The Kyushu Farmers Alliance is a small group of Kusarian conservatists, which became outlawed after Kishiro assumed power in the republican Kusari. The Alliance partakes in terrorist activity against foreign corporations, most notably Synth Foods. They abhor the Golden Chrysanthemums and their disgusting drug habit. The Blood Dragons are also viewed with suspicion. The Alliance keeps close ties with Samura, Hogosha and the Imperial Navy, keeping very much on the unlawful end of the conservative Kusarian spectrum.

Kyushu is often referred to as the Samura "company" planet within Kusari, as so many of its inhabitants depend on Samura's continued largess. As part of an effort to stimulate rice production on Kyushu, Samura gradually organized the Kyushu farmers into cooperatives that would buy Fertilizer and customized seeds from their laboratories in New Tokyo. Consumers paid exorbitant amounts for the rice produced, which everyone swore was much higher quality than that produced in any other part of Kusari, and thus worth the premium price it fetched in Samura's Tokyo supermarkets.
With the eventual introduction of Trade Lanes, Kusari farmers were opened to competition with the rest of the Sirius Sector. They lobbied the government heavily, financed with Samura money, which had the most to lose from cheaper foreign competitors. The government acquiesced for several centuries, leading to astronomical Kusari Food prices. Eventually, under pressure from the Liberty government, Kusari reopened the agricultural imports market, despite intense lobbying by Samura.
Synth Foods moved in and became an overnight success, opening franchises in the urban areas of Honshu and New Tokyo. Demand for expensive Kyushu Food dropped, and many independent farmers were forced out of business. Feeling betrayed, some of the farmers proceeded to organize the Farmers Alliance, a militant group that lobbies for "farmers' rights" -- which include such things as government subsidies and restrictions on the sale of foreign foods in Kusari. In fact, the Farmers Alliance generally is opposed to foreign influence of any kind, particularly the Trade Lanes that have so damaged their livelihoods.
The general population ignores the Farmers Alliance for the most part, though they do have some support among older Kusari citizens. In the past the Farmers Alliance was little more than a puppet of Samura, who wished to return to its Food and trade monopoly days. Samura used them for much of its dirty work, attacking foreign shippers, in particular Synth Foods, and even Kishiro on occasion. The Farmers Alliance respect the Hogosha, as they represent the traditional "criminals" of Kusari that fit in with society. The vast majority of the Farmers Alliance members live among the civilian population on Planet Kyushu itself.

Cape Soya Station -- Tottori
As the Farmers Alliance raised its profile in Kusari, its leaders and bases became the target of frequent Blood Dragon and GC attacks. The leadership of the Alliance it need a stronghold to protect it's operational leadership. Hidden in a nebula, Cape Soya Station is the Farmers Keep, built by Samura with defense in mind, no expense was spared. The base is equipped with the latest technology. This station is the last line of defense for the Farmers, housing the permanent residences of some of the most high profile Alliance leaders, it is also rumored that on occasion members of the Hogosha and Gaians seek sanctuary on Cape Soya.
Kagoshima Depot -- Kyushu
Kagoshima is the oldest Farmers Alliance depot, constructed for the more radical of the movement who preferred to act, rather than just sit and protest on Planet Kyushu. This is where the Alliance fighters and bombers are constructed and repaired, it also serves as a storage and logistics platform for Alliance trade convoys. Gaians, Exiles and Hogosha are often seen on the station.
Kamisu Base -- Honshu
Kamisu Base is a small outpost the Farmers Alliance recently established in orbit of the Hikari planetoid. As Synth Foods shipments from Rheinland grew more numerous then those coming through Liberty, the Farmers Alliance found they lacked the range to effectively deal with ships coming up through the Sigmas. Samura covertly transferred a prefabricated small depot to the Alliance in small pieces, that were slowly assembled in orbit of the planetoid. The station became operational in 818 A.S., and Farmers Alliance activity in the Honshu and Sigma-13 system rose dramatically a short while afterward.
Shibukawa Depot -- Nagano
Shibukawa Depot is a small Farmers Alliance installation established in 817 A.S. as a base of operations for the group's patrols in Nagano and Rishiri. Funded by Samura, the depot was a defensive outpost established for the purpose of defending Planet Tomioka and the Takasaki Dust Field. The base served it's purpose well, as the Farmer's Alliance maintained almost complete control over the field until Samura construction began in 819 A.S. Having successfully blocked any Gas Miners Guild, Golden Chrysanthemum and Blood Dragon expansion into the system, Samura was able to move in with little opposition. However, Shibukawa found itself with a new problem - and opportunity - when a jumphole into Tau-37 stabilised within the dustfield.

Objectives
1) Claim the Kyushu system for the Alliance and establish the Farmers' controlled government on Planet Kyushu.
2) Assist the Imperial Navy and its allies in a fight against Kusari Republic and Kingdom of Gallia.
3) Distrupt the operations of Golden Chrysanthemums, Blood Dragons, Outcasts and The Order.
4) Support the operations of Samura, Gaians, Corsairs and Hogosha if this benefits the Alliance.
5)Expropriate finances and commodities from trading and mining companies unless they are approved by Samura.
6)Seek for an additional support from the concordant groups against mutual enemies.
7)Destroy every asset of the Synth Foods corporation.
Also I would like to see how you guys stand towards the Coalition.
We want to stick as close to the original faction canon as possible, that's part of the reason why Alliance) tag was chosen, to be as close to the NPC IFF as possible.
And as for Coalition, we haven't had any encounters yet with the Coalition (we haven't had any, as a matter of fact ), so it is under "Everyone else" for diplomacy. We will see the outcomes of our encounters and complete the reputation based on that.
First of all all. Good to see a new FA faction around. The FA needs more love. Though, i see a few problems here...
1: What's your intention exactly? Why did you just copypaste the synopsis from the wikipage of the FA? When someone starts a faction the backgroundstory should be atleast a bit unique and not copying something. But that's common these days it seems. So right now it looks more like a lol faction which the FA doesn't deserve.
2: Do you intend to use Gaian tech by default without even RP ing with them? Also. The LWB is not friendly to the FA. Neutral at best. Or is there any Forum RP i am not aware of?
P.S.: Don't forget to add the Big Dragon please. Good for transport piracy
While it would be awesome to see farmers in town, I'm afraid of seeing this thing as an ALT faction created only to ease the agenda of some another faction fighting for the Emprah.
Also, why pink. My eyes!
And why god why. Why a fish.
Why you do this.
Why.
Well, I can assure you that it's nothing from our side Yao (speaking 343 here).
Would be cool to see more farmers around. Like the Idea, although a bit more... uniqueness would be cool.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to see interactions with you guys

We want to develop as we go, rather than starting with some pre-existing story. As it was said before, we want to represent the NPC faction as best as we can and we hope on developing our roleplay more on the ecounters that will happen, rather than pre-existing stuff.

We hope for some forum roleplay with Gaians, for now the technology was based purely on the Techchart, the lines that are labeled as "Not in common use" will be roleplayed individually.
We will change the LWB diplomacy, we guided ourselves by the techchart in this one particular instance.

We can assure you this is not our goal. While Farmers are still part of the imperialistic movement, we want to shift our focus more towards piracy and also the Blood Dragons.

Well, that's the point. Alliance - Alliance)First.Last looks weird. I mean you already have the NPC IFF why would you make your tag the same (don't bother realy it's just a small thing).
