When they changed GB guns, I died a little inside.
First things first.
LFs didn't need to have their guns changed. At ALL. When the new LF guns were introduced, light fighters were tossed around and eventually they became the weird, wonky things they are today. And STILL not a lot of people use them.
I can understand the general buffs to fighter guns in general, as snub fights did take a while.
But what I am saying is, GB guns were pretty balanced out in .86. In .87, they turned Solaris into some gun which had the ability to not only wreck snub fleets and come back for more, but also be able to wreck larger ships like GBs.

After 4.87 final, this is the kind of stuff we'll be able to run trials about, in fact trials about anything. The reason the final update is taking a while is that it contains quite a lot of things, and with the small number of developers we have that are also busy in rl, such things take time.
This is why the development process will change after it's out and both the devs and the players will be happy about our new process.
