The past few weeks, a distant and unknown to us entity, sent threats, demands and ultimatums. They claimed that a large portion of Sirius Sector should adhere to their laws and demanded tribute. In time they would demand more things, destroying our valued and precious neutrality that we had worked so far to achieve, but also our independence. We refused.
With this letter we would like to inform you that the Core is going to attack Star Space Port. Fighters have already fired a few times, raising the station's shields. We have prepared ourselves as best as we could.
Of course we do not wish to endanger more Zoners. This misfortune should not befall to more of us. Subsequently if you are intercepted by Core vessels, especially in Omega-9 system, please inform them that vessels carrying the [SSP]- tag originate from Star Space Port and you are not involved with us in any way.
In these dire times for the Zoners of Star Space Port we humbly ask for your prayers and positive thoughts. I will also read to the crew any supportive messages that you might want to send to us.
