The upload of our gun-cam's footage is ready. Since I believe you have a closer connection to the Confederacy of Freeports, here's the data. To be honest, I think McCool would be annoyed if I contacted him again with concerning news, so, it's your turn.

Uhm, about that spy thing - should be obvious that I'd rather stay loyal to the CoF after all they did to help us than to spy on them. However, I can't wait to see the "job offering" from that guy. Maybe I'd be the red hessians top spy, in a battleship. Would be so obvious, nobody would expect it.
Don't worry. This transmission won't explode after reading it.
Regarding the APM advanced Hardware we talked about. My mobile home vessel could spare 10 units of those for your research. Just notify me when you're in Omega-49 again. Would be glad to share this with you.
On the other hand, maybe you could help me with something. You know, I'm using a very top-level transmission encryption matrix, just to make sure not even the Order or someone else can listen to what I am saying. Not that they would. However, while I trust the group that gave me this nice toy, I, for good reason, want to establish my own transmission relay network, so the messages can't even be intercepted anymore, even though the encryption can only be decrypted by the recipient.
My chief engineer told me about the possibility to create nano transmission transmitters, however, the Apahanta doesn't have the facilities or tools to create such things. Although, we have blueprints and the material on our other asset.
What do you think? Are you able to build us about 30 of them? If so, we can give you the ressources when we meet in Omega-49.
James adjusts his position and seems to fiddle with something off-screen, bevore noticing that the transmission is already running.
Mister Vertiga! Greetings. I apologize for the extended waiting period. Me and my people were caught up in a... special job. Let's get right to business, shall we? He picks up a glass from his table and takes a swig of the white liquid, which was probably milk.
To answer your question, yes we would be interested in getting our hands on the technology you were reffering to in our little chat. Though we will need more than one sample to analyze, 3 or 4 units should prove sufficient. We just want to see how close this technology actually comes to AI technology; just to satisfy our curiosity. He looks to a certain spot, probably located on his desk, trying to remember the other part of the transmission to construct a fitting response.
So this device of yours is an interesting one. We will help you to build it, but will also request to... adjust it alittle bit while not changing what it's supposed to do. That display for example: on a device that small it's pretty much useless. We will of course build it one way or another - no favor is to free of course - but I highly suggest that you take our change propositions into consideration. He looks like he is trying to remember if there was something that he forgot.
That should be it. Looking forward to hearing from you.
No need to apologize, Mr. El Harady, I'm sure Canaan is involved with many more interesting projects. Seem like the Gammuan AIs like you. As I said, I had quite a lot encounters with them, both peaceful and hostile. Luckily, the latter only at very rare occasions. Still playing with the thought to follow PRIME|Empathy's invitation to Omicron Kappa, however, you know my situation with the Core.
Anyway, I talked with my chief engineer about the transmitters, and he agrees in a cooperation with your team. However, he was sad, since he believes everything is more impressing with a display. The Apahanta will be on patrol in Omega-49 this afternoon. If you're in range, feel free to contact us. I'll bring my other ship in position then.
Of course, nothing is for free in Sirius. What do you suggest a fair price for your work?
Mister Vertiga, I'm pleased to hear from you again so soon. You seem to be quite the efficient worker. He says this with a faint smile on his lips
Now for your question, if you owe us something for the service, I'd say you supplying us with the technology we were talking about should be payment enough. These days we have become quite well at harvesting and re-using materials, so no problems from that perspective. James pauses for a second
Now for the meeting you proposed, I think that should be possible. Since I'm interested in continuing to chat with you, I will make some time to come down to Omicron-49 again.
I suppose I will see you then. He he folds his hands and nods, before ending the transmission

El Harady, are you still out there?
I just browsed through my contacts and was reminded of you and Miss Calvo. Are you still alive and happy? My last information was that you guys have merged with the IRG, and then I never heard anything about you. We never finished the deal back then, too. But that doesn't have that much of priority right now.
Just ping me back. The Apahanta is still at Livadia for a while, so if you're still on Gammu, we're in range.
Some cracks and bangs are heard before James appears on screen, knocking over undestinguishable junk laying on the table
Yes, yes I'm here. He straightens his posture and seems a little more collected now
Now that merge with IRG didn't go as smoothly as planned. Right now I'm on my own. The Arcadia is still in the closer proximity of Planet Gammu so a meeting shouldn't be too difficult. Let me know once you are there.

It's good to hear from you. The biggest fear was that you could have been on the freeport in Delta when Core started the second attack on it.
I'd like to come over for a visit, however strange things have been happening recently. Omicron Kappa has been visited more frequently in the recent days, by all kinds of people. Rumors on Livadia are that a few new jump hole connections have been tested a few days ago and they seem to be stable. Gives us a new job, as we need the Apahanta's maps to remain up-to-date. How is it with you? Up for a little trip through the Omicrons?
It is true. I too have noticed that Kappa has become quite the center of attention for a lot of people. While the Canaan Project has come to a little bit of a halt, our implants still connect us to the PRIME AI and at least allow us limited access to their database. While they are very restrictive about sharing their future plans, I can tell that they are up to something.
First of all I noticed a spike in what seem to be exploration missions south of Planet Gammu. An increased ammount of Harvesters have been sent to that area to review an anomaly that has appeared in that area.
Secondly an increasing amount of harvested materials is being shipped out somewhere beyond Omicron Delta. While I'm not quite sure what those materials are used for I assume the PRIME AI is constructing something.
As for taking a trip through the Omicrons... I guess you know me well. I'm up for it.

That was quite interesting what we found today. Once the Apahanta is ready, I'll definitely take a closer look at all that. The planet especially caught my interest, the gravity pull was extreme. Slowed down the Rover from 425 to 303. I guess I won't be able to get close with the Apahanta, but the sensor array is significantly stronger than on the drone.
I hope the radiation didn't get through too much. Maren seems to be okay, but I'll, let's say, inspect her a bit more in detail later. In the meantime I wanted to ask about whether the stuff I once requested. Like, the Canaan transmission encryption matrix. The other stuff is rather unimportant for now. Do you think we can finish that deal?
