I guess I didn't realize what a strong part bureaucracy plays within Universal's contract structure, as I was hoping this request might have been addressed at least within a few hours after I made it while I saw what seemed like 6 [*USI*] vessels right in the California system and available to assist me.
As it stands now, our current need for Hull Segments is on hold as we have filled that ourselves. This doesn't mean we will not need them in the near future, but for the present, we no longer need more.
However, we are also currently in need of the following: 35, 000 units of Optronic Arrays 25, 000 units of Plasfoam Conduits 25,000 units of Nanomembrane Filters
If you are interested in negotiating a price for delivering any of those items, we're certainly willing to listen.

Optronic Arrays: 1655 Credits/Unit
PlasFoam Conduits: 1080 Credits/Unit
Nanomembrane Filters: 1685 Credits/Unit
Please let me know if these prices meet your budget if not we can see what we can do to provide a better price.

It would seem that due to excellent diligence on behalf of our own staff and transport captains, we are currently now only in the need of about 48k Optronic Arrays. We would be willing to buy them from you at a rate of $1600/ea.
If you find that acceptable, you may notify your transports to begin shipping at once.
I have directed my transport pilots to start moving the requested goods to your base, and to post the delivery logs here as they drop the shipments off.

I calculated what was left from the total amount you requested, but it came to my attention that you may have only needed 2400 more units. I hope the shipment is acceptable.
