I'm sure you recall that skirmish in Texas, where we fielded our warships in force. Arktos, The Wraith, and the Andraste. We did pretty good. However I'm sure you also noticed that the Andraste isn't exactly like the other two. Given that the Incursus was present, you can connect the dots as to where it comes from.
Now, one of the biggest differences between the Andraste and almost all of our other ships was that it hasn't received its conversion overhaul to be more adaptable to technology. It's making use of equipment and weaponry that we can't replicate and can barely maintain. This poses a significant problem, because if one of its batteries ends up damaged beyond our ability to fix it, we can't get parts and we can't replace it. The lack of shipyard space doesn't really help with that, so with your permission I'd like to send Tantalus and the Andraste up to Leniex for its conversion while our Logistics division begins manufacturing some AR-101's and 102's to refit it with.
I'm not the type of person to ask and give nothing in return though. Given the solidification of the Commonwealth as a legitimate Government and the abundance of resources surrounding her territory, you're doing well for yourselves, and since you've done alright by us, I'd like to put a handful of APC-18100 "Marlin" Fighters on the table in exchange, including some exclusive weaponry manufactured in the Omicrons. We can't really mass-produce such equipment all the time, and seeing as how we make use of some HF-Vs, it'd be only right to return the favor, now wouldn't it?
Who knows, we might even put up some Steelheads too. Quick little bombers.
