and wives to spread their families power. Some call them arrogant and boastful, though they have many reasons to be so. While new to governing and politics, they show just as much might at the pen as with the sword.
Notable Members
Luc Dupont Compte of Nevers
Estelle Marcon, Comptesse of Nevers (wife of Luc)
Chloe Dupont, Dame of Dijon and Chevalier
Tasse Dupont, Chevalier of Armee Royale Gauloise
Leon Dupont, Grand Marchal of Marine Royal Gauloise
House Paoli
Vicompte of Marsielle, Consession of Saint-Etienne
Family
Although Paoli is an older house, they have had few notable domains across their history. The Space Colony of Saint-Etienne was bequeathed to them shortly after it became operational, but it wasn't until Marseille was officially settled in the early 600s AGS that the family grew to significance in the eyes of their peers. After more than one hundred years since then, Paoli is looking forward to when Provence is finally granted a Duc - from one of their own family, preferably.
In addition to supporting the tourism industry which is so vital to Marsielle, this family is also a proponent of higher education for all of its citizens. Furthermore, the family has links to the Unione Corse, who funded exploration into the system and of its planets.

Larenzu Paoli Vicompte of Marseille
Catalina Paoli, Dame of Saint-Etienne
House Valentinois
Duche of Orleanais, Compte of Orleans, Compte of Blois, Keepers of Wisdom, Scribes of Gallia.
Family
House Valentinois is a relatively young house. An offshoot of the prestigious DeFrance family, the Valentinois came to power quite recently, when the current family head, Marie Valentinois, was named Duchesse of Orleanais. The Valentinois do not possess a lineage of great warriors or tacticians; rather, they are businessmen and women, scholars, explorers, scientists, and have kept a massive library containing the knowledge of the ancient French. The Valentinois have a reputation for being slightly antisocial and focused on their own goals, but the results of their actions have greatly aided the Kingdom, earning them a place in the Monarchy.
While not actively participating in the war with Sirius, the Valentinois have devoted a large part of their economic and scientific resources towards aiding the Kingdom.
Notable Members
Marie Valentinois Duchesse of Orleanais, Comptesse of Orleans

While we understand that this might be an interesting roleplay opportunity to some, we will be restricting nobility to players from Gallic factions or people with history within Gallia. This is a very story heavy role in Gallia and we would like more veteran players who are able to give time to this filling the slots. Merci.
