SUBMITTER:Major Einar Harkonnen, Rheinland Military. RECIPIENT:Wolfgang Spielman, Philip Mauser, Jonas Krieger, my friends at the Valkyrie Freikorps. SUBJECT:My comrades.
My friends, comrades.
The time has come again that the Bundestag and the Rheinwehr bent themselves to the will of our foreign oppressors, this time the Bretonians, who are apparently loosing their war against Gauls (!) so much that they wish to escape towards Rheinland. Thus, they do everything in their power to move true patriots like me, like you, away from where they can prevent the flow of useless, sniveling immigrants and greedy bureaucrats into our Vaterland, and the corrupt, useless politicians like Siegfried Heilner, behave as slaves to the will of Bretonian war-money.
All I ever wished for was a strong, clean, patriotic nation-state, but our politicians, our military are both so far gone, that they serve foreign interests more so than the one of our own!
You, my dismissed warriors, still loyal to the Vaterland, keep up your fight for the cause of Rheinland, not bowing to either the foreigners or the red communists! You are the last, true patriots, not Heilner and his "Nationaldemokratische" friends, who are national only in their name, but follow a populist, self-centered agenda.
We are but a single battalion... The remnants of a defeated army numbering less than a thousand strong. However, I believe that each of you old warriors is equal to a thousand of their sickly soft children! We represent a force that could easily defeat an army of a million and one men! It is time for them to awake the ones who sent us screaming into oblivion, and who now lie sleeping. Let's drag them out of bed by the hair, and remind them of what we are! We will remind them of what it feels like to live in fear. We will remind them of the sound our jackboots make against their throats. We will remind them, that there are more things between Heaven and Hell than are dreamt of in their philosophy.
Allow me to join your ranks and continue my fight. We fought together once, and I wish to fight alongside you again. Unbowed, relentless, victorious.
Signed,
Major Einar Harkonnen,
True Patriot

Hey Einar...
To be honest, I'd rather expect a stinky Corsair joining our ranks than a quite high military officer, however your reputation preceded you. It's good to see your enthusiasm and will to fight for Rheinland... for the true Rheinland. We are Freikorps. We do not have any ranks, uniforms, just fighters. Let me tell you something you might dislike.
I'm Jonas Krieger. Maybe the name rings the bell, I believe we've met before. I was sitting in a green Arbeiter class fighter. You heard it right.
You have to understand this, some of us weren't always on the good side of the law. You find former criminals, smugglers among us. But their commitment to Rheinland is strong and true. Each and everyone of us has a story I'd not bore you with right now. Ask them or me if you want to hear it. I don't ask them where their mother bore them in Rheinland or who their father was, all that matters is where are they heading.
It's a hard and exhausting job to keep this group together. You join us, you won't grab your comrades throat for their past. Take some time and think it over if you find this acceptable. I don't want anything to happen what could break our cohesion.
Second, convince me you are not a spy, volunteered for leaking information to the RMHC about this "unlawful group". I'd not be surprised after the debate we had with Rheinland authorities.
I know full well who you are, I killed many of your comrades while you were flying the colors of the Angry Workers Union. I still consider the communist riff-raff my enemies and that will never change.
Apparently, we're in a situation where our cooperation is more beneficial to Rheinland than our hostility, thus, I will not kill you. It is you who turned his agenda, not I, after all. I always kept my loyalty to the Vaterland and I always will keep it. As long as we both serve the people of Rheinland, you can count on my comradeship.
I don't think me being a "spy" or not matters anything. The Rheinwehr has a full dossier on pretty much all of your members, seeing how there were several of you who served in the Rheinwehr, and if the Oberkommando wanted you dead or out of the picture, they'd have taken you all out already. I know many members of your group, also fought with them when they were back in the force, I also know that people like Spielman or Mauser still talk with some of the OKRM rather regularly.
Also, I hope you realize that I was dismissed from service by the Rheinwehr. That means that they severed the ties with a true patriot, to preserve their ties with foreign politicians, who want to undo our Vaterland. I will never again work for this miserable band of bureaucrats and I know full well that they will be the undoing of Rheinland unless we do what they should be doing.
You will see that I'm not a cloak and daggers sort of a man, I am a man of true Rheinland values: Loyalty, honesty, bravery. You have to decide whether you want to fly with a man who embodies the values of a true patriot or fight against him.

Harkonnen,
As you, I was always patriotic. It just happened I realized the danger of bureaucrats earlier.
You serve the people of Rheinland and that's good enough for me. If you say that the Oberkommando has a file on everyone of us and yet did nothing, I believe you. You'd be in the first line against us if we're found guilty.
Meet me on Planet Stuttgart, I'll take you to the rest of us.
