Not being funny because I'm very grateful and happy to see the sever is back, but as this event goes considering how many different people live in different time zones and how long the sever was down and how quickly this event ran its course, It might have been a good idea to hold off on starting this event until once it was more common knowledge the sever had returned, Personally I didn't make a penny on this event and I know I'm not the only one, Might it not have been a better Idea to send everyone one a equal amount of cash to one of there chars if you wanted to gift everyone ?
Anyway just happy the game is back so, take what i commented with pinch of salt.
Nice event. I really enjoyed it, had a lot of fun interaction and also made some cash.
Just a few comments though:
- Although I appreciate the event as a Christmas gift and a compensation for the server downtime, I think it would be more fair to players to announce the event some time in advance, so people had more time to find out that the server is online. Even if the event had to be delayed.
- On that note, its also not fair to those, who had to go to work Monday and Tuesday. Maybe split the event to 7 days (or more?), with specific time each day (different time each day), so more people have chance to participate? Maybe as someone else suggested, make this a monthly/weekly thing to promote interaction?
- Recently I encountered a bug (it does not seem its intended to work this way):
1) I bought 4970x Coal for Gallia.
2) Got pirated and inRP jettisoned one piece of Coal for Gallia for the pirate.
3) At New Paris St.Denis i docked and sold the 4969x Coal for Gallia.
4) Got message: "you have been unregistered from event for bringing more cargo than you bought"
I brought LESS cargo than I bought. I admit, that loosing cargo is a bad thing, more so in a case of gifts, but the error message implies something else. Please check it out.

you only get the bonus if you sell the exact same amount as you bought, I think
How would the "winners" go about claiming their prizes ? 'Tis my first event where I actually won something haha. And if I do remember right there was a prize right ?

You deliver, you get cash.
You deliver the right amount of the right commodity to the right place, you get extra cash.
After each successful delivery it displays green text telling you the bonus you got.
