Quote:3.2 A player who was killed during a PvP fight in any form, must not enter the system where the fight took place or re-engage the attacker(s) for 2 hours from the time of their destruction, or until this/these ship(s) leave(s) the game.
Consequences:
Guns and money have been taken from your ship, and you will find yourself in a lovely system called Bastille.
Post here showing you understand the rule you broke and after 7 days we will let you back out.

I landed onto Manhattan the night before this confrontation so i could go offling for
the evening. I came back on the following day. I took off from Manhattan trying to find someone in the Liberty high command. I was approched by a captain [LN]
who did not like Zoners (lol). He scanned my ship and demanded i turn over my
prisoners to him. I tried to explain that these prisoners were for someone above
his pay grade. Although I did offer him one prisoner. They were "Fugitives", they
were in posession of many military secrets of the Gallic Navy. When I refused to
comply, he commenced fireing. i told him I would not fire back. He destroyed my
ship. I did not fire back because I did not want it to count as a PvP because I new
I would be trapped at Mahattan if I did fire back. That poor excuse for a naval
officer destroyed my ship 3 more times even though I refused to fire back. It would
have happened again if one of his superior officers had not come by and told him
to nock it off. I admit I told the other guy that he should keep that guy on a tighter
leash. I think i should be released with all of my credits and equipment returned.
As I said, I purposefully did not fire because I did not want to trigger 3.2

As a person who was a direct witness to the issue, and was present throughout the five re-engagements, I'd like to point out that, Tortuga, your Zoner Destroyer shouldn't be docked in New York, as that violates your ID.

I would agree with you if i had not annonced my entry the night before and no one
denied my request. As i said, I was there in a roleplay capacity with permission to enter. But i agree i did not ask permission to relaunch off of Manhattan. And if you were there you also should have noticed that i did not fire a single shot and
could have easily defended myself but that would not have fit into the emissary
role i was engaged in. Let's be honest about this, the [LN] captain that provoked
this went overboard and escalated the situation beyond reason. Even his commanding officer told him to back off after he noticed what was going on. And
seeing as how you were there, why don't you mention that ? What does it say
about a [LN] captain who destroyes a ship when he is told i will not fire back and
he does it 4 more times. As I said, there was no PvP I had permission to be there
when I pulled in the evening before. Section 3.2 was not violated. I request release
from prison, credits returned, equipment remounted and my record expunged.

I'm going to try and help you out with the rules a little bit, Tortuga. It seems you lack a clear understanding of what is allowed and what isn't. That's alright. The Disco community, in general, is happy to help all those willing to learn. I hope you are one of those.
First, you need to be aware of what your ID states. Zoner ID dictates that you cannot park your Destroyer on any house bases, except Zoner bases. Docking at Planet Manhattan is a violation of your ID. Bethlehem Station would be acceptable since that is a Zoner Base.
Secondly, it sounds as if you had some well thought out RP. That's wonderful. However, if an LN officer tells you do something while in Liberty space, and you refuse, you will be fired upon. Not firing back does not make you immune to the 2 hour rule. Stated simply, you will die and be pvp dead.
You should not have returned to the system in which you were killed. I'm not sure if the one that reported you tried to help you understand the rules better or not. To get a clearer understanding of what is and isn't allowed, I would suggest reading the rules here before getting out there again.
I have reread the rule. Perhaps relaunching from Manhattan into N.Y. space can
be conscrude as "comng back" to a system, I am not sure. I am not pigheaded
about this but I must tell you that I do feel wronged about what went down. I do
not remember the[LN] captain's name at this time but I will know it when I see it.
But regardless, he will alway be a "lower case" captain in my eyes.
I would like to point out that the 7 days have passed and I would like to bring my
crew home. They are getting grumpy and want to go shopping for the holidays.
