//That's right people, the Original Planetform faction is back for another go.

As one of the least appreciated NPC factions, with perhaps one of the most important jobs, Planetform needs love it has been neglected for a long time. More importantly, I need gobs and gobs of money and powertrading alone is boring. So, why not give 'er the ol' one two and revive one of the most beloved and cherished factions in the History of Discovery's corporate past.

Under the terms of a Bretonian charter, a cadre of Cambridge researchers and California consultants were given a challenge: Transform a planet from a cold, desert locale with a limited carbon dioxide atmosphere into an agricultural planet-within 400 years. Planetform was born. The company grew very slowly, dependent on the largess of the Bretonian Government for most of it's money.

Planetform had few enemies until 67 years ago, when the radical eco-terrorist group the Gaians formed within the research environments of Edinburgh's Gaia Planet and Cambridge University. The Groups amateurish efforts soon matured into a serious threat to Planetform operations throughout Bretonian space.

As of 820 A.S., with the Gallic Invasion, Planetform has seen a steady decline in it's profit margins and it's corporate cohesion. The corporation faces severe labour shortages, as many men and women have volunteered or been drafted during the war. The Loss of Perth Station and the Edinburgh system was a crippling blow, with no way of recouping it's interests. Many see Planetform as on the verge of collapse as it's expenditures now far outstrip it's profits.

Fortunately! A number of interested speculators investors, concerned about the corporation's future have taken up the reigns, eager to gut the company and squeeze as much profit as possible before it falls apart put Planetform Back on Track. Despite starting from a hopeless disadvantaged position, Planetform is front and center for a nose dive like a lawn dart corporate renaissance!

1. Mercilessly play god while cackling like a schoolyard bully Provide good, clean, environmentally conscious homes for all of Sirius' citizens Except Gallics through terraforming!
   
2. Embezzle corporate funds and silver profits before running off into the night Promote an Honest, Clean, Cheerful, Bretonian image to the rest of the world.
   
3. Put the screws to the Gaians Advertise the benefits to planetary reformation and do so in a socially and environmentally conscious manner.
   
4. Gather an insane bunch of rent-a-cops and try to blow up Perth to cover up corporate secrets When requested, assist the Good and Honorable Bretonian military in it's defense of the homeland, through moving wartime materials and assisting with our security department.

Employment Policy.

In order to meet it's need for Employees, Planetform has begun hiring non union workers from Liberty and the Border worlds. These complete psychopaths hard working citizens are considered expendible Planetform's future, earning scrip an honest day's pay and making new homes for Sirius' citizens.

Physical Assets

Due to the current wartime effort, much of Planetform's Fleet has been requisitioned for merchant marine use. While some examples of Bretonian ships are still used, the corporate fleet mainly uses Civilian and Liberty ships for corporate hauling.

//This iteration Planetform is meant to be a simple, somewhat light-hearted trading faction in comparison to many others. Mainly to entertain one another while powertrading, and maybe pull off some crazy pranks on the Gaians and Gallics like we did last time.

That isn't to say we should skimp on RP. Making Planetform interesting and breaking up the monotony of the trade runs is the name of the game (while making a buttload of cash in the process). Individual RP comes down to the discretion of the individual, but it should be enough to not consider it -too- hardcore.
