My name is Driedrik Sterr, from the reserve, and I'd like to submit an action report to you.

Today, during a patrol inside the Hamburg's borders, my scanner system detected strange signals. Following the movements' vectors I ambushed an enemy party at the Bering's jumphole, composed by three LSF agents and a fourth member, belonging to the "VR" freelancer group. Apparently, the Liberty's squad was escorting him back to their sovereign space.

Inmediatly I took their presence as a direct agression towards the state and proceed with the engagement. A first escort was put down, quickly followed by a second and third. A last one, probably as reinforcement, was as well forced to eject..

These escorts however managed to fulfil their task. I wasn't able to take the "VR" entity down before he made it to a hostile station, at which point I wasn't able to accomplish his elimination.

I apologize for my failure as I'd failed on my duty. Nevertheless, the main reason for this transmission is my belief of a plan, a reason behind the enemy's actions: protecting the freelancer's veseel on which I wasn't able to run a scan. His pilot is supposed to be "Harold Kane" as per the ID.

I can't tell if this has any importance within the war, I can only hope my report prevents any future trouble provoqued by the Liberty's Republic.

If things are as they indeed appear, it would seem that the Libertonians are either in the process of, or have already enlisted the aid of a known terrorist organization - for reasons unknown, as most recent estimations to the strength of the VR have been assessed to be quite minimal.

For scoring four consecutive enemy kills within a single engagement with no reinforcements, you are hereby awarded the Knights Cross, Second Class.

I, Driedrik Sterr, would like to once again submit an action report.

During the checkout performed earlier today, a few hours ago, my scanners showed several contacts among the rock fields in Hamburg. By the time I arrived, there were three "VWA", an organization which I hadn't met before, apparently negotiating with a RFP| and a [RM] pilots, who were escorted by an RNC vessel.

The database I logged in showed the group named earlier as hostile targets, these being in possesion of civilians. Quickly, I decided to engage, refusing to accept the orders to stand down from the Primary Fleet officer, who threatened my status as a secondary fleet pilot. In a brief period of time, the first of them fell down. As witness of the facts taking place, the Polizei agent, and against my own wish, decided to jump in.

A second target was taken down. The brave agent who I fought side by side with was forced to eject by the last terrorist (guncam data missing). As an avenger, I blew him up, securing the Polizei's pod but missing the VWA's in the process. I shall be punished as you deem neccesary for this.

All the civilians were collected by the Primary Fleet officer without further annoyances. May I mention my doubts about negotiating with the enemy, as it exposes a weakness that our nation does not have.

As a last observation, I believe that the Primary Fleet should not only show in larger forces, but also with the guns blazing. The loss of a Phantom ship type vessel could have been avoided with a greater aid from the non mentioned officer, whose facts were only to be heard from the distance.
