Good day citizens of Sirius -
My name is Cierra Kernshaw, Assistant Administrator here at Bethlehem Station. Today marks a exciting time for the Ingenuus Research Group, as well as Bethlehem Station, as we invite you for a virtual tour of the our beautiful station. Whether it be viewing our luxurious lounge, our stunning sculptures, as well as our top of the line vaults, I assure you this will be a visit worth remembering. Before we begin, I've taken the liberty of providing a table of contents for your pleasure, should you wish to skip ahead or only view portions of our station.
Before we show you the interior of the station, let us first look into the history of Bethlehem Station. Going back prior to the construction of Bethlehem though, Pennsylvania was originally settled by Zoners, free from Liberty and any other governments at the time. Finding only one hospitable planet in the system, the colonists turned their attention to the planet. In 761 A.S., the first Zoner groups landed on the planet Erie, soon followed by number of small groups from all over Sirius. These early settlers brought few materials with them, but used what the planet had to offer instead - small settlements built largely out of native wood, with a palisade to keep various predators at bay were built over the course of a few years.
Liberty, being next door to Pennsylvania however, was not willing to allow an independent planet to exist inside their borders. It considered the young colony a security risk, as there was no form of law enforcement planetside, which meant criminal groups could also freely land and build settlements for their own purposes. When the level of criminal activity became intolerable, even for the Zoners there, the Liberty Police stepped in to correct the situation. As plans for an orbital docking ring was to be established on Erie in 782 A.S., most of the local Zoners reacted negatively Liberty's moves, and some even started to assemble resistance detachments in order to start a guerrilla war in case Liberty will overstep its bounds. Many Zoners though, fearing absolute control from Liberty, began construction of a station that they themselves would govern, and would not allow unrest to reach a breaking point that would garner Liberty attention and action.
It was then in 780 A.S. that Bethlehem Station was constructed.
A safe harbor for not only those fearing Liberty control on Erie, but all Zoners across Sirius, Bethlehem was to be a central hub and beacon of hope. Initially, Liberty officials sought to wrest control of this new station, but heavy negotiations prevailed. Gradually, overtime Liberty officials were witty enough to see economical benefits that the presence of Zoners provided, and avoided a conflict by declaring Pennsylvania an independent system under Liberty protectorate, which offered the Zoners economical and political freedom. Moreover, Liberty would build a system of trade lanes to allow safer and faster travels between Pennsylvania stations and New York. While the system is supervised by a Liberty governor, Bethlehem enjoys complete autonomy.
While many officials and administrators came and went, it was in the year 822 A.S. that Bethlehem saw new administratorship, with the arrival of the Ingenuus Research Group. Pouring millions of credits into the renovations and upgrades apparent throughout the station, Bethlehem soon became a thriving station and became home to the IRG's public and corporate offices.
Now, please follow me as we see what Bethlehem Station is today...
Wanting to give you a first hand look of what it life is like aboard Bethlehem, allow us to guide you along as if you were physically arriving at Bethlehem...
Bethlehem Station Wrote:While appearances may make Bethlehem seem smaller in size compared to some of the larger stations within Sirius, make no mistake - Bethlehem is massive and filled with citizens coming and going through various parts of the station, as well as departing and arriving, such as yourself. Here we are arriving at "Terminal Frost", where we will entering one of the shuttles to take us to the main corridor.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:As you exit the shuttle, please feel free to gander at the beautiful displays to your left and right as you walk down the central corridor. These panels were infact imported from the ruins within Planet Pygar, in the Omicron Theta System. Rumor has it if you stare long enough into one of these panels, you'll see shadows in the reflection...
Now, may I have your attention.
I would formally like to extend my pleasure in being your guide thusfar, and it is with great humility and joy, that I welcome you to Bethlehem Station.
Gather around please. Here is where all arrivals check in and provide their information, should they wish to stay aboard Bethlehem for an extended period. Of course, for those delivering or receiving cargo, smaller check stations are located in the hanger bays as well as an assortment of smaller bars and restaurants. But here, here is where access to the bulk of the station is funneled through.
Please, enjoy some refreshments and let us take a short break before we continue the tour...
I hope you had a chance to grab some refreshments? Good. Please follow me as we head to the residential suites of Bethlehem.
As you can see, here we are in one of the central corridors. Suspended above you will see a wondrous flowing sculpture, that slowly mimics that of an ocean wave. Designed by a famed sculptor on Planet Curacao, this piece as only recently installed, but we have received numerous compliments thus far from the staff and residents here. Now, if you'll follow me.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:Obviously we have a plethora of suites available, but let me show you one of our executive suites. This particular one has imported wood from the forests of Planet Tomioka in the Nagano system. A spacious living room, it is the perfect setting for our more wealthy visitors.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:If you turn around, here you can get a nice view of the suite itself. Fully stocked kitchen, lower floor washroom, smaller secondary bedroom, as well as illuminated panels that can be adjusted by voice activation. Upstairs houses a den as well as the master bedroom and washroom. This suite even holds a game table, with a wide range of entertaining games pre-installed. Please follow me upstairs.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:Each our of executive suites includes a wall mounted display screen, a simulated fireplace, as well as a wide range of books for decorations. Don't worry though, the datapad on the nightstand has all of the books in digital form. Cleaning services runs once a day, so you will always have fresh sheets when you decide to turn in for the night. Now if you'll follow me, we'll continue on with the tour.

The bedroom can be closed off with ease, and these smaller rooms include a small kitchen complete with sink, dish washer, and mini fridge. This particular room offers a wonderful view of Planet Tyrone, where you can view the stunning lava flows planetside.

Now, please follow me as we make our way back to the central corridor.
As we continue down the stairs, please note the sculptures, that represent a mix of nature and technology, evolution and creation. As we near the bottom of the stairs, I welcome you to our Corporate Suites.
Here we are in the corporate suite waiting area. Off to each side are the hallways leading to various offices, conference rooms, security center, as well as the elevator to the vaults. If you'll follow me, we'll head over here to the left.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:One of over 50 conference available for booking, each of our conference rooms comes standard with wall displays, programmable table to suite all your business needs, as well as electrochromic Glass to ensure the upmost privacy when conducting meetings here. With capacity ranging from 5 to 100, our conference rooms will be the perfect spot for your next presentation or conference.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:As we walk further down the second hallway, here we have our office suites. Most are already occupied, but here you can see a smaller space setup with four desks, allowing for up to eight guests to utilize the computers that come standard for each office. With wall mounted security panels, these rooms offer state of the art security systems to ensure your information and data is protected.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:Now, to ensure your information is kept safe, we offer closed network server rooms such as this one here. When the room is unoccupied, the server banks are lowered into the floor, and a laser grid becomes active. Also included are smaller safes should you need to secure physical items as well. Now follow me and we will view one of the security rooms that monitors each server vault.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:Here we are at but on of our security centers. With 24/7 surveillance and system monitoring, our security team keeps close watch on the corporate level, to ensure the best security for our clients. With over 150 security cameras on this level alone, there is little that happens without our team's knowledge. Of course, within the offices themselves as well as the conference rooms, we respect the need for privacy and will a simple call to this center will allow our team to adjust the security measures.
As we head back to the main lobby area, let us head to the other end.
Here is the entrance to our most secure vaults. Access is made by appointment only, provided you have your security card given at the time of renting one of our vaults, and will require a minimum of a 48 hour reservation to access the vault level. With a guard posted at the entrance, as well as a laser grid that can only be deactivated by one of your security cards as well as our staff here, this is the only way in and out of the vaults. Shall we continue?
Please follow me through the doors here - excellent.
Let me welcome you all, for a first time viewing, to the Ingenuus Research Group vaults. Before we view the final part of our tour, let me first walk you through our other vault options.
Bethlehem Station Wrote:If notice when we first walked in, as well as looking through the glass panels here, each vault is in fact it's own external room, that you can call using your security card as well as a 9 digit pin. Once confirmed, your vault will be retrieved and brought to the entrance platform, like the one you saw when we walked in. Each room houses a computer that can only access the internal network, and even then is only granted access via your security card. Shall we see one of the vaults now?
Bethlehem Station Wrote:Here we can see the interior of one of the aforementioned vaults. This particular one is of course a display model, for our sales staff and account managers to show to prospective clients. As you can see, it is quite spacious and can fit a wide variety of confidential materials, depending on client needs.
Now, let me key it in... yes perfect. As I mentioned at the beginning, let me invite you, as the first guests ever, to view a portion of the Ingenuus Vault. This vault is stationary, so we will be using a re-purposed vault that has been converted into a elevator that will take us down.
And... here we are. The Ingenuus Vault.
Storing a wide variety of data, the Ingenuus vault is one of the most protected and secured sections on Bethlehem. Access of course is restricted to all but senior level Ingenuus personnel, though we have been granted a special viewing. Now, I have a special treat for you all. If you will follow me towards the center of the vault...
It has been an honor providing you with this first hand look at Bethlehem Station. But the Ingenuus executives have tasked me with saving the best for last. Over the years, the IRG have worked on a variety of special projects. Majority are kept confidential, but few have been made public.
Tonight, the Ingenuus Research Group is happy to announce their newest endeavor. Having spent over two years within R&D, they have had a breakthrough and are ready to unveil a revolutionary piece of technology for you today.
May I present to you, the Ingenuus Power Cell.
The Ingenuus Power Cells are state of the art cores that are the product of years of research into the combined energies of human and alien origin. Encased in a unique housing and suspended in an electromagnetic field, the core itself is a self-sustaining plasma sphere that has enough energy to power some of the largest vessels in Sirius with relative ease.
In fact, this station itself has been retrofitted to run off four Ingenuus Power Cells, and have been for over 6 months now. A truly remarkable feat, and one that the IRG is most proud of showing you today for the first time.
We are also happy to announce that these Cells are available for purchase as of this moment. Of course, an extensive application process as well as background check are required for purchase, and only reputable organizations will be allowed purchasing of these Cells. Bulk orders of course can be negotiated as well.
Please visit this link here to begin the application process.
That concludes our tour. I thank you again for allowing me the opportunity to be your guide, and of course feel free to view any prior sections covered in this virtual tour.
