The Garden on Planet Malta was a large complex of buildings, housing various assortment of workers, servants, Blood Roses and others. Over the years it's come to resemble a small town with many people of different social statuses and occupations. What made it different from other cities on Malta was the focus around the central villa - from which the entire complex derived its name.
The villa itself was unique in that it looked more like a palace than a modern mansion. One of the more distinctive features of the villa was a small turret, from which the entire complex could be observed. In that turret was the Bloodrose mistresses' bedroom and sanctuary - the place where they could enjoy privacy and relax from the noises of everything around.
Angel was sitting on the turret's windowsill, watching the people below bustling around, taking care of their business. She was enjoying the last few minutes of freedom before her meeting of the day and, partially, looking for the person she would meet. After a few minutes she spotted one particular, fair-haired figure down below. She observed her for a moment, sighed and turned away from the window.
Gentle breeze waving blond hair of the kusarian women. She just left her ship on the landing pad of the Garden and now slowly walks to the villa. She looks tired and exhausted, but still keeps the posture. Jun's hairstyle is slowly recovering after induced disorder by helmet. Black short dress covering the thin holster with small full ceramic pistol.
Jun began to feel dizzy. Nothing unusual to her, she had stop for a moment a continued movement. She raised her head to take a short look at the gray skies of Malta another time, they always made her feel special. Shine would like to stop and look at them for a long time, forst to meet the sunset, then sunrise. Sure there was no time for time wasting of that kind. It is hard to concentrate now, but it is not the matter of choice.
Shine entered the mansion and was stopped by two maltese.
"Signorita, this is the guarded area"
Jun acticng like she didn't hear anything and walks forward.
"Signorita, don't provoke us to use the force"
She turns around and goes to maltese. "Well I don't maybe you will be so kind check up the list of the visitors?"
"We do not expect any visitors at the time"
"You can find me there, Jun Kirishiki, I just late... a bit. "
Guardian spending some time with his computer. "I don't know if you are still expected, you had to come yesterday. "
"This is out of your concerns. Can I finally pass? My time is quite expensive."
"You were allow to enter, but you had to pass through security procedures first. "
"You serious? What kind of procedures? I would call it absurdly, I understand I'm looking like a really dangerous kind of terrorist"
She smiles and looks in the guradian eyes.
"Typical rummage, nothing unusual. We can't just pass you as is. "
"I'm sorry, I'm afraid you guys will not touch me. You should to have at least the girl for that kind of work. I see you have the metal detector here, that could be the solution, uh?"
"Detector is not the guarantee, but... errr fine. We will check you with it. "
"Good, but horry up, guys, you killing my time."
Guard takes metal detector, irradiates the Jun.
"Seems like everything is clear, you can go if you are so horry. You already late for more than a 20 hours, I don't see the reason to so be rush. "
"Finally, hope you will let me out witout all this formalities."
Shine smiles and goes in the direction of a large staircase. She gently patted the holster and turns back.
Before the guard could answer, the main door had opened. Angel walked out, at the first glance looking welcoming and happy to see the Chrysanthemum. However, it was all completely pretended - the gestures and expressions practiced to perfection, and the only a very discerning observer could notice the fatigue and aversion in the Rose's eyes.
The area around Garden had recently been suffering from horrible heat waves and almost everyone felt the effects - from a few worker deaths to higher electricity bills from air conditioning - and contributed to Angel's bad mood. Despite that, she managed to maintain her composure - it was all for the greater good after all. Even judging by her outfit, it was obvious she was "the princess of the castle", with her white hair and matching airy dress. The only thing contrasting was a gun holster hung over her right shoulder, with the grip of the .45 Nighthawk menacingly sticking out.
"Jun!" she greeted the Chrysanthemum, then turned towards the guard. "It's okay, Dolfo, she was expected. I'm sure the reason for you being a bit late is well-founded. Anyway. Please, come on in."
After both women entered the house and came into the foyer, Angel summoned one of the maids. "Can you please find Rise and call her to us? Also, please fetch us something cold to drink, thank you." She turned back to Jun. "Shall we go to the terrace?"
Jun did not expect to hear the sound of the opening door rigth now, even less she was expected to meet the Angel at this particular momet. Excitement could be read at her face for a split second, but she managed to she returned control of herself instantly. The impression of the first look at Angel was quite different from the impression of transmissions. It could mean that negotiations maybe will go not as she expected, but some other way.
Clearly excessive interior and alternately capture of looks of guadians, maids and Angel are disturbing her already the exhausted by fatigue thinking process. But in spite of everything she have to monitor and analyze every little thing around, any of it could help or hinder in some moment.
Before the answer Jun looked around, then looked at the guards beside her. Unobtrusively looking at Angel with a tired voice she answered.
"... Terrace? Sounds good enough. It so happened that I could not come yesterday I did explained the reason on transmission, don't know if you recived it directly or indirectly through. Again, I apologize, has too much work to do. It so happened that my time does not belong to me, how ironic. "
*As Angel and Jun move through the estate, towards one of its larger Terraces, Rise Bloodrose , the head of the Bloodrose Famiglia appears. Wearing a long flowing red dress with white top and black corset, a tan leather harness can be seen running over her shoulders, as well as the handle and pommel of two intricatly designed knives. Looking to Jun, Rise gives the woman a kind smile, her attitude and demeanor reflecting the heat of the day, yet the anticipation of their meeting shining through.*
I do apologies, Ms. Jun. I should have been at the door to greet you. Angel here actually has somewhere she needs to be. Given you're arriving a day late, I will be the one tending to the issues at hand.
*Giving a weak smile to Angel, Rise escorts Jun the rest of the way through the house, stopping just at the terrace doors.*
Again, I apologize for Angels leaveing on such short notice, however, certain issue have arose elsewhere and she is needed there more than here. I do hope whatever caused your delay wasn't overly troublesome, I know your people have been dealing with quite a lot lately what with most of Kusari turning against you, both allies and enemies. AH, the drinks.
*Rise had just noticed the maid entering the large sitting room the two women were standing in, the terrace just outside. Moving to the center of the room, the young maid sits two glasses full of ice as well as a large pitcher of what appears to be lemonaid on a small table. Now holding the tray to her chest, the young girl bows before taking her leave, Rise giving her a smile before gesturing to two comfortable chairs sitting on the side and end of the sitting room table.*
I believe it will be more comfortable sitting inside rather than outside today. The weather here in the past few weeks has been unbearable.
