The following interview was conducted three weeks prior to the graduation of pilot Felix Gemini Urban under license class D. The man being interviewed is shown below. A bartender on P. Los Angeles, his relation to Felix is undisclosed.
Of course I know 'em, Felix. ~What a strappin' young lad!~
*chuckles*
Nah, he's a good guy. Comes here all the time. Not with anyone though, just him. Always wondered that about him. Why he's alone, I mean. He's got the good enough looks to at least find a girl his age here, take 'er home, ya know?
*grins*
What do you want to know about the guy? What he drinks?
Oh.
Nah, he seems pretty sane to me. He talks to me right where you're sitting nearly every weekend, just tells me how excited he is to finally get off the planet. I don't know if he's got any friends, to let ya know. Why? Cause he never talks about 'em! C'mon man, if I were to talk to somebody about my life I'd at least mention the fun I had with the buds at the shore last weekend.
What's he talk about? As I just said, he talks about flyin'. I mean I could never get into that... bein' in space all the damn time. I'm fine here, got a family anyway. Pretty recent too, wanna see my baby?
*takes out a picture from his neural net device*
Yup, just 8 months old, named her Alice, after her aunt. Such a cutie! The wife's good too. Knows how to treat a man right, am I right?
*grins*
Oh yeah, Felix. I can't tell ya much about his life outside the bar, alright? All he tells me about is what he's gonna do when he leaves the planet. He said he's gonna live off his own will, pursue his dreams of exploration and triumph.
*he smiles, looks down*
He says he'll send me somethin' great if he ever gets far. We'll see, we'll see.
I really wish the best of luck to 'em. He seems really passionate about it all. He's a good kid, let him get that license.
The interviewee wished to return back to his shift. This concludes the report.
