I have taken part in the rescue mission on Leeds together with sergeant Yeva, Jimmy the Firefly pilot, and later battleship Lagia or something.
It started with them first two being at the Ring in New Berlin stocking up on ammo.
The krauts showed up while I was keeping an eye out in space, so I warned our guys to not leave the Ring until it's safe.
The kraut already saw Jimmy while docking with the Ring and got suspicious, but Jimmy hauled off a cargo full of oxygen instead.
We played it dumb, saying we were going to Freeport 1 and waited for a non existent employer approval to depart, hoping the kraut will get bored and leave.
He won't move.
While we were stuck there, I made sure to alert the Rheinland Military about Izay. They'll be keeping an eye out for her, in an ideal universe.
The kraut did move when a Liberty battle cruiser barged into the system and started engaging the BDM forces passing by, the Rheinland Military vessel went to assist in the fight.
Seeing the distraction, I instructed Yeva and Jimmy to hurry off the station and fly away with a cargo hold full of black market ammo.
We managed to escape and go via Liberty.
Speaking of which, we might have some trouble from the LPI because a cop spotted our transport.
I interrupted the lanes along the way allowing the transport to escape but Yeva had to stay behind and get threatened with a fine, so expect to hear something about it from the LPI.
Once above Leeds, we started unloading guns and loading up refugees until that damn Gaian showed up, shot Yeva pretty well, making her crash land on the surface, I kept the Gaian busy long enough for Jimmy to escape to Freeport 4.
After that, I engaged the Gaian, but being in a bomber I couldn't do much against a heavy fighter.
I made it to Freeport 4 in one piece, but my ship was so shot up I decided I won't pay for the repairs and ended up buying a new ship instead.
Once I got the new ship, I headed back on the surface of Leeds to deliver crucial materials to make Yeva's ship space-worthy.
I escorted her to Magellan where we were accompanied by warship Leglia and a Zoner Colony ship all the way to the Freeport.
After crucial repairs, we were able to continue our mission and bring an entire Serenity's hold full of refugees to New Berlin.
On our way to New Berlin, in Omega 3, I and the warship encountered something I have never seen before in my entire life time: A nomad predator.

Greetings Comrades
This is your Sergeant Yeva Blazkowicz, Reporting in on the execution of a successfull mission, here we go:
Uploading Report......
I met with our well-known [FL-ER]Col.Redfire and our new friend [FL-ER]Firefly on the orbit of the planet New Berlin so we could start our Assist in the fight against Gallia Mission!
The mission did not start off great. Right after Jimmy, the pilot of the [FL-ER]Firefly docked, the rheiland military appeared, especifically RM_GreenDragon.
This little bugger was persistent throughout our travels in Rheinland. I think he was suspicious when he saw Jimmy fast-docking in The Ring. Eventually we were able to undock when the military was distracted and we started our trip.
[FL-ER]Firefly holding the Black Market Munitions to be delivered in Leeds
Thanks to our witty Colonel and my updated Nav Map we were able to quickly travel to Liberty through a bunch of Jump Holes. We were relieved cause we were finally out ofthe rheinland military jurisdiction.
Unfortunately, as soon as we entered New York, we found more trouble: The LPI. LPI-SWAT-I.Ishikawa[U] started chasing us abruptly. Somehow it seems he knew we were hauling contraband.
The policeman couldn't catch up with Jimmy and Redfire because the good colonel kept disrupting the lanes, but he did stop me because i was in the rear of the convoy. We chatted a bit, and our chatter just made me feel sick. The governments and their laws are idiotic, and I can't stand it. He reminded me why i am a Freelancer!
He wanted me to pay a fine of 10 million credits because he suspected that "the other [FL-ER] tagged ships in the front were disrupting lanes". Pathetic.
LPI-SWAT-I.Ishikawa[U] trying to fine [FL-ER]Sgt.Yeva.B.
After a long boring chat with that officer, i intercepted the rest of the convoy in Cortez. We made our way to Manchester and finally Leeds. When we arrived to the Leeds Resistance Base we started hauling the Black Market Munitions in and bringing some Refugees out, but we were ambushed by GG-Scorpion.
Jimmy managed to escape to Magellan and safely dock at Freeport 4, but i wasn't so lucky. The Gaians intercepted me and i was forced to fight him, but the freighter i was using wasn't set-up to withstand a fight against a Heavy Fighter.
The gaian overwhelmed me and i had to crash-dock into the Leeds Resistance Base. I unable to leave due to the extensive damage my ship had suffered.
I was stranded on Leeds with nothing but my comms working. Colonel Redfire told me he had successfully escaped from the gaian and managed to dock on freeport 4 where Jimmy was hiding. After that, the good Colonel told me he was coming to rescue me. I patiently waited.
Colonel Redfire arrived at the Leeds Resistance Base with some repair tools I desperately needed to make my ship capable of exiting the atmosfere. I was able to undock from Leeds and cruise my way to the magellan jump hole. I should've suspected that i had no conditions to make a jump through a space anomaly, but i wasn't thinking too much at that time.
As soon as I entered Magellan my ship's system fried. I lost my cruise, my scanner, my shield and my Nav Map. I had nothing but the impulse engines and my comms working. I couldn't be in a worse situation, I was in open space with no one but the Colonel to watch over me.
Jimmy asked a nearby Zoner carrier to come and assist me in getting to Freeport 4 safely, but before the Zoner could reach me, [FL-ER]Warship.Ligeia emerged like a Hero in my time of need. Now i was much safer, but we were still too open. Soon enough the Zoner Carrier reached us and thanks to it's huge cover i was able to reach Freeport 4 safely and begin repairs.
[FL-ER]Sgt.Yeva.B. being escorted by Exodus, [FL-ER]Col.Redfire and [FL-ER]Warship.Ligeia
When i got to Freeport 4 i started to properly repair my ship with the help of some of the crew members in the repair lab. I undocked as soon has my ship was ready and we moved back to Leeds to finish what we started!
This time our convoy was made up of four members instead of just three, [FL-ER]Warship.Ligeia accompanied us on the rest of this mission.
We delivered the remaining Black Market Munitions and got all the Refugees we could fit out of that forsaken planet. We set our Nav Maps to New Berlin via the Omegas and started our trip back to safety. When we arrived to Omega-3 the good Colonel told us he had spotted a Nomad. After a few minutes it seemed as though the Nomad fled in fear. I guess no one, not even an alien would have the guts to challenge [FL-ER]Col.Redfire and [FL-ER]Warship.Ligeia.
Soon after, we reached New Berlin and safely transported a total of 1950 Refugees. Here are the logs: [1], [2].

Allo, Lads, Jimmy 'ere. After yesterday's exciting, yet rather dangerous run to Leeds and Back, I decided I'll take it slow. I hoped into my Firefly and went to load up some gold ore to Skye. I sold it in New Berlin, but sadly none of the bases I know in that systam had what I wanted for my route back, so I loaded a bunch of aluminium and diamonds, sold diamonds on Manhattan, filled the rest of my cargo bay with ale and went to New London, where I sold it all.
Shortly after a message came that some poor lad from IMG was attacked, so I hopped in my little Sidhe and went to him. I came too late, but I at least escorted him to his destination.
Knowing that my Light Fighter would probably be not much of a help in a fight anyway, I sold him and bought myself a Sutinga. I kept the name. I like it.
After some time of wandering around New York and getting used to my new ship, I came across a transport captain who was rather frustraded. Apparently, he was pirated four times just today, so I offered him an escort. After I assured him that I won't require payment If he get pirated again, he accepted the deal and we set out to Stuttgart. The trip went well, we run into some Hessians, but they just flew by us like a madman and left us alone.
On our way back to New York, the Captain managed to get a quick scan of some transport ship, and we didn't believe what he saw. It was full of slaves! The Captain luckilly managed to get the name of that ship. Don't know if we want and can do something about it, but i thought I mention it. When we arrived to Manhattan he paid me my reward and threw some more as a bonus.
And then I did a rather stupid mistake. Some guys with Legion IFF started fighting with Navy Battle Ship near Manhattan. The BS called for help and since they were dangerously close to the planet I tried to help so they don't put locals in danger. So much for taking it slow. I guess I should learn more about ships, cause I seriously underestimated what those Legion guys could do... or perhaps overestimated the BS... but they ripped her to pieces and then turned on me. Guess they didn't like those mines I dropped at their noses. I managed to fly 40K clicks just on thruster and impulse, evading shots and missiles and swearing more than a drunken scotsman whose bottle went dry. Serves me right, I should know better than to help Navy...
Well, I managed to stay alive and keep Sidhe more or less in one piece, so I guess it's good.

Allo, Lads, Jimmy 'ere. Another day, another report. Just to be clear I was on the mission to 'crons with Colonel. I won't be writting a report on that. Sorry. Can't.
After I... managed to collect myself a little from the mission, I decided I need something nice and peacefull to do. So I took of with Firefly, loaded uncut diamonds at Solitaire Metrolpolis, and with the escort of Sgt. Jack Burton traveled to Manhattan. Sold the diamonds, and since I was in a hurry to get to New London, I loaded Ale to sell there. Did that, and since we're still freelancers, I sentfour milion credits to the good Sarge for his escort. I then traveled to the Junker base 'cause I heard rumour there might be someone willing to erase my Firefly from corsair's "Shoot on sight" list. Sadly, he wasn't.
Some time after that I heard that some IMG guys needed an escort, jumped into Sidhe and tried to catch up with them, but sadly, they reached New Berlin before me and cut off comunications. Luckilly one other ship, Quickborn piloted by captain Daniel was willing to hire me and so I escorted him to Stuttgart for one million. There we agreed that he'll hire me and Sgt. Jack Burton as escort to Manhattan. We took of, went through Koeln system to avoid popular pirated lanes and after some cruisin' and jumpin' we got safely to our destination where the good captain paid usseven million credits, which I immediately split with Sarge. Oh and... the guys from IMG tried to hire us later, but we were already contracted by the Quickborn.
The mission within the Nomad worlds has been a success...kind of...
We got the information we came for but we paid a hefty price for it, but you will see that it is well worth the trouble.
It is a very dangerous information however, it is of out-most importance that it does not slip away to the wrong ears.
Steps must be taken to ensure our safety as a group, but also the safety of the mankind is in peril.
We must discuss the course of actions that we will take in detail, but here is the report:
I started by heading over to the Barrier Gate to prepare my ship for the Omicrons.
There, I met an Order agent named Kalh, a commander of a Osiris vessel.
The commander informed me that his group has gathered information of a large number of Nomads gathering in Liberty.
Yes, you got that right, there are actual Nomads within Liberty right now, and according to Kalh, they are in large enough numbers to convince a secret organization to send nothing less than an Osiris to investigate.
We gathered around the Exodus and just as we were about to start the mission, we were met by two ships from a group named D9.
This is where it gets weird, they claimed to be LSF, but I know LSF from my history in Liberty and they did not act like LSF at all.
Not to mention, they later engaged a Crayter vessel in Coronado for no apparent reason, however we were just exiting a jump hole when it happened so I might have missed a few details there.
As if that wasn't enough, my scanner viewed them as hostile, I am not hostile to the LSF.
A closer scan indicated that there were actually two life forms aboard each fighter, but I could not detect the second one, this might be why they showed up as hostile on my radar.
Could be some kind of scrambling mechanism to throw hostiles off guard? I was going to believe that option if I didn't meet D9 in the Nomad home system!
If this isn't proof of the Nomads infiltrating our colonies, I don't know what is.
And this is just a single division that I discovered to be working with the Nomads, if D9 is involved with the Nomads, how many are there that we are not aware of?
But we did not go all the way into the Omicrons to prove that Nomads are infiltrating us, rumors of Nomad infiltration have been in circulation since the Nomad War.
This is an actual, fully functional jump gate leading straight into the Nomad homesystem.
Why is this such an important discovery? Because there is a network of inactive trade lanes connecting the jump gate to an empty area in the Omicron Minor nebula.
This area has been cleaned of asteroids and space debris, and the trade lanes do not appear to be functional yet.
This is a clear sign of expansion, if the Nomads cleared an area within the nebula, and laid a trade lane network leading straight to it, I assume they are planning to build something there, something big.
We went through the gate, and once we exited on the other side, we found ourselves in the Nomad home system.
Looking around, I spotted a whole group of similar jump gates, so I took Jimmy with me to explore, and left the rest of our group behind to guard our exit should things go wrong.
Up until this point, we haven't encountered a single Nomad.
Like they just vanished, Jimmy said they were watching us and preparing a trap, and I must congratulate Jimmy again for his instincts. He could not be more right.
I'll get to that in a bit.
First, me and Jimmy headed to the jump gates to get scans on them, I wish I didn't.
Prepare yourselves:
My scans(//warning: adult language detected) indicate that each jump gate leads straight into one of the major colonies, except for Gallia.
My biggest fears have been confirmed, the jump gates were active as-well.
I tried to jump through one but it didn't let me, as if it knew I was not a Nomad.
If these things can lead Nomads straight into our colonies, then it means that Kalh was correct, there may very well be a large gathering of Nomads within Liberty.
Back in Omicron Minor we all had our suspicions that the large structures leading to the empty spot in the nebula were trade lanes, in preparation for an expansion.
Our suspicions were confirmed when Jimmy found actual, active, Nomad lanes within their home system.
We didn't manage to get any further within the system before the Nomads started to swarm all over us.
We found the same type of Predator that we encountered back in Omega 3.
I managed to get some scans of it's composition and closer details of it's shape before we got attacked.
As soon as the entire system started to rain down on us, I ordered a retreat.
This is where taking Exodus with us paid off.
Thanks to Sullivan we all made it back alive.
Me and Exodus were going to stay behind and provide cover fire while the rest made it out, but the Jump gate started spinning our ships instead of letting us through, effectively making us cannon fodder.
We aborted the docking sequence and took shelter aboard the Exodus.
I can't tell what exactly happened during the chaos, but we lost comms with Jack Burton and Wallace, they got hit the worst.
Finally, Exodus managed to escape through the jump gate with our guys aboard, but the Nomads pursued and Exodus got wrecked, again.
We managed to drag the fatally damaged vessel to limp back to the nearest friendly base which was Freeport 9 in Theta.
If it wasn't for Exodus' thick walls and intricate Zoner inner design, we might have never made it out.
But we got what we came for.
We are already late to take action.
This is no longer an option.
It's not a matter of if, it's only a matter of when the Nomads will strike at the colonies, and this time we may not have an Edison Trent to save us.
We must make allegiances with the Order, and if it will not be the Order, then other groups specialized in Nomad research.
The participants of this mission have more than earned their pay.
Engineer Wallace, Jack Burton, good old Jimmy, Exodus without which we might have never returned, and if I left anyone out, feel free to make yourself known.
You have all done an excellent job. I could've not asked for more.
Especially you Jimmy, considering you never saw anything remotely like this before. You handled yourself great.
And Wallace, good thinking taking that repair ship. Without your expertise, our mission would've lasted much shorter.

Oy, Lads, Jimmy 'ere.
So... I've been busy 'gain, doing bits here 'n dere, but fo' the sake of simplicity, I'll group it to few things.
First... I visited several bases, and took a list of the commodities there, mostly so our engineers can update their databases. Sadly, staff in Anglesey Abbey didn't like it, and confiscated the logs, so I have only info on Pheonix Base and Xuanming Trade Center, though I have to say that both bases were severly understocked. I found another base we can safely dock, it's Nicloas Trade Center located in O-49 near planet Grand Canaria. There was nothing to buy when I was there, but it looked more like a factory than a trading station anyways. From what I saw it was capable of manufacturing cloaks, jumpdrives and perhaps more.
Second, I realised it's about time to resuply Phoenix Station a bit, the report from that is 'ere.
The last thing I did... I prepaired and sent this. And why I did this? Well... I think we really need to find the gates that 're hidden ye know where. To try search each and every system would be like looking fer mine in the field of scrap metal. So I thought... we could try to find out where the blues appear and start there. Hope It'll work.
In addition i believe it is time to start congratulating some people for a great work.
jimmy , captain of the Firefly and Sidhe.
You have done a great work in such a short time, you are one of the most active suppliers in our contract with Phoenix Base. You have done a great job so far escorting and in the mission given by Colonel Redfire. I believe it is time you change your transponder to Corporal. Rising Sun
You were away for a while but you have come back and you have performed an incredible job like you did in the past. In case you have forgotten, i've been hearing from other pilots that you haven't been identifying yourself as a Sergeant.
Jack Burton You have showed great potencial in expanding our profits since your first week among our numbers. As you know you are already classified as a Sergeant with us. There isn't much more i can give you, however if you keep up this explendid work you may have a surprise soon or by the end of the month.

Oy, Lads, Jimmy 'ere. This is goin' to be long, so hang with me, a'ight?
First thing I'll report is a simple escort job I did. I was contacted by [*USI*]NewProvidence[E] and asked if I could provide an escort, which I gladly accepted. I moved to to Alberta, met up with him and one other escort from his corporation and we wen't on the way. His partner had to leave after a while so for about 1/3 of tohe route I escrted im alone, and Sgt.Jack Burton joined us in New York, because there were some Rogues around and we didn't want to take chances. Captain of the Providence piad some nice money. Looks like we are giving a good impression with our escort services.
And now, for the long part. Bear with me, lads, there will be stuff hard to believe... hell, even I don't 'now if I believe it but... here it goes.
After my request to freelancers, I received a message from a rather... intriguing Captain. I won't tell ya his name, at least not yet anyways, cause his position isn't easy and he wanted to remain incognito... which I can undestand given the nature of the topic we were discussing. He claimed, he talked to nomads - we know it can be done - and I'll upload the relevant parts of my logs here now.
Code:
[17.08.2016 16:05:24] [FL-ER]Sidhe: I know ye said ye're talkin to em...
[17.08.2016 16:05:55] [FL-ER]Sidhe: I'd like to know what ye got to know 'bout them... if you don't mind...
[17.08.2016 16:06:37] Captain: Well, that's a lot to tell. You maybe want to get yourself a drink and take a comfy position. Could take a while.
[17.08.2016 16:07:08] [FL-ER]Sidhe: Aye. I've got the time.
[17.08.2016 16:07:28] Captain: Omicron Iota is the nomads home system in the Sirius sector. According to how far away it is on the stellarcartography
[17.08.2016 16:07:50] Captain: it's possible the nomads also have their zone of influence in other parts of the galaxy.
[17.08.2016 16:08:50] Captain: However, it's those three systems, Iota, Omicron-99 and the Dyson Sphere of Omicron Major are their home systems.
[17.08.2016 16:09:04] Captain: Even we are not welcome there, whatever our intentions are.
[17.08.2016 16:09:20] Captain: Entering those systems is only for those with a deathwish.
[17.08.2016 16:09:42] Captain: However, you can try to talk with the K'hara outside of these systems.
This is nothing we wouldn't know or suspect, yet it's interesting to hear from somone else. And to be fair, he knew about the gates in Iota, so I think he actually really was there. The next bits are much more intersting.
Code:
[17.08.2016 16:10:48] Captain: They are actually reasonable, if you really try to see things from their point of view.
[17.08.2016 16:11:22] Captain: However, it's like the Auxesians say. They are programmed to evolve into killing machines. Mostly.
[17.08.2016 16:11:35] Captain: You know the little morphlings?
[17.08.2016 16:11:56] [FL-ER]Sidhe: Which ones ye mean?
[17.08.2016 16:12:26] Captain: The little ones. Just them. You will noticed they never attack first, as long as they are in non-nomad space.
[17.08.2016 16:12:48] [FL-ER]Sidhe: Aye.
[17.08.2016 16:13:05] Captain: According to a nomad called Astarte, the morphlings get send into human space to learn how to hate.
[17.08.2016 16:13:26] Captain: It's not possible to permanently kill a nomad, as they are connected to what is called a 'mindshare'.
[17.08.2016 16:13:37] Captain: The nomads are highly psionical beings.
[17.08.2016 16:14:05] Captain: As long as they are connected, they will regrow, but they will keep the knowledge of their prior lives.
[17.08.2016 16:14:26] Captain: That's why it's useless to attack them in house space. It's counter-productive.
[17.08.2016 16:14:33] Captain: They will remember it.
Well... if he's speaking the truth... I think ye can think of implications yerself.
Code:
[17.08.2016 16:16:09] Captain: By the way, you still didn't tell me about the objects.
[17.08.2016 16:16:46] [FL-ER]Sidhe: Well... to be fair. I want to find where exactly they can jump to. Where they can emerge. It might be a hidden jumphole, it might be just an anomaly.
[17.08.2016 16:17:26] [FL-ER]Sidhe: But I'm not comfortable knowin they can jump to house spaces all the way from iota and don't know where.
[17.08.2016 16:17:54] Captain: Well, you saw the gates. They will lead directly to the capital worlds. Close to them.
[17.08.2016 16:18:30] Captain: The nomads have the ability to create jump holes artificially. If you search long enough for it, you may will find a system that contains those jump holes that instantly transport you to the capital worlds.
[17.08.2016 16:19:37] [FL-ER]Sidhe: There's a lot of jump holes. how'd ya know the difference?
[17.08.2016 16:20:26] Captain: Oh, I'm sure you'd know if you found the system I mean. You will need to search for it. I'm afraid I can't give you hints about it, as I promised to not tell the way or more about it.
[17.08.2016 16:21:10] Captain: The system I'm speaking of is a place of pacifism. Not many people know about it. If you find it, don't do anything harming.
[17.08.2016 16:21:56] [FL-ER]Sidhe: Don't ye worry. I don't want to get dusted...
[17.08.2016 16:22:32] Captain: Good. However, those jump holes and the K'hara gates will lead to those capital systes.
[17.08.2016 16:23:06] Captain: It's to assume that they can create holes to other systems whenever they want and wherever they want.
[17.08.2016 16:23:23] [FL-ER]Sidhe: That's not really good news.
[17.08.2016 16:23:25] Captain: We can't do anything against it, I'm afraid.
Now this is... scary. But it isn't all he had to say.
Code:
[17.08.2016 16:24:33] Captain: Well, you don't need to fear them. Never show hostility to them. Then you're good.
[17.08.2016 16:25:40] Captain: They are like animals of prey. You need to keep that in mind.
[17.08.2016 16:25:56] Captain: Don't simply ignore them, but show them you're not their enemy.
[17.08.2016 16:26:08] Captain: And don't enter their territory.
And that's everything important that was said. It's a lot to take in and I meself am not entirely sure how much we can believe him... However, my scanners were not registering anything out of normal about him or his ship. And since I did met D9, I think I would notice if there were similarities.
I'm really interesting to hear ye opinions, lads, but I think we should try find that system he mentioned. If we do find it, it'll give us proof he wasn't lying at least 'bout that.
And please, keep this stuff to yourself. It's not exactly safe to 'now these things. A lot of people might ask questions.
