'Hoy. Say hey, we have to talk. Like, seriously. What the hell happened to you? What the hell happened as you expelled me from the Legion, which I do not, and I have to stress that fact, acknowledge in any way? All my time, despite the various drawbacks in my person, I have pursued with my actions the benefit for the Legion. I have tried to find my place, tried to integrate into the working social structure of the Legion. Which was not that easy. Not at all.
Given my background, my previous life, and the way I live my life to today, you very well knew who I am, and you knew the way I feel for the Legion, feel for you, feel for what I thought was our joint goal to reach. For the betterment of Liberty. For the libertonian people. For us. For the Legion. For a more worth living society.
I question you, what do you know about the lower class trying to survive? What a person actually is willing to give up, what a person is about to do to see the next day, what a person deals against own principles when it comes down to the sole fact of seeing the next sunrise?
As far as I can tell, you have been raised within a reasonable support, you never had to care about finding ways to pay for anything you would need for actually just surviving. The Coalition has a word for your kind. You are a Bourgeois.
I am a forgotten child. What do you know about the burdens I had to take in my life, who are you to judge over the rightfulness of my actions, my feelings, my behaviour?
I am loving the Libertonian Republic. Eventually, for sure actually, loving it more as you ever could. Just as any of your decisions are just decisions set upon others from above. They lack true emotion. All you will ever decide is nothing less than a cold, heartless, unwarmth conclusion. Born within the ramifications that have been given to you on your way through childhood, college and your social surroundings.
You tell me what I have done wrong. What have I done to deserve the treatment you have punished me with? All I ever did was to actually find ways to spread our horizon to find new ways, new ideas, new thoughts to fight what I thought was our mutual enemy.
By now, you seem to be that enemy. You have not acted any different as them. As the Navy. As the Government.
Would you have ever been as far down as I had been, living under the pressures and exclusion from the structures that the cooperatives and their society had put upon us, you likely would understand. You would understand that you cannot hold up to your very principles if you have to survive. And nothing more the Legions cause is by now. We are fighting for survival. Our support has dropped. And what was once written on our flags cannot be achieved anymore without actually harnessing all the means we got available at our hands.
And I got means at hand you cannot even imagine by your families rainbow-saint biography.
Yes. Yes I am not your storybook Legionnaire. I am not what you would want to print first page as propaganda material for our cause.
But I am what is needed to have this work.
You know that.
I know that.
And maybe not to the same degree, we both share the love for the Republic.
Why I was expelled?
Kisses,
- Ghost in her machine, Lieutenant Avril Parker
