Barrier Gate Station:
Hanger 2, William Walker was looking at the Serenity class transport they just recently purchased. He turned to his best friend of 25 years, James David and said
"Well James, I think we've done it. We made the first step in our adventure."
"I agree, thats the best we could do with the license we have. I just wished we could use something more with a bigger cargo hold. And I still think its a bad idea of not mounting guns on it." Said James.
"Why would we need guns? it really against on what we stand for, and that is helping people out there. I mean how would guns help them? I don't want to anything to jeopardize that. How do think it would look if a relief transport is armed to the teeth?"
"I guess you're right William. It's just that I don't want to see you there unprotected."
"Well we're mounting one of the better shields out there so, that would be sufficient protection."
"I just wish I could go out there with you"
"So do I but I need somebody to stay here and do the legwork for the gathering of supplies and donations. Plus we need more volunteers."
"Speaking of which, have you already send the communication to Deep Space Engineering?"
"Yes James, I already sent it about an hour ago. Hopefully they will respond soon. I'm going to give them about a day or two to respond since we need to get this going soon."
"And what if they don't respond to your communication? what then?" asked James.
"Well" William was thinking, "I heard that the Junkers are also good at ship modifications. Rumors says that even better that DSE. I might try to talk to them."
"Oh by the way, we also need to think of renting cargo space in one of the bases. I'm still searching on where would be the best location to store our supplies and more economical for us since we don't have unlimited funds."
"Ok, I will defer to your judgement on that one James, Let me know if you want me to talk to the owners"
"Got it. Let grab a few drinks by the bar to celebrate. Nothing else much we could do for now but wait."
"I totally agree, lets celebrate."
