Hello to you,
My name is Desmond Noble. I'm the current leader of Gladius. We're a task force within the Hellfire Legion, a group you probably didn't expect to hear from anytime soon. The reason I'm contacting you is pretty simple, and I'm sure you know the facts. Gallia has invaded. It has begun capturing Leeds via ground strikes, and has displaced many citizens. Not only is the integrity of Bretonia in danger, but we've found ourselves under attack by these ruthless foreigners within the borders of our home. We come to you today offering our aid in your time of need.
The Legion is willing to provide a safe haven for refugees within our territory, that have been displaced by the war. A temporary colony that will be receiving a constant supply of food, water, and medical assistance can be established, for civilians, and the injured. An extraction point can be established, where freighter craft under fighter escort can move in silently. We can provide munitions and general supplies to your people planet side, while extracting wounded and civilians. Gladius itself can provide limited military assistance, though nothing in the ways of a fleet. We can prepare several strike teams to deploy planet side on Leeds to provide aid.
With war looming over all of our heads, now is the time to stand together, rather than drift steadily apart. I await your response.
My sincerest appologies for the delay. I'm sure you can work out that the war effort has our attention drawn all hours of the day, but we have used the time we had to discuss this.
I will admit, you are correct. A missive from yourselves was not something I anticipated. Unfortunatly, it also places me in a difficult position. As I'm sure you are aware, Liberty is aiding Bretonia greatly in this war, and it is with their help that we have continued to resist Charles' oppresive reign for so long. Your group, one which could be described as a political movement, could place Bretonia on unsteady ground with Liberty. Something I'm you understand is not desirable for me, nor the other members of the War Cabinet. This means Bretonians in your space is a definative no.
However, unity in times like these is something we must be grateful for. Munitions and general supplies for our forces planetside is very much appreciated. I am sure Major General Williams will be grateful, along with the rest of the resistance under his command. Co-ordinate your ground efforts with him. He'll check in as he can. He's busier than all of us.
Now, whilst I have expressed my concern for civilians in your space, this does not mean you cannot extract them from the war zone. Those who are willing to fight will do so, but those that need extracting will flock to you. Get them to a neutral zone, I'll see to the Merchant Navy picking them up.
Finally, your note about strike teams. Assistance on the ground is always appreciated. You must, once again, contact Major General Williams for this. Leeds is under his unflinching command. I wouldn't recommend a better man for the job. I shall await your response.
On behalf of Her Majesty the Queen, and her People in the Realm of Bretonia,
Fleet Admiral Michelle O'Brian Commander of Her Majesty's Armed Forces - Spatial & Nautical Division

A bit of concern on our part, when our freighters were denied docking access to the marker, as well as several other stations within your house. Whether or not this was intended doesn't matter, though it prevents us from doing our part in the war.
