'Ello, there, Jimmy 'ere.
Nothin' really special to report, I just updated a few bases on our list. Phoenix is now sellin' something, I added Section 8, a new open to all station in Kusari and... well, deleted records for Solitaire. I supplied Phoenix again, report 'ere. During that, I witnessed rather interestin' encounter.
As Jimmy has said, we made a deal with the baby Nomad, we will see to it's safe journey home in return for information.
Considering Nomads cannot truly be killed, he would have made it home regardless of whether we would assist him or not,
He didn't really need our help, but convincing the alien that he did has given me vital information which I will share with you, so don't shove any weapon in my face yet.
What I learned:
There are Nomads originating from within Liberty itself. And I got a pretty good picture of the place too.
Apparently the Nomads being born, or made here are not fully connected to the mindhive in the Omicrons, which is why they retain a higher level of individualism.
They did not yet receive the information to be hostile to humans, which has allowed me and Jimmy to reason with this particular Nomad.
From this, it is safe to conclude that if the Nomads are not allowed to fully merge with the hive mind out in the Omicrons, OR if the link can be severed, even in adult, fully developed bodies, they could actually develop individual traits as well as any human.
If this is possible, then it means that some Nomads may actually seek genuine relationships with humans, instead of just murdering us.
But this is just my own personal studies that I have conducted, I have yet to prove this so let's not get ahead of ourselves here.
I went to Liberty to find the system that the morph has described.
How many times did I repeat myself saying we need to hurry up and take measures to ensure our safety and profit's well being? I cannot stress that enough.
The situation gets worse by the day.
I entered New York system and what I see is a Liberty Dreadnought attacking Newark Station.
5th fleet was rushing to catch two LSF members, both in Order gunboats.
One of the LSF had not only Nomad droppings aboard, but also 14 live, infected humans, my radar just lit that ship with Nomad life signs all over it.
The 5th was able to destroy both vessels after which they neutralized the dreadnought.
I want you to pay close attention here:
There were alleged LSF members, carrying live, infected humans into the heart of Liberty.
The Navy put them down, but what if they had succeeded in doing whatever they were planning to do with those infected ones?
I asked LPI for limited access of satellite images days ago so that I may look for a solar system that looks like the one the morph has described, but they did not bother to answer.
I asked John Sadner of the 5th fleet, a person I have worked with in the past for the same thing, he said he couldn't give me access.
When I confronted him about the Nomads, he claimed that they are aware of the situation and are working on it, but after that he said that Nomads do NOT originate from Liberty.
These people must think I'm so gullible.
It seems like humans everywhere live their lives completely oblivious to what is happening, they either don't want to know, or are too stupid to care for their immediate safety.
If they don't consider this new Nomad threat that is growing absurdly fast as reason enough to cooperate with us, then we must turn our attention to...other possibilities.
As I said, if the infected have reached the heart of Liberty, then it won't be long until we will have to deal with the Nomads.
Colonel Redfire, one of the reasons the location of the Warship Faro is encrypted is because we are conducting several classified research missions into the deep Omicrons in order to study the Nomads in greater detail because, like you, we believe measures must be taken before they expand any further. Yet, you may have single-handedly stepped into paramount information regarding the nomads. You have indeed been doing imperative work.
*Aetius pauses for a brief second*
I am willing to give you a hand and encourage you to pursue this information to wherever it leads you to. I can't help you directly, but from now on, you will have any resource, material or human, you deem necessary to push on.
You are free to come to the Warship Faro and collect anything that might prove usefull, you may also request anything and I will personally guarantee you get it.
Good Job Colonel, see you soon
*Aetius gives a signal to the crew members to cut the transmission*
Now that you mention it, you might be able to find something for us.
While in Omicron Lost, the guy who showed us the iridium deposits warned us that the Nomads have an "azurite reactor" or something like that, and warned us to stay away from it as it is supposed to be extremely dangerous.
Since you're already in the deep Omicrons, maybe you can look into this and see what you can dig up about the azurite
reactor while I find the place where these morphs are coming from?
If you do happen across it, whatever it is, take any precautions necessary to make sure no one gets hurt.

'Ello, lads, Jimmy 'ere.
Another borin' report 'ere, so don't say I didnt warn ya. I finished this weeks supply of Phoenix. Then I went to deliver some thing's fer the Hacker job and I hafta say, I really hope it'll be worth it. Smuglin' lanthanum from Leeds was easy, but bringin' Paladium from Akabat was a pain in the arse. Not to mention it's an Order system. Cargo manifests fer this deliveries are in our project sheet. Oh... and... Kalh from Amenhotep kinda.. contacted me 'bout me being out there, but it was only after I was on me way out with the last shipement... and he wasn't really angry 'bout that too, only told me to send a comm ahead the next time. I guess bringin' three full cargo bays of Black Market Munitions to their base was a good idea after all, hehe.
Colonel Redfire reporting in to mention that the search mission has been successful.
I don't even know how to start.
If someone would tell me what I am about to report, I would tell the man to get his head checked as he might have schizophrenia.
I wouldn't believe a word of it myself if I didn't have the evidence right here.
I have been in Liberty the last days, looking for this system that the Nomad burnt in my brain.
Why do I say burnt? Because every single night I spent there, I kept seeing that vision again and again, each time with a increase in intensity.
Every time I would go to sleep, I will see this alien structure, and there would be this indescribable, humming sound in the background.
I couldn't make sense of it in the beginning, but as the vision increased in intensity, I could make out words which, prepare for it because it will sound like I am going mad: I could hear a sentence repeating itself, over and over again.
"The emerald city is made of amethyst. There is a wicked witch to the north"
The last few nights, I would wake up with intense headaches and nose bleeds.
The last night it got so strong that I must've fainted or something because I woke up in a medical lab on California Minor with a 250 credits bill on my name.
After I woke up, I had this strange feeling at the back of my head, I kept thinking about that sentence, and I was seeing that alien structure everywhere I looked, sometimes as a fleeting shadow, sometimes at the back of my eyes, sometimes as a reflection on a window, I couldn't get rid of it.
I don't really know how to describe it, there are a lot of I don't know's in this report, so yeah, that tingling feeling at the back of my spine was sort of telling me that I had to go -somewhere-.
Sitting on California Minor talking to those people was not going anywhere, so I might as well hop into my ship and start looking for this system the old, suicidal fashioned way.
I followed that stingy feeling, which has led me to a barely explored system named Kansas.
I didn't have to look much before I saw a weird nebula, something was telling me that I might find what I was looking for in there.
If you thought this report is weird, grab a chill pill because the bananas are about to hit the balloons.
The nebula was made of an unidentified matter.
My scanner could not pick up from what it was made, as you can see in the evidence presented above.
It wasn't composed of any known substance but it didn't affect my ship in any way other than messing with my sensors, a lot of nebulae do that.
Weird? It's getting weirder.
As I was flying, the nebula was periodically lit up by lightning bolts, something caught my eye during one of the flashes,
As I approached the object, it turned out to be a Nomad gate.
The gate appeared to be severely damaged, but still working to a degree because I went through.
And on the other side, eureka! The system I have been looking for all this time was revealed to look just like the Nomad had described it!
But I was stuck there, the Nomad gate I came through was too damaged to allow return travel, it was a one way ticket.
Immediately, things were starting to happen, apparently the whole system was within a nebula of I repeat, unidentified matter.
What kind of substances could still exist in nature, or even synthetic that no one has yet identified in the current year?
The radiation in the system was enormous too, my ship suddenly became a meal that could literally cook itself.
You can see why I didn't stuck around too much, but while I was there, I tried getting some readings, with little success.
My navmap would not display anything, and when I checked to see the location of the system on the Sirius Sector map, apparently the map derped out.
It showed the nebula that was hiding the system, but it didn't recognize it as a part of Sirius sector, the navmap thought the nebula is a whole other sector in it's own right.
As can be seen in the evidence, the only other noteworthy thing was the asteroid field, which contained even more of that strange matter.
How many times did I say "get ready for it"? keep doing that.
In the asteroid field, I have found what seemed to be jump holes, leading to all major houses, and even Order space!
They acted much like the Nomad gates we have discovered in Iota.
KEEP THIS INFORMATION TO YOURSELVES!
At least for the time being until General Aetius can make any sense of it.
While I was flying through the field, I also found 3 weird structures, Nomad in nature, these were identified as being hostile, but didn't seem to react to my presence.
They contain some sort of energy.
Could these be the azurite reactors we were warned about? I don't know. They don't look like anything I have seen before.
On the north side of the field, I found even more of those Nomad lanes, although these ones were inactive, and they were leading to yet another jump hole, however I could not get a reading on where it might lead so I decided not to jump through.
Finally, the prize of the mission: I have actually found the main Nomad structure that was giving me all the headaches.
As you can see in the evidence, it IS emitting some sort of signal, it is detectable but so far no luck deciphering it.
Apparently this structure was neutral, and it even registered as having a docking bay.
I was not going to spend any more time in that dreaded radiation, so...I docked inside of it.
I could not believe my eyes, there were actually human made structures inside, a place where I could dock my ship and even a bar!
There were people there, live people. From all walks of like, Order agents, Rogues, Golden Chrysanthemums...you name it, they were there.
I don't know whether they were infected, I assume they would have tried to kill me or infect me if they were, instead they just looked at me funny, not a very social bunch.
I was there all on my own, among crazies who were living for who knows how long on a Nomad structure in the middle of nowhere, I wasn't going to try and get information out of them the way I usually do, so I had to leave,
We had reports of Nomads popping out in Liberty space out of nowhere, right? Well, now we know how.
I jumped through the hole which registered as having an exit in Liberty and I found myself in New York! No so far from planet Manhattan itself.
This is where they come from!
I don't know whether those jump holes I found were natural or Nomad made, but if Nomads can make jump holes then there is no way in hell we can stop them from invading, at least not with our current knowledge.
Can we do anything to prevent an invasion? I think not. But now we know how they can infiltrate our colonies.
So far I've produced more questions than answers.
Maybe that azurite reactor has the answers we seek.
I was informed by mister Voclain about the contract we have accepted to deliver those ship parts to Freeport 5, I thought it was a shady deal at best so I tagged along, to make sure our boys are ok.
We joined up with Millennium for the escort for a while, but some trade lane incident happened and pushed him to superluminal speeds, he disappeared on us.
I couldn't escort Voclain during the entire mission, because of stuff I had no control over, but the route was fairly safe, at least for the duration of my escort.
Mister Voclain can report more on that.
During the escort mission, I was contacted by an individual who wished to join us, I directed him to the Holo Net to make a request, and mister Xalo directed him to our recruitment channel.
After viewing his application, I accepted him within our ranks.
I hope Millennium is ok. Haven't seen him over a hundred years.

'Ello, there, Jimmy 'ere.
I did a lot of suplin' but that ain't goin' to surprise ye anymore is it? So I'll let that stuff out. What might be interesin' though... when I was flyin' from Minerva to Phoenix, I met this bloke near Barrier Gate. He asked me to take three IMG lads somewhere safe. 'Twas a lil' suspicios, but scans were clean, so I took 'em into Firefly and transported 'em to Freeport 4. I'll make comm to IMG so they can pick those poor lads up.

'Ello there, lads.
So, after I saw Redfire's report, I remembered these words from the captain I met some time ago...
Contact Wrote:[17.08.2016 16:18:30] Captain: The nomads have the ability to create jump holes artificially. If you search long enough for it, you may will find a system that contains those jump holes that instantly transport you to the capital worlds.
And I decided to go look to the places where Colonel went. It took some time to find the Hole to Kansas, but I eventually managed it. Immediately after jumpin' through, I saw the nebula colonel spoke about. But the nebula wasn't the only thing in the system, and since Redfire mentioned quite heavy radiation in the next system, I decided to wait a bit with me trip there, and explore Kansas a little more. After all we can always use a good map of an remote system, right?
I'll spare ya the boring details. The gate back to Magellan is in sector 4C, There are two planets, each with one moon. Hospitable lookin' Wichita at B/C 5/6 and a gas giant at E3. Then, there's a jump gate to Humboldt at C/D 6/7, I plan to explore that system later. At C/D 3/4 I found the second weirdest thing in the system (the first one being the nebula). Wreck of Junction Station. I cannot dig up much on Neural net, just that the wreck was already there, when Liberty first ofiicialy surveyed the system...
Well, and now the nebula itself. I dinnae understand how colonel found the gate so fast. Sensors are useless in there, and flyin' just with yer eyes makes it possible to not crash into the asteroids in there... but ya still can't find anythin'. Luckilly I found an abandoned ship there. It's computer had some info on an anomaly nearby... so I used the fighter as an anchor, and ploted a route that kept the ship in the middle of a sphere. I slowly increased me distance and then, in one moment, it was there. Damaged jumpgate, similar to the one we saw in Omicron Minor.
At that point, I decided to go back to Magellan and search the Neural net a little for some ship that could withstand the radiation a little better, but still was small enough fer me alone to fly it.
