Standing and dropping his weight on the hologram device, Driedrik Sterr, Admiral of the Rheinland Militär, overviewed the plan one more time. His eyes caught every detail of the draft, his mind already conceiving all the possibilities and responses. Swiftly, he manipulated the image to show the sorroundings of Battleship Altenburg. These are the keypoints where you will be deployed. The assets named from #51 to #99 have been asigned to this area- Sterr zoomed out and in into a different location- - effectively taking full control of sectors Beta, Gamma and Theta. As for assets from #1 to #50, their orders have been issued previously. For our success, it is mandatory that the Red Hessian Army takes the bait, which requires asset #0 to come into place. Eyes placed in the dead center of the formations drawn starting from the New Berlin jumpgate, he continued. Asset #0 will lure out the enemy and hold out until the rest of the fleet is in position. Assets from #100 to #121 have their orders and will be deployed at a later point.

The Admiral of the Rheinland Mïlitar began walking towards the exit, slowing down the rythm of his severe voice. And, should the opportunity arise, asset #0 will commit to the elimination of Anna Heinrich. Looking for a moment further into the void as he pronounced those words, his front turned to the standing men, moment at which he stared deep into them. The light from the corridor behind shone with strenght, obscuring the Admiral's figure. Will you follow me one more time, Rheinland's finnest? Without hesitation, asset #0 walked out of the room while the Westfallen fleet patiently creeped its way towards Dresden.

Sitting behind the desk illuminating a map of the Dresden system, Anna studied it for some time before finally beginning to speak. The other officers in the room starred at the map some were in fear of what Anna's reaction would be to the news uncovered. Anything else agent? Anna said with casual tone. The comms channel was silent before hearing a sudden "Nein Fraulein, we've only seen a few fighters entering the system no capitals". Very well, I wan't you back in Dresden as soon as possible, await further instructions from me there. Replied Anna. "Ja Fraulein" the comms channel closed and Anna rose from her chair still starring at the map as if no one else was in the Room. She than looked up at the other Officers. Well it seems I'm clearly needed back in Rheinland, as are the bulk of our forces. She stood up completely glimpsing around the room before looking back down. Fleets A and B will be recalled back to Dresden. Fleet B will act as Votgland's defensive fleet while fleet A plays the offensive role. Fleet A will act ONLY as cover for the fighter wing, none of the vessels will over extend under ANY circumstances. It's clear Sterr is probably playing the bait. Viking will deal with Sterr, should he fail to handle him I will personally involve myself with this conflict. Viking will also assume command of the fighter wings. Fleets A and B will receive a more detailed assessment of the enemy forces as soon as they arrive in Dresden. Giving all the officers a serious look. What's the status on the production of our "Tempest" class carrier? "We have started making steady progress again Fraulein now that the colonization efforts on Tangier are nearly finished" One of the Officers replied. We need to work faster, without the Military dumping their resources into Liberty we will need the extra firepower to keep the Military's fleet at bay. "Understood Fraulein" He Replied. Gut, those of you that are with the Fleets mentioned should prepare for leave immediately, the rest are to return to your normal duties, dismissed. She sits back down staring at the map as the rest of the officers walk out.

Cometh the Hour of our reckoning, we will be ready
Cometh the Man who will fight beside me and be steady

Sterr's wraith pierced through the Hessian formation, slaying anyone who stood in his way. Pushing the wreck of an Odin very heavy fighter unfortunate enough to come across his mini razor torpedo a moment before, the ship's hellish appearance made the enemy waver. Where are you, Anna Heinrich?- He was shouting from the bottom of his lungs into the local comm channel- - come forth! I will end you myself! The only response the admiral got was a full salvo of lasser type projectiles chewing through his ship's shield. His teeth bit against eachother in anger. Viking... One of their best pilots who had clashed many times before with the admiral and survived to tell the tale. Maneuvering violently, the wraith's hull complained and moaned from the stress. Without a moment of hesitation, both adversaries jumped on eachother one more time...

Several minutes later

Piloten, disengage and retreat to the Altenburg. The admiral's battered wraith was the last one to break off and fall back. While cruising, with his enemies in hot pursuit, he looked back at the wreckage left, building up cold rage inside. The Red Hessians quit the chase and regrouped momentarily with their capital ships, at which point they commited to the Altenburg My brothers, stand with me! Defend the Altenburg, push them back! The enemy fighters once more engaged the remaining soldiers, their number advantage severely reduced thanks to the cloud. Moments later, the shadow of a Vidar class cruiser drew itself amongst the rubble. The comms erupted however, not with fear or panic. Sterr projected his voice firmly and decisively, grinning in satisfaction and expectation: Rheinwehr, engage. A cloud of flies came from the west, much like a swarm, directed by a single will of revenge and unprecedented courage. The mixed cheers of defenders and attackers alike mixed in a clear message delivered straight to the hessians.

The first of a hundred shadows engaged docking sequence in the Dresden gate.

Flying in at full speed towards the Rheinland Military fighter wing, Viking was looking for Sterr, looking to end the conflict rather. Fighter wings break off formation and send them to hell as he gunned above the fight before diving back down. Looking through the explosions ignoring the screams over his comms. Hesaw one wraith gunning through one of the Hessian fighter wings leaving ashes, wreckage, and body parts alike behind him. There you are he said as began to move in behind Sterr, he fired several rounds some hitting which got Sterr's attention. After clashing with Sterr for several minutes, Viking realized the bomber wing moving to intercept the capital fleet B. He broke off, Sterr did not follow.

1 Day later


Sterr escaped Fraulein, however we managed to destroy several fighters coming through. Several of our Capital Ships were damaged, some Vidars were completely destroyed. Anna leaned back in her chair her face completely red most likely from rage. The other Generals in the room looked nervous and pondered her reaction. Hmph very well, I suppose its time to involve myself personally, I'll deal with Sterr myself. I need you to report to Omega-55 with the Coalition I'm appointing you a new position she looked around the room still in her chair waiting for Viking's response. Understood Fraulein The Comm Channel closed. Anna stood up, I'm leaving Draay in charge of the Tangier operation until I'm back, I'm calling the RHB-Jormungand and additional forces to assist, there will likely be a Fleet coming to Dresden. You are all dismissed.

Cometh the Angel, the messenger from Hell we dreaded
Cometh the Devil's disciples, so we must be ready

Silently, Sterr's wraith shut down it's engine, making a circle around the rock in front of him. Two hessian fighters chased after him, their radars confused by the cloud. In a feat of cold rage, the hellish ship that held up by a thread opened fire one more time. In the void of space, death is mute.

Back near the tradelane, the Westfalen Fleet pushed forward steamrolling the leftovers of the hessian war machines. There were no screams of victory, no proclamations or warcries; only cold, unsheathed wrath. Reform the square. Direct all energy systems to recuperating your shields, heat pumps at maximum power. Just as silent as the surprise attack had been to the Red Hessian Army, warships painted with the hammer and sickle emerged from the southern clouds. Battered by the bomber assault, the previous fleet was but a child's play to the Liberty War veterans. This would be different, however. I am taking command of the Forseti, open the docking bay- Cruising towards the polished carrier, his smile became appearent- have my ship patched up and ready to go as soon as humanly possible.

Several minutes later

Men- Loud and clear, with a broken lip and resting on a control panel due to the damage taken, his voice spread through the system comms as lit gunpowder- ADVANCE! In a single shout of understanding, the last Military push began, facing off against the Red Hessian Army. There no longer were tactics or surprises up their sleeve to use, the battle would be an old fashioned all-out war. While the main bulk of the Rheinland forces pushed forward, having shattered a huge part of the enemy forces already, the backline was secured by the remnants of the Altenburg fleet, setting a long fortified cord across half the system. With the entrance secured, the repair and supply crews flooded through the jumpgate.

The race to repair the Altenburg and its fleet, alongside any ships damaged during the battle, had begun.

The Jormungand jumped in from the Omega-11 system, stopping itself near Leipzig station. Fraulein, we have a wing of bombers along with fighter escorts closing towards us. PILOTS TO YOUR SHIPS, I WILL JOIN YOU SHORTLY! Annabelle Heinrich's Bretonian accent sticking out completely from her state of anger, she rushed down to the Hangar eager to dispatch each of the vessels. About 2 minutes later her and several pilots were moving towards the fighter and bomber wings, You know what to do she said as she pitched down beneath the approaching fighter wing getting their attention. The fighter wing moved in after her, she could feel the ship vibrate at the impact laser projectiles. One of them sending her head forward into the cockpit glass, leaving a bloody mark on her forehead, after being disoriented for a second she looked back and saw she had every pilot's attention. NOW She screamed over the private comm's channel, the Hessian fighter wing moved in from the sides and began to open up on the Rheinland Military wing. She decreased the ships throttle whipping her back behind the wraiths that were once behind her. She opened fire, listening to the screams of the Military pilots over the local comms as their ships ignited. Following their deaths the bomber wing was easy.

After returning aboard the Jormungand she immediately returned to the bridge and led the other fleets towards the Altenburg past the wreckage of the first battle. The officers aboard the bridge starred at her waiting for her command. Seeing the body parts and wreckage floating through space only fueled the already burning hatred in her heart. After feeling the blood drip down her forehead from the bruise on her forehead one more time, she opened up the comms channel and yelled FIRE NOW!

Several minutes later.

Fraulein, the enemy ranks are being broken but they're receiving additional reinforcements we can't hold here with the additional pressure! The ship shaking from the impact of a Heavy mortar against the shields. Call the fleets back to Vogtland and have them form a defensive perimeter! She screamed at the officer over the sound of the Cerberus batteries firing. Take us back NOW! More reinforcements piled in through the New Berlin Jumpgate, in the distance several Ragnarok projectiles could be seen laying waste to a lone Tirpitz as well as a Vidar being completely obliterated by Bismarck cannon fire. The Jormungand made its advance back past Vogtland base, Annabelle dispatched and headed for Omega-54 to meet with the other officers.
