This is something I've fought about for a while - why not give special mining bonuses to teams of miners and haulers that are inRP naturally acting such.
For example - GMG gets x5 for He-3 mining, however if a GMG ID'ed miner would mine into a Kishiro ID'ed transport - the multiplier will now be x6
This I believe will promote not just the occasional group roleplay, but group roleplay between factions that should be allies (economic or otherwise).
Because having 5 people mining is already a bonus in by itself.

What I meant that because of lack of uniqueness, or if you wish, being "lower rated" many factions suffer from extreme lack of activity or representation in-game.
What I suggest would let these factions a reason to even be active. For example lets take Kishiro, from my previous example (and yes I am biased as hell in that matter) - what reason does one have to fly as Kishiro?
Kishiro can only mine in a profitable manner He-3, and even then you have GMG that surpass them in the matter.
As a trading faction (which it should be!) Kishiro has no advantage over GMG either - GMG can use all the same ships Kishiro can use, and Kishiro doesn't hold any favorable reputation standground. If anything the contrary, as GMG's Quasi-Lawful status makes them liked in certain unlawful circles.

This can be valid to more underplayed factions, maybe it should only be applicable to the official ID as Snak3 pointed me out in skype that will likely only end up being abused by indies making cashcows.
I'd rather see the mining bonus work only for filling up other transports.
In other words, weed out solo miners and force them to take up mining as group effort- as it should be.

@OP: I like the idea. It might give shipping faction a little edge over those mining factions that can also fly 5kers. Interfaction rp and coordination would likely improve roleplay.
@Spazzy: We do not have to weed out solo-miners. It's good to have them as a rather constant group of immobile, easy targets for pirac interaction.
