Okay now this probably sounds silly,but I'm getting the godlike vibe once more. (I hope this time it's not as nooby as it was the previous time,when I was unaware of the fact that you start the game with the admin shield). This time it's the hull - it can't get breached! Except with missiles (a w.platform had the best of me once,and that's about it). Just noticed it today,wasn't playing it regularly and I'm the explorer-type of a player,but I think that I was getting bashed earlier in combat. Help is welcomed!
P.S. I searched through the forum - how come nobody else got this lame-a$$ moment?

I've noticed the same problem - even after you lose your shield, there is a second, infinite shield which makes you nearly invincible. Only explosions and shots from certain directions do damage.
Even stranger is that this infinite shield has fixed size regardless of the ship you are flying. So a freighter or bigger will take full damage.
The only way I know to remove this infinite shield is to fly without a shield.
Exactly. I thought maybe it was the ship,but hell no - even much stronger ones suffer from the same problem. Does anybody else have a solution,proposition on how to handle this crappy bug?
Of course,deleted the vanilla FL,all of its saves...no luck.
Come on,guys n' gals...you are pretty capable,people on this forum solve all kinds of issues,glitches and bugs daily...I'm pretty sure Corundum & myself are not the only ones who experienced this problem,there must be others as well,there are a ton of people playing this mod...any idea what's causing the bug and how to remedy it is more then welcomed,and thanks for it!
I get that,but...It's still pretty weird that it occurs SP only,isn't it? Maybe it's not that hard to fix at all,if I could just grab the modders' attention... I'll try posting it on the bug section as well,just got it today that this was an RP section.
