Battleship Dax, Tau 31 System

Bonjour,
I'm writing this message on behalf of Commandant Mounier, who is currently unavailable and in a hospital due to a recent fight with a Crayterian pilot. We all wish him a speedy recovery. Here's the report he made before he left:
I shall get straight to the point on this one. I launched from Battleship Dax to patrol around the Tau Systems as the hostiles number increased there lately. I first set course to the Tau 23 Gate, everything seemed clean until reports from New Tours Watch Station were buzzing about Crayterian ships being in the area. Interesting enough, i caught one of them docking on Holman, what's even more interesting is it happened before my eyes, and the base administration didn't seem to mind at all. I believe these IMG individuals need to learn how things work around, as they don't seem to have learned yet, and are most likely harbouring enemies of The Crown. Anyhow, i succesfully took one of them down, the other one managed to escape but not before i could damage his vessel. I remained at New Tours for small repairs, and to keep an eye on the IMG base, i shall inform you if i see more suspect movements.
Earlier today, at Commandant Delacroix's orders, I set out in my Lynx to ensure the safety of the Java perimeter. Recently, the Guild have been reporting many incursions n the region - Outcasts and the like appearing from amidst the rocks! This is very concerning - so of course, I was to ensure that such terrible people did not reappear again without suitable advance warning! After all, this is what the 27th Tau Wing is for, non?
In any case, shortly after leaving the Guillestre's docking bay, I came across a hostile contact! However, much to my curiosity, it was not an Outcast. It was, in fact, an Imperialist Kusarian. This, I must admit, piqued my interest. After all, it gets boring to be spat on by Outcasts all the time, does it not? I was curious to see what he - or she, as it turned out - might have to say.
Unfortunately, I was left more than a little disappointed. Not only was the pilot very, very rude about the Kingdom's just cause in pacifying Sirius, but she bore me quite a lot of personal hostility too. Some of the things she said - ah, it would be very unprofessional indeed to repeat them here! To think that I am just doing my job, and these people feel it necessary to subject me to such abuse! They are filled with hatred, it seems, though she did at least talk for a while. Apparently, she was content to play with her food, thinking that the Royal Navy would have relegated its weaker, less confident pilots to internal security! However, she did not count on the indomitable spirit and unquenchable conviction of Lieutenant Blanchette!
Unfortunately, I was unable to recover the pilot's pod amidst the interfering rocky debris and background radiation of the system. Perhaps, in time, she would have made a fine addition to the Foreign Legion. If this is the best the Imperialists have to offer, though, the 27th should have little to fear from them - especially since the bulk of their forces have moved on to Kusari proper, as I understand! This is my evaluation of the situation, for what it is worth, messieurs et mesdames!
For the Crown, and for the Kingdom!

Bonjour,
Today the RNS-Royal Vauquelin was moved back the Magellan system to serve on the front lines. Several liberty warships were detected moving towards the Carcassonne, and with myself commanding the Royal Vauquelin, moved to intercept. We were joined by a secondary fleet warship as well as the RNS-Tonnant of the "Les Bohemes". The libretonians made the first move and attacked us. Shortly after they began to fire upon us they ended up in flames and wreckage, the RNS-Royal Vauquelin hadn't received any major damage and was quickly moved back towards the Carcassone to defend from any further waves of larger warships. Word from the crew of the RNS-Tonnant then reached me that a bretonian bomber and a few smaller liberty vessels were moving to attack. I personally returned aboard my lynx to destroy the bomber, and we destroyed the remaining libretonians.
For the Crown, and for the Kingdom!

Bonsoir,
We had a large fight in the Agincourt system yesterday. The Bretonian forces invaded LD-14 through Edinburgh and caught us by surprise. Luckily, we organised quickly and deployed the Cougar squad. It ended with a great victory for our side. The fight was pretty tough though, with over an hour of intense fighting. However, we prevailed and got out of it with minimal losses. When they retreated we regrouped between Stokes and LD-14 after which we docked on Stokes to repair and resupply.

Bonjour,
Yesterday we were involved in a fight in Tau 44 against Council and CR forces which consisted of 2 carriers, 1 battleship and a fighter. We took out all of them except one of the carriers who managed to get away. The intriguing part about it was that we found them as they were sieging an unidentified base. The base was on a sliver of health, but managed to hold on barely. Don't know who it belongs to, but they haven't contacted us and we'll definitely pay a visit to it in the near future.

Bonjour,
Nothing unusual happened during the patrol of our wing in Leeds system. Once our pilots land on Leeds and took off the helmets we have received an order to strike at Southampton Shipyard which is in New London system as soon as possible. The first wave of our forces faced significantly superior forces of the enemy. Joined Bretonian, Colonial Remnant and "The Council" tactical group have made an attempt to repel the advance of His Majesty's Navy. Outnumbered, but brave and skilled our officers hold the ground until the second wave have arrived. As soon as numbers equaled the tide of battle immediately moved towards decisive victory of His Majesty's Navy.
La Princesse Charlotte DeFrance made a visit of this part of the front and condescended to oversee the battle in person. It seems that Her Highness was satisfied with the combat skills of our officers.

Bonsoir,
IA quick report on the Magellan skirmish today. I deployed from Planet Agincourt and headed for Magellan. As I entered it, I got a distress call about Liberty Navy and BAF pilots in the system. I met with another primary fleet pilot, Maurice Cornett, and engaged 3 of them. We killed them all in around 10 minutes. As we killed the last one, another group of 3 people showed up. At this point more people joined on our side and a fight emerged. Another victory for our side and more ships destroyed. Hellfire Legion also entered the fight at some point, but they suffered the same fate.

Bonjour,
The Royal Vauquelin has been moved in advance along with the invading forces on the front lines. So far the Royal Vauquelin has disabled several Libretonian warships with minimal damage. I myself have accumulated a kill count on my personal fighter alongside some of the secondary fleet members. So far the odds are looking in our favor, several Libretonian fighter vessels and capital vessels have been destroyed surrounding the Magellan Jumpgate in the California system. We did chase some back to a jump gate leading further into liberty, however we did not act further beyond destroying 1 Libretonian dreadnought that had attacked us as we moved near the gate. The rest were lured away before being destroyed.

Bonjour,
During my usual patrol through the taus I ran into some Colonial vessels near the Freeport, not sure why they grouped there unless they -wanted- to be seen. After they spotted me two of the three of them moved in to "destroy" me. That didn't quite work out for them, both of them ended up in pods; the third ended followed them as well. A freelancer flying a Brigand gunboat than moved in to help them for reasons beyond me. I decided to make way back to the Leeds system, finishing off my patrol.
I'm bringing wonderful news from Tau 37. Our Cruiser patrol consisting of one Obstinate, a Cougar and 2 Lynxes left from Guillestre at 1800 to do a routined Tau patrol. 30 minutes later, close to the Tau-23 jumphole in 37, we encountered a large Council and CR force consisting of another Obstinate, one bomber and 6 fighters. The odds weren't on our side, but we went in without any doubts.
Their capital vessel fell down first due to their bad coordination and our quick attack before they could organize their forces. Our Obstinate, La Rochelle, was heavily damaged and had to retreat. The rest of us, consisting of me and Marie on Lynxes and Shikizumi on the Cougar, took on 7 enemy snubcraft. Due to our superior skill we picked them off one by one. They were going down very quickly, and before we even realised it - we killed them all. None of us got destroyed in the end, even though Marie lost all the repairs and her ship was barely holding together. We all went back to Guillestre for a resupply. A great victory in the Taus for our side.
