Hello, looking for answer from devs or players who tried this. Question is - after undocking from planets was changed so transports are moving backwards from planet so they practically never stuck now in mooring point (and get instakilled in atmosphere), does this mean that barges are now finally able to dock/undock safely from planets too? We don´t want to try it blindly and be stucked on planet forever because inforcard on barge still say to not make planetary landing at any circumstances. Thanks for info.
Notice - please, if you can refrain from "barges docking on planets are evil, kill them with fire" posts, that would be nice. Thanks

This doesn´t seem to be reliable test enough because planet atmosphere didn´t harm barge at all even if I tried hard planet diving on three different planets... Weird :-o

You'll get pretty much the same results in multiplayer.
As far as I'm aware, the issue has pretty much been fixed now. Since the Barge now undocks backwards, it is near-immune from that kind of things. I think. It certainly worked when I tried it.
As handy as having that little tweak to moor points was, it's getting reverted for update 5. It was causing a couple of unwanted side-effects, and until we can figure out a way to fix those, planet moors are going back to how they used to be before 87.
That also means undocking Barges from planets would once again become problematic/impossible.
