Good evening, my name is Jacob Wells of the Interspace Commerce. We may not have had the most active presence within Liberty as of recently, however, there have been a few events which has come to our attention.
The event that happened recently that gained our interest, was the conflict between Deep Space Engineering and the ALG.
Now, over time our own profits have begun to fall due to the many wars happening through Sirius. As an insurance company, a war is good for a short amount of time, however once they become extended as they have? Profits begin to ride on a steady decline. An example of this, being the Bretonian and Gallic war. Another, being the recent embargo put in place by Kusari. And lastly, and most importantly, being removed from Rhienland from.. Excuse my words, failure of a recent president.
At this point, we have put in much thought in what should be done in this situation, and the number one method which sticks out, is Rhienland. Their current state being how it is, the only way the economy can go is up.
I have reviewed the situation the house is in with Liberty as well, and am rather displeased with the relations to the Rhienland house itself. It seems like a 'cold war' from my own standpoint.
In light of this, we have decided to propose a rather.. risky offer to both repair relations with the Rhienland government, through the repairs of the House itself. Actions like this, if we are indeed allowed to go in and do such, will as a side-product increase relations with Liberty itself. The companies I have in mind, are both Deep Space Engineering knowing full well what capacities they have in repairs, and Ageira due to the expertise of Lane-networks.
I purpose, put bluntly, that we offer to aid Rhienland with the repairs that they need, most especially from the lane-networking system to the bases which have faced deterioration. This being done under the supervision of a Rhienland cooperation, which I believe DHC would jump at the chance to make profits of their own.
This however, requires both of your help. I would like to hear your thoughts on the matter.
There are more details to be had, although that will be discussed in private if you both are interested in the idea.
This is certainly an interesting proposition, a bold one at that.
I'll get straight to the point; Rheinland is not a pleasant place
to be and further more our safety is a major priority working
even near the borders with that House. Ever since we were
told to evacuate our personnel from Bonn and your company
was forced out of New Berlin our business has waned and I can
only imagine the disarray the entire network would have now
succumbed too.
Reconstructing a House we are at war with is not something I
am particularly interested in, you would especially take note of
the conflict Deep Space Engineering and the ALG have over
mere scrap. Something solid has to be done in order for your
ambitions to come to fruition, if injecting finance and offering aid
to reconstruct them is your way to bring peace, then I'm
interested but only after you can guarantee my pilots won't be
in any undue risk.
You have my interest, just make sure you get that peace you need.
Hello, I appreciate your concern, although I can confidently say that the corporations which will be working with the project will have no physical.. danger so to speak. I am confident that deals can be arranged if it comes down to it.
I understand that the situation with yourselves and ALG is not the best right now, however that is subject to change if we indeed begin working on a project of this nature. I've studied the economy, although it has remained stable with the DHC and ALG working within Rhienland space, it is still quite low. A repair offer would indeed be a way to boost peace in my hopes, if their government agrees to give us a chance. This will put us in a situation to ask ALG to be perhaps a little more.. forgiving, and try not to grab things like they have in the past, as I can see due to experiences with your own corporation. At least what was made public to me.
However, if we do not get the answer that we are looking for, the plan will be ditched. We are not running to get ourselves hurt either, which extends to all of the companies that will be encompassed in the offer.
I can give you my assurances. I will merely wait for the response from the other party this transmission is being broadcasted to, and I will begin shortly afterwards. I will keep you up to date.
As stated by mister Doe previously, this is quite the interesting suggestion. Indeed, times are tough for us now that Kusari is giving our government sass, and the wealth of raw materials in Rheinland are all but out of our reach.
You have my interest as well. However, we are concerned of the costs. Will Ageira be footing the bill for the proper repair of the, more than likely, highly damaged lanes and their components? Or is this the cost being covered in another way?
Either way, getting back into Rheinland would be fantastic.
The Interspace Commerce has managed to do business for a while, under the circumstances of creating a reserve store for any large-scale actions which would be pursued. While we conduct our business as usual, we have managed to generate a fund which would go to a project such as this one.
This credits solution however, will only be put into place once we are sure that our profit will be in the positives as well. If it looks like things are a plus, we contact you at a later date to work out the well known issue that you have brought up.
If you have any more concerns, you have our channel.
