Dear Heidi of the Liberty Rogues,
The first thing I would like to say is that the event that I will share with you did not start with me but was the entire fault and stupidity of the attacker of which wore the ID of the Liberty Rogues. I did not in any way plan for the events to take place as they did but was merely doing what anyone would do in a situation like this.
Allow me to make things a little bit more clear.
I was traveling in Kepler when I was stopped by a bardgest. He did not carry the tag of the LR- so I do not hold any grudge to you and your men, but rather am slightly worried about the demand he gave me to hand over some money to him. I had warned him not to cause harm to me and asked for an apology, but instead I had Nova after Nova fired at me. I fired back to take him off my tail and he got too close and killed himself in the blast while taking off my shield and thruster and a few guns.
Now I will not make any drastic accusations, and the man has been taken to a rogue base and left there, even though he was struggling... I did my part and left him some credits for him to get a new ship. Not for his sake but to show I do not mean any harm to the rogues.
He was also carrying with him an interesting piece of cargo. I would like to know if you would be interested in the find, seeing the man clearly did not have a straight enough mind to perceive what he had found. I have this prisoner captain located at the AFC base and tied up, ready for transporting him to your desired location if you would like to interrogate him and do whatever it is you do to captains such as these.
I have the man blindfolded to not rat he was ever on the base. I don't want him to sequel its location. My men would have torn him apart but I see best to hand him over some some more... experienced people.
I await confirmation for the prisoner to be transported where you need him. I do not apologize for defending my transport from such a shameful attack, and frankly the man shot and killed himself. Probably being too drunk. I rather did what I can to take him back to a rogue base where he can settle down and gave him enough to go on with his life.
Although I find this news somewhat concerning, under no circumstance should this barghest
in question have ever stopped you. Especially for such a unreasonable demand,
to ask into your own business like that.
Let's just say I turn a blind eye to rogues who have the ignorance to disobey the Code of Conduct.
You have my complete blessing to do what you need to do in order to continue your business.
To the matter at hand I understand you have a Gunboat Captain stuck on your base.
Allow me to take him away for you. In fact I'll even give you a tip for your efforts.
Let's just keep this one between you and me, eh?
I can't guarantee his safety, but I can guarantee this only strengthens our relationship as -Business- Partners.
