Hello folks. For the past week or so I have been discussing with the folks at the Hogosha Association about that certain part we haven't explored much of our portfolio of activities in the Hogosha, that of sports gambling and racing. (you could argue, racing and Hogosha? Not as far fetched as you could imagine )
Thing is, we have this lovely but unused racetrack in the pristine and remote Tottori system. I have been trying to plan for a race (or series of races) to occur sometime soon, but as you can guess, I have no idea how they are usually set up.
The rp concept would be: The Hogosha Association (or a syndicate of it) would organize and sponsor the race. Certain partnerships with some wealthy businessmen (read: Samura and IC peeps) would spice the betting and rewards with some good amounts of cash, as well a certain evil... creature that mentioned its interest in hanging around, for unknown nefarious reasons.
The races would be open to everyone that can afford to be in front of the Hogosha hosts and not be shot. For the others, well, I guess a simple disguise and acting discreetly could work too.
----------------
Starting out simply, here are some ideas for the race:
Title: Tottori Circuit Tournament (name suggestions wanted)
Location: Tottori System
Type: Lightweight Class Race - Last one is out elimination.
Date: Every 2 weeks, on weekend or something.
Rules:
-Light fighters only, no guns active/equiped. CM, CD, and mines allowed.
-Last one out: at each round, the slowest racer is taken out. Race ends when the fastest racer beats all competition.
-At least one Hogosha representative will be on sight to referee the race.
Prize: x amount for each round fastest racer, big prize for the final winner.
(example: 5 Mil per round, 30 or 40 Mil for race winner.)
Sponsors:
To be announced
Staff Team:
The Hogosha Association
The Tottori Bōsōzoku Gang
Schedule and periodicity: Wednesdays evening or in the Weekend. Hopefully every 2 weeks, with the other weeks for practice runs.

To those who have some experience on the stuff, let me know what needs to be expanded or simplified.
To those eager to participate, please let me know so as to plan a schedule for the races.
