"Oh but you misunderstand. For what I have to give you, thanks to some certain stuff you decided to do, isn't the most friendly of things."
Holding the stone up again. "A broken bond. If this thing were to go active again and attempt to re-establish the full connection, it's merely going to start draining you. Of course, that'll be done on both sides. Although to us, it'll feel as if a tiny pinprick has prodded them. As for you, i'm not too sure it'll be that light. You're small compared to them. Damageable. Organic stuff really doesn't seem to react well to it."
Sliding her hands into her pockets. "Before you try to start accusing me, remember that you're the one who visited the guardian in the first place. If you buzzed off at the time, you probably would have been treated as the other thousands of people who try to assert their dominance over the other. Shame you decided to get involved. If you ever decide that you want to fix things, talk to us. If that's not the case however, we're going to have to hold the metaphorical gun to your head.
Of course, if you disagree with this method, we have much more brutal ways of going about it."
//*This color is horrible. I'm so sorry.
"Yourself isn't to blame, things happen in this universe that i even look back on and think its miniscule, i have enough guns to my head as it is for now, just depends which one gets to pull the trigger." He starts twiddling his fingers. "And you could say it was Kinda my fault for visiting the guardian."
He then holds his hands together. "But fine, i want to make sure i get to finish these 18 years fully. As i am, together with her." He gives a slight nodding motion towards the card on the table near Aelita "What do i need to do to Fix the damage?"
"You value your life. Good. You aren't suicidal, dear lord the last person who was like that was a huge pain to deal with.." Shaking her head slowly. "There is merely one thing that you're going to have to do dear."
Holding up one finger. "First, I believe should be straight-forward. Don't affiliate with us. While doing your work or whatever the hell you do, you best not set foot into what could be considered negative. If you fight another one of us, you might find unhappy people bringing upon your end. Be wary, we're going to be watching carefully. Remember, you're murdering living beings. Humans are the same thing. Of course I don't really give a damn about going over the philosophies, that's the others job."
"Oh. And you owe the Snows a favor. I just wanted to kill you. It's nice and simple that way. They put up a good argument however. Best ask what the hell they want from you on your way out. Who knows. They're smart enough to perhaps even pull you out of that suicide stuff you were talking about. With a catch." Raising a hand, slowly walking away.
He watches her as she walks away."................ Bloody 'ell." He stands up, stretching his arms behind him. "Mphmmm! Okay......"
He then looks at card that held 'Zeal' placed on the table "Come on, lets move." Almost instantly levitating slightly off the table, it again projects the female figure. "So, how did it go?" "Pffft~ She wanted to kill me, but apparently I'm useful again.""Sounds like work."
'Zeal' looks at Stone who is still reading her book, with the earphones plugged in. Quickly reaching for the pocket containing the memory stick, he pulls it out and hands it to 'Zeal' "Corrupt & Format this would you? I don't need it anymore." Holding the memory stick, twirling it between her fingers. "This the Hunt files?""Yeah" he responds giving a slight nod. "Okay, hold on, this won't take a moment." Her hands glow as she grips the stick in her hand, doing something to it. "Why now?""He's dead, hes not coming back, never shall, never hope so. I was a Pawn in his damn games.""Were you never a Pawn in every game you played?""Not as submissive..." Her hands start to glow dimmer, almost at the end of its process. "point." Her hands stop glowing, opening to show the memory stick intact physically, but obviously there have been virtual changes to its data.
She looks up from the table and stares around the room. "So... what now? Do we just go?"
Jack from earlier returns to the doorway, his arms behind his back. "Agh.. Sorry about that, she sometimes isn't the easiest to deal with. I see you're still intact."
Entering the room fully, standing in front of Geoff. "I suppose you get the gist of the situation right now. There are plenty of things I can say right now, but i'm not the most excited to affiliate and all. I'm not very sure Ivy would like you very much." Letting out a quiet sigh, shaking his head.
"Before you leave. I understand that you have some sort of position within the BDM. What more, I have no idea. Didn't research further. Although it's enough. There is a concept which I would like for you to push. The Core. Try to take interest in them, attempt to push the BDM that way as well. It's not exactly harmful to the group since the Core has some things they can offer for a potential alliance of sorts. Help them out with a few things. More specifically, help them deal with the Order around their space. You've taken a stance out in the Omicrons. I'd like you to solidify it." Pausing to take a breath. "It helps push on a few numbers to suppress the Order, while you're able to get something in return from working deals out with the Core. Something you should consider."
"Or if you don't like it, you can go back to Izumi. She'll give you something a bit less fair to do."
Waving a hand slightly. "At any rate. That's all I really want from you. If you ever need contact again, do some vague transmission on the Neural Net, we generally watch that sort of thing. Just don't encrypt it. We're not super-hackers. At least not when it comes to matter like these.
Questions, concerns, requests to walk your dog while you're away?" Smirking slightly.
"Oh~ Well, its already being discussed between someone else in the Buro regarding the arranged alliance with the Core, and its pretty obvious with the Order having a few skirmishes against us across Frankfurt and some areas of the Omicrons that inevitably that the Buro were heading down that path already." He shuffles his feet a bit. "I mean hell, i got close to Golanski's fiance once... don't know if they're still together, i mean, he's only shot me when i've been in Iota and Minor...""We tried to sell him pop tarts i think.." Still sitting on the table, kicking her feet back and fourth, 'Zeal' brushes her Hair back. "Well hey! You can talk to Aelita about how Infamous we are with them." Geoff turns to 'Zeal' in a quick motion. "Yeah, well besides, that's not the point..." He turns back to Jack standing in front of him. "But anyway, we'll see if we can push for this Alliance with the Core, hopefully giving something for the Order to think about when they try to have skirmish strikes in on our home system."
He scratches his head, mostly with a concerned face too. "They want our technology, and i'm talking about an entire Cruiser. God knows what they want it for, but here is another thing, we're getting an established lab on Dobadoru station, we'll possibly be working a ton more in the 'Crons." he starts biting his lip and licking them occasionally. "You got that drink?"
Jack studies him for a few seconds before nodding slightly. "Ivy got it for you when I left for a few minutes." Moving over to a counter nearby, grabbing a glass before handing it to him. "Sugary. Orange Juice, natural sugars too instead of the artificial stuff. Probably not what you're looking for, but that's pretty much what I drink. If the applejuice or soda was touched, Rachel and Jessica would kill me." Laughing quietly.
"At any rate, you do whatever you do. I hate doing stuff like this. Sorry about everything by the way. Things usually go a little more smoother and are less 'mean' than it was today, although Jess was pretty unhappy when she heard you were coming. Guess she's heard of you. Dunno from who, probably Aelita."
Holding a single hand up. "You're free to depart back through the freeport whenever you like, exit is through the hangar back to the port. You should be docked there still if you weren't towed or anything."
He appeared to be done with the threats, that was all over with. Jack didn't seem to care much anymore.
"Hey, if i was causing problems for one side, its bound to happen, its fine. As long as there isn't another hole in my chest i'm cool with it." He raises his glass of orange juice and taking a few gulps. "But thanks for this, exactly what i needed, its also my regular drink.""Right, pack me up." 'Zeal' quickly returns to the compact card form and having Enfield pick it up and place it back in his cybernetic limb. "Right we better move." Geoff quickly drinks the rest of the Juice in quick succession. "Ahh~ better..." Giving jack a handshake. "We should move" He places two fingers onto the side of his head "Alert Tristar that we're coming aboard, we're moving out."
Walking towards the hanger, he notices its empty with the acceptation of a few automated service robots. Taking a quick look at the entrance to the mooring point, his attention is quickly taken by the Heavily armed Roc, recognizing it from a past encounter. "Better now then never." He runs up to the airlock of the Roc, having his hand contact the airlocks access terminal, its screen quickly glitches and the door suddenly unlocks. running to the cockpit area of the ship he takes out a chip from his pocket. "Deaddrop." Waving his hand cybernetic over it, the light suddenly glows on the chip before slowly fading away. "Come on, come on." Unscrewing a service panel of the cockpit he jams the chip between some pipes and cables, hoping for the best. He re-screws the panel back over the service compartment and rushes out of the ship, closing the airlock and re-locking the access terminal. Luckily no-one was still a round, he then quickly jogged off to mooring point where two guards were now standing and waving to him. "Lets move, back to HQ." Geoff tells them as he passes them. Both guards rush in behind him and close the airlock.
Taking the glass back to clean since he was done. "Later." Turning, slowly walking to the kitchen. "Tread lightly, the ice is more thin now. Poor guy. He'll find out sooner or later I guess." Putting the glass away where they are kept after cleaning it, slowly turning towards the direction in which he left in.
"Three months? What do you think?" Turning his head to someone else who was in the corner of the room. "I say four. People like that make a mistake while trying to go for reparations. Shouldn't you have told him the other contingent?" "Nah. It's better this way."
