This is pilot and captain Aces from the bridge of the Salvager Ramble On. We have completed our resupply at the local Junker stations, and are now orbiting Planet Cannish awaiting response communications from the station Castaway Bar and Grill. Recent patrols have reported Samura suppliers en route to the Station, which has been recently constructed without providing information and continues to operate without any established affiliation. This type of activity is concerning to the local population, and therefore we have inquired further as to the base's ownership.

A ship labeled SlugHauler, a DSE marked Train, was seen in Orbit around the station. When asked, we were provided information that he was in fact a part owner of the station, yet that the base is owned by or representative of the DSE. Despite repeated inquiries into the occupants political leanings or purpose however, we have been met with no real information and a series of circuitous answers. No attempt has been or is being made to establish an affiliation, or purpose behind the station, besides quote: "casual building fun". Due to the location of this station within an established Junker locale, this sort of unguided activity -which has shown already a willingness to employ and empower Kusari elements (such as a Samura Train "Samurai")- has already shown the capability to be an obtrusive and possibly destabilizing influence upon the region.

Due to these reasons we have requested in person of the Captain of the SlugHauler that a member of the Castaway Bar and Grill's ownership establish an official (neural net) communication stating an intended purpose and affiliation for this station within the hour. Both parties are currently aware of these terms, failure to comply will result in the implementation of security measures to ensure the best-interests of local Junkers. The representatives of the local Junkers await on the bridge of the Ramble On awaiting the establishment of diplomatic communications.

Greetings Junkers,
Please forgive us for no being more forthcoming with our intentions for this establishment. As the name states "Castaway Bar and Grill" we intend to open a restaurant and getaway location for those who want a good meal and a relaxing stay. We are Freelancers by heart, with no political ties or ambitions, our mission will be to provide good service and a living for us. Our station is far away from any jump holes and away from Junker bases, we have no intentions to detract or interfere with your business. The use of Samura ships to supply our base has been terminated. The base docking rights are open to all. We just want to be good neighbors with the local residents and the system owners.

Our plan was to build a level 2 core, with multiple storage pods, no weapon platforms, and a resort style hotel for weary travelers, with multiple levels of dining from short order to fine dining. After a discussion with one of your members tonight the level 2 core completion is being put on hold, and we will build storage pods instead, while waiting for your response. This is a small owner group, and we can say with certainty we pose no threat to the Junkers. With your resources our base would be ashes any time you deem it necessary. As stated earlier we just want to be good neighbors and work with our neighbors. We hope you will see us for what we are, businessmen just trying to make a living. Thank you for your consideration and we will await your response.

This attempt at diplomacy is the only chance at allowing a base, with no prior information or permission, to continue operation within the local area of Inverness. Despite our lack of information regarding your Owners background, intentions, or diplomatic standing, we had allowed an opportunity for diplomacy to grow under no hostilities. The stipulation of this time given to submit the information and diplomatic relations regarding such an endeavor was one simple thing-- the pausing of construction work upon the Stage 2 Core Module.

After a discussion with one of your members tonight the level 2 core completion is being put on hold, and we will build storage pods instead, while waiting for your response.

However, upon inspection not 24 hours after we have discovered that both the necessary Optronics Arrays (approximately 20,000) and Plasfoam Conduits (24,000) have been completely stocked and constructed. Work on the Stage 2 has not paused as promised above, in compliance with the terms of this diplomatic resolution. Therefore until further notice local patrols will intercede any suppliers attempting to bring materials to this offending base. While reaching a diplomatic solution may still be possible, this threat cannot be allowed to grow any further, and the further routing of supplies to the Castaway Bar and Grill will cease immediately-- whether voluntarily or otherwise. Local patrols have been given authorization to intercept any foreign suppliers operating within Inverness if found to be associating with this offending station.
