This part of the event was the one that did not perform too well, but in our defense it was a bit difficult to deal with an almost one year old event with an already established outcome. Now that we are free of it, we're very much looking forward to what we can do in the future.
To be honest I don't see why you have to say anything in you defense, dev/admin part was done well and really many people enjoyed this event.

Please, just speak only for yourself not for everyone. Thank you !
Perhaps next Dev move could be to introduce Sodium Chloride as the next minable commodity, this community is so full of it sometimes I can hardly traverse among these NaCl mountains.
I share Shiki's opinion, the Staff's part in these events were done well. All we need is to fix some mindsets and people will have fun with these events once again.
What people? What fun? Speak for yourself. Also if you really love chemistry that much maybe they'll add that commodity just for your own enjoyment.
People with attitude like yours have done away with the real fun we had back in 2008-2010.
TBH, I didn't notice many ganks from either side, LN most of the time used bombers and GBs, with maybe a cruiser or 2 and a dread, sometimes a carrier, but most of the time the LN caps blew up, the only thing I remember as "ganking" were maybe single caps of several in the GRN side being attacked at once by the LN.
While the GRN used a LOT of caps, about 70% of the time or so being a valor sent to utterly trash the LABCs and Overlords that were for some reason commonly used until the bomber swarms appeared.
The admins are kind of right on the last part however, it wasn't as much of a fight as the GRN spamming probably more than 5 valors to blow up that Battleship station in less than 10 minutes, and how was someone supposed to defend the station from that?

I didn't said all people, I said many. I don't know what happened today. I don't know why bombers on the Liberty side are shooting random Valors and can't even focus on one. I don't know why caps on Liberty side staying in 5-10K from each other and acting weird. Liberty also has a giant playerbase and we felt it all time before this day. I saw Libertorian side used teamspeak and had decent coordination just few days ago, so they can win if they want to.

We logged GBs and bombers only on yesterdays battle. Not a single valor.
