Greetings esteemed overlord,

I know you have not heard from me much of late however, I have been cooking up a nice little deal that should benefit everyone in the Commune and our cause. Both in obtaining funding and establishing a foothold in the Kansas system which should make it easier to monitor the Ancient gate located there.

I've started negotiations with DSE after the discovery of one of their installations in Kansas. I was able to establish contact with their leaders through one of their lower ranked members and they gave them permission to negotiate possible deals.

There does seem to be some degree of interest in negotiating some kind of deal here. I was able to conceal our true intentions for wanting access to the base by telling them we wished to use it as a listening outpost for Auxesian activity in the area. I'll do my best to get us docking access to the base as well, though this may be a little more difficult however I have a feeling it can be done. I'll update you as the situation develops.

The Oracle then had to leave abruptly, after which Jared decided to take me out on a tour. What I saw was beyond my wildest imaginations (which was, in any case, hindered by my silly 24-7-at-the-desk work in xeno). First off we visited Corsica colony, by the fringe of a... black hole! I don't know what happened to the planetoid and how it is still in place, but this system looked like a bad luck's mess.

According to Jared, my soon-to-be colleague Dave Synk goes on vacation to the event horizon of that thing. Can't say I don't approve of this insanity, for this may well be the thing that drives our science forward nowadays. Moving on, we then descended deep into Annunaki territory. I got to glide down the trade lanes created by the Spirits, to enter their warp gates. The firsthand experience in using alien technology (mind you, using, not just touching or observing!) is something I have never even dreamed of during my time in Cambridge.

Addressing all relay contacts,

My report shall be rather huge. So where do I even begin? Hm...

Well, first of all. I've begun with refreshing our connections with Das Wilde and, most importantly, the Iseijin. Of course, communique to agent Unschuld was rather more of a request but, it will develop to close cooperation, like we used to with Das Wilde. Iseijin, on other side- we didn't have contact for a while with them. To be precise, it was like 3 or 4 years? Anyway, they invited me and whoever will accompany me to Heaven's Gate. Now you don't get that every day.

Ah yes, the Das Wilde part. I should announce you that we have another vessel as a part of collective, and we are to assist it if it will be needed. For now it is on it's own due to it's specific role that requires it to act covertly. The name is The Olympus, and it is APM Battlecruiser. The commander and her second in command are on our side, while the crew is unaware. Their role is very specific, as they in the beginning deflected from Core, and are now pursing Order to join their primary fleet. Guess what that means?

And the last... well. Huss.. Hussaini and I went on a patrol. We ended up in Omicron Mu right after you exit from mine field. There we saw Them, and couple of warships and other vessels around Thebes border citadel.

Anunnaki or Nomads or whatever you want to call them, went to burn them after they exchanged plenty of, if I could say words, with them. In that same moment, Skywolf 1 arrived and we followed them into the fight. Of course, they all retreated and on the end it was only us.

But, there was this individual, a female, mentioning in all that mess: Golanski, Emissary, miss Loyola... and artefact. That caught my attention but contact was out of radar range by that time. I told Skywolf to enter formation and we went to search for it. Contact was again caught and direction led us towards the Order home planet.

Afterwards, we were returning to Hussaini and Them, and we spoted a new contact, a Freelancer. His name was Ray Jericho, nicknamed Joker. He expressed his wish to learn about Them, and be accepted. They agreed and I decided to put him on test.

I demanded him to turn down his shields off, as a matter of trust. If he wasn't speaking the truth, he wouldn't do it, and They would sense it. But, I even didn't believe but he complied.



And, after having a talk with him, and him being enlightened, we've dealt with Order Cruiser, that came straight from mine field too. The fight was really tough and we lost one of Them, as well as we lost Skywolf. Pilot is fine and is on board the Nighthawk who on the end, accompanied us, and made Cruiser to retreat. This isn't the end, and I think that sacrifice of our pilot and his vessel wasn't for nothing. They then decided to vanish into the darkness of space and Freelancer decided to join us. Why not I mean? We then spotted another Freelancer, which our Freelancer friend seemed to know. We followed him and I eventually made him to stop, so we could interrogate them. I mean, he was either working for Order and against us, or a lone wanderer. It shown to be on the end that he is part of some Black Guard, and he made sure that he isn't hunting Nomads while Hussaini and I did cross-interrogation to him. I didn't believe him but, if he is, we will get him easy.

We've spotted a contact on our scanners that was known to us. It was that female's vessel that mentioned us Proteus Tome and all other people. This time, we chased it while it was away from any station but vessel seemed not operational. Well, it was but ther wasn't anyone inside.

We approached the vessel, Hussaini and that Freelancer and I, and had a look on it. Cockpit's glass seemed to have bullet holes on it and inside, there was blood all over. We were thinking what should we do but then I told Hussaini to go into vessel, right after I blew it's shield generator. What was inside contained cruical information for us, the female.

We've inspected the vessel and we only found signs of masacre. Hussaini told that there is a blackbox that was attempted to be pulled out from vessel. We were thinking to blow it up but we realized that it was intact, a pristine, fully equipped Very Heavy Fighter. Therefore, I went to bring the Nighthawk together with me, while my vessel was very damaged.

The fighter was successfully brought into Nighthawk's docking deck and both are in safe, away from danger. We will inspect the ship further, now on our own ground and with more time, and we will see what we going to find. After we are done with that, I will be handing the fighter to doctor Synk, who could use it for further studying and who knows what else, even copying the technology and blueprints.

I come bearing the results of our technicians' work regarding the black box recovered from the derelict fighter we found yesterday. Security cam recordings were recovered with only minimal corruption of the content, and have been stored as such in our archives within the Compendium. I will stream the compiled version to this relay, for ease of access.

[Playback begins]

The ship's interior is shown from several angles, and the first few hours are uneventful at best. The compiled video fast-forwards through these sections. The video pauses for a moment, then resumes at a normal pace. The approach to Akabat is seen from the pilot's perspective, the docking ring opens and accepts the landing request. The descent continues through what appears to be standard landing procedure. At this point, a corruption of the pilot's view camera makes the recording illegible. Cockpit view reveals the pilot removing her helmet in preparation for touchdown - The video zooms into her face and then zooms out before continuing. Extreme turbulence as seen through the interior cameras suggests either malfunction or forcible grounding of the craft by the Order's ground forces.

The ship crashes to the ground at this point, the pilot is thrown out of her seat by the force of impact. Several objects are scattered around the interior. The pilot is still stirring, but appears to be heavily dazed from impact, she struggles to move. Cockpit view shows ground vehicles closing in and surrounding the ship. The pilot stands up and makes a disoriented and panicked run for the ship's cargo bay. Heavy fire from the surrounding forces brings the ship's shields down, and the cockpit is seen to crack and break under the fire. The pilot reaches the cargo hold, but falls mid-dash, apparently hit by several of the rounds that were sprayed on the ship.

The order marines are seen as they board the ship and tear down the cargo bay doors. They attempt to seize the pilot, she struggles, but in vain. One of them delivers a blow to her head and knocks her out. A corruption, the video skips a few minutes. Two people, a male and a female, obviously Order officers are seen talking in the cargo bay, over the unconscious body of the pilot. The female picks up the pilot in her arms gently and carries her out of the ship, disappearing from camera view.

The male remains and proceeds to vandalize the ship's environment, possibly looking to dispose of any discriminating evidence. He picks up some of the pilot's personal belongings in haste and burns her paperback documents. He then picks up a fire extinguisher and batters the black box several times, then leaves the ship in a hurry. Several minutes pass uneventfully, the video fast forwards and pauses. It zooms into the ship's instrument table, showing a green light for take off going online, the video unpauses. The ship's AI autopilot kickstarts the engine and the ship launches into space.

Quite the intriguing piece of cinema, don't you think? This adds a whole new dimension to this situation. I suggest further investigation, specifically into the identity of the inept conspirators seen towards the end of the recording. If the Proteus Tome is truly at stake somewhere in the middle of this game, then we need to get involved, and fast.

As we were told, we prepared ourselves for trip to Omega 9. Skywolf One was already waiting for me in Omicron Gamma, where we met and jumped to Omicron Omega.

Our path towards Omega 9 was clear, we first had to reach Omega 47 and Cayman, which I've never seen before. Colors inside it are just amazing.





As we entered Omega 9, we didn't had to wait for too long. Agent Unschuld's contact appeared on our scanners and we went closer to it. It was strange that in same moment, as we were talking with agent, Oracle appeared near us. I don't know if it is coincidence, or either we were followed from Omicrons but, if we were, under whose order would be that, and why?

As soon as we noticed that Oracle, Red Hessian vessel appeared on our scanners. We decided to depart and spread. Good thing is that, Hessian went for me instead for agent, so she had time to get to safe. I, on other hand, almost died there, as I ran out of nanobots.

After I managed to enable my cloaking device, I headed to Omega 49, where I regrouped with Skywolf One. As we were suggested, we started our way to the Omicron Kappa. Of course, due to what happened in Omegas this time, we decided to use Bretonia and Tau systems. This way, as we were low supplies, we decided to land on planet Malta.

After we restocked and resupplied, we made our way to Omicron Kappa, where we finally met with Agent, and where we received the package. After we got into deep space, the Nighthawk appeared, and we landed. God, it was a good feeling to be on safe.







I would also highly advise to keep in mind that Oracle. As we mentioned, he was perhaps following us from Omicrons and whole time. This wasn't a regular daily patrol but top secret meeting that nobody should have know of yet, there we were all together.

I come with an update on the Proteus Tome situation. Specifically regarding the 'girl' Nomak met a few days ago, yes, the one heavily featured in the recordings we recovered from the black box.

With the information we gathered prior to the event I am about to describe, I deduced that we were woefully lacking in any real leads and options, so I decided to pay another visit to where the Silver Sun doesn't shine - the Order's black bastion. I kept to the shadows, in and out of cloak, until I finally reached the rings of Planet Nebet, overlooking the Order's home - Akabat. I had hoped that the interference from the rings would conceal my position as I scanned the surface with my ship's instruments, and surely enough, for a time they did.

After a few minutes, however, Akabat's ground-to-space scanner array came online, I noticed it as a flash of light lit up near the moon's north pole. I attempted to engage my cloaking device but it became unresponsive. A software error was at fault, I'm led to believe. Someone should look into that.

Needless to say the array picked up on my position, but interestingly enough, only a single ship launched to intercept me. I initially attempted to thurst my way towards one of the other moons as I waited for my cloaking systems to recharge, but this single ship piqued my interest. So I waited for it.

And lo and behold, it's the girl. Yes, -the- girl. And she didn't appear to be very dead or otherwise incapacitated at all. Here is the transcript of the encounter that followed.

Yes, it was all a ruse. How unexpected. [He claps sarcastically]

And before someone asks, yes, I did consider outright shooting her, but I decided against it as I was literally within the range of any and all ground-to-space cannons planetside. And besides, I don't think this "guardian" carries the object with her, nobody would be that dim-witted. And she's certainly not dim-witted at all, perhaps a bit stubborn, possibly also deranged, but not dim-witted, no.

As you can see, my attempts at coercing her to relinquish the object willingly have failed. I still think coercion is possible, but we don't have nearly enough time or opportunities to do so. Towards the end, you can see her alluding to suicide. She's certainly insane enough to do so, but I think it's just another attempt at deception. Fool me once, as they say.

Diplomacy has failed, my brethren, I advise capturing her by force the next time we meet her, that is - if we meet her. In the meantime, I suggest the Commune convenes to discuss the next step of this operation. This concludes my report.

Today, our objective was to fly from Minor to the Alpha sector, for the sake of regular maintenance of our Destroyer, Nighthawk.





During our trip, there were no issues as the path towards Alpha sector was peaceful and clear for us. We took dangerous path trough the Gamma sector and luckily enough, we reached Xi in time that was planned.









As we've reached Beta sector, nearby Maltese patrol welcomed us, and said that they will inform next patrol in Alpha, to escort us straight to Valetta.

Skywolf Two, mission report.





While being on patrol around Omicron Kappa, I received a distress call from one of our agents within Gallic Royalists. The vessel stated that there were two Zoner colony ships in Omicron Psi sector, and probably to hunt down "them" and use their remains for who knows what.

I immediately informed Skywolf One about this and made my way towards Iota Hypergate.





After I jumped to Psi, I noticed two contacts and I went closer to them. Those appeared to be two Colony vessels with Zoner identification. Soon after that, Terasque appeared, which sent me the call, and Skywolf One, who was behind me. We then proceeded with bombing them, while Terasque was sieging them from the distance. There was one of Them supporting us too.







As one of the ships was slowly going down, the other one decided to run away, which I noticed and went into pursuit. The first one, met the faith that it deserved.









The other Colony ship proceeded towards the Hypergate. I followed trough and I was almost dead as the vessel opened fire on me. I took evasive maneuvers while I was waiting for the rest to help me out.







When all of us were there, on the other side, vessel activated the Hypergate again, which sent it to Iota. We followed trough, where it met same faith as the first one.





It then proceeded to activate the lanes towards the Minor Hypergate, in order to run but then we were accompanied by the Great Ones, who delivered justice to it.





After we've dealt with it, there was third Colony ship on the way to Iota from Minor... what is wrong with the Zoners, I will never know. It was taken down too, and I enjoyed in the fireworks. It was glorious to see that.













After that, we departed and went back to home to rearm and resupply.
