I'd personally like to see RoS revived in a Core like style, with all their stuff being opened to the public and perhaps a new rewrite. The assets look good, better than most of the other stations we have in Disco at the moment, so why not open it as a public faction?
(Or was this already discussed and I'm just reopening old wounds?)
We will be discussing what to do with the faction internally, though at the moment we're leaning towards just closing the faction down for good and having the system and assets delegated for something else. RP implications for this are yet to be determined.
It was sad when the Reapers lost officialdom. The Coalition had lost a worthy foe and an interesting part of our history... Plus the guys in RoS were decent enough folks who enjoyed a good fight. XD

+1
Was some of the best encounters when I was in SCRA, RP wise and PvP. Gonna miss them if they are gonna be removed.

No no, People like RoS coming back, It was something good.
You can ignore reality but you can not ignore consequences of ignoring reality
Quote:Edit: Looking at the system again, the idea spurred that it could also be turned into a something like a general piracy hub; something like Omega from Mass Effect: a location for all kinds of general smugglers, pirates, slavers, and mercs...
That's kinda what Barrier Gate in Coronado is supposed to be already, just fyi.
Wouldn't hurt to have another, I suppose.

We were talking about it on Skype, Osama... Few days ago. RoS is incredibly broken and opening it to public would be something like 'public' Hellfire. Like breaking broken lore etc.
A Public Reapers of Sirius would be a bad idea. I liked the Reapers of Sirius when they were able to easily control their ranks and lore, it made them much more capable and actually better in terms of administration. Opening it up would lead to lulwutters and idiots abusing their tech and ID's for stupid reasonings. It's best to simply leave it lie if the former faction members do not wish to continue onwards.
