Good afternoon Daumann representatives,
I am Alicia Young, Crayterian Minister of Science, Technology and Agriculture and as such responsible for every aspect of the aforementioned fields.
I have been informed that your corporation is one of the main suppliers of diamonds and other rare materials from the Omega sector, thats why I am contacting you.
We are currently working on an improvements of the Crayterian technology, so far it appears that the use of diamonds within our new projects could be a way to reach our goals.
I would be glad to work on a deal for a sample of the materials you provide, to see if our idea is feasible and you material could be put into use for this.
I will await your feedback.

Ahh, Colonials decided it's time to come to Canossa...
After you fought against us during Omega-7 Turf Wars, conflict which had nothing to do with yourselves and was far away from your home, you were and are banned from our stations, are you not? What is this, your powerful Guild friends aren't that good anymore?
You shot at us. You are banned from our stations. This all happened years ago, things have changed, as they always do. We aren't closed to giving various groups second chances, but you want to get a deal with us, yet at the same time you do that?
Colonials, Colonials, what have we ever done to make you treat us so disrespectfully? If you'd come to us in friendship, this deal you wanted would be signed this very day. And if by some chance an honest faction like yourselves made enemies in Rheinland, they would become our enemies. And then, they would fear you.
And now, how are you going to convince us to forget that insult, and not to report it to authorities ? To let you call us your friends ?
I shall tell you. We want this. A hundred thousand containers. Refined metal or ore, doesn't matter. Delivered to our smelters on New Berlin. Free of charge.

Mr. Von-Geld,
Thank you for the swift answer.
It is indeed true that there have been differences in the past, we should however not forget whoms actions had brought one of our Battlegroups in the Omega sectors, to offer protection to our friends. We should learn from the past to make sure that such steps are not going to be necessary again, thats why we should not let the past block out a possible, better, future for everyone involved.
I can assure you that the pilot you caught with this, rather bizarre cargo, has acted on his own. The Movers work different from most corporations you might know. Each captain owns his vessel and thus has the ability to work on their own, which also means that, apparently, there can be black sheeps, that if brought to our attention, will face the necessary consequences. The pilot in question will pay the required fine of 6.000.000 SC according to Rheinlands laws to a bank account of your choice. We are no criminals and we abide the laws of other houses, should we be within their influence. We can sadly not change that sometimes people step out of the boundaries, I can however imagine that not every Daumann employee is a saint either, otherwise the aforementioned conflict would never have happened, dont you agree?
Now onto the topic of the materials you demand. We will gladly provide you with Niobium should you require it, we have access to certain sources of high quality Niobium, raw and processed. You should however not think that we are foolish enough to ignore that there are other sources of Diamonds, that would likely be interested in deals with the Republic, which will, once established result in further cooperations which are likely to bring wealth to every party involved. I would call that a chance you should not miss out if its offered. We have chosen to contact Daumann for this because I remember the various projects you have carried out in Rheinland, which, in my eyes, protraits you as a reliable business partner, should you think differently of yourself you are welcome to inform me about this.
You should also not forget that you are talking to an elected member of the government of the Crayterian Republic and as such a representative of all citizens of the Republic, not a filthy Freelancer or Criminal and as such you should improve the way you attempt to talk to me.
What I am going to offer you is a simple deal, we will deliver 50.000 units of Niobium to your facilities, not because you demand it, but because we want to show you that we are interested in working together with you and that we, ourselves are also reliable business partners. Once this delivery has been made, we are going to agree on further ways of sourcing the materials in question.

Frau Young,
For half of materials requested, Colonial Republic can get simple business deal for resource extraction, and nothing more than that - that is, without wider cooperation, general removal of no-dock codes and technological support.
Should you come to decision partial deal is what suits your group well enough, we are ready for it just as we are for full option.
COMM ID: Alicia Young, Minister of Science, Technology and Agriculture Location: Sabah Shipyard
Mr. Von-Geld,
I hope you understand that I consider your so called 'full option' as a rather insulting approach. You know fully well that the Republic had been aiding allies in the Omegas as a result of your actions.
Deals are done on eye level where I come from, however it appears that you consider yourself to be in a higher position, you should reconsider this. I am offering you a chance to forget the past for a brighter future, yet you appear to just carry on with the very same attitude that had brought our groups on hostile terms once.
A possible deal, that the Republic could accept would be the delivery of 50.000 units or Niobium free of charge in exchange for access to your bases in order to be able to take the required diamonds back.
This way both sides get what they require, wouldnt you agree?

Frau Young,
leaving sardonic comments aside, I don't quite understand why you consider our "full option" something insulting. We made our intentions clear, that we'd like to aquire 100 000 containers of Niobium from you, and for such a quantity we'd be ready to forget the past entirely and concentrate on the future. We don't need those one hundred thousand containers right now, and I can imagine it will take a while for you to deliver such a big shipment.
For half of the required shipment, we can have simple business deal, but without improving overall relations. We don't mean any insult by that - we clearly said we are open for bigger cooperation, and we stated our price.
I remember Omega Turf Wars aswell, yes, you aided your allies, and where this aid led yourselves into? Your Republic is banned from Kusari space, your relations with leading Rheinland industrial giants such as our corporation are cold like New Berlin's surface, you had to escape from the Taus to avoid Gallia's wrath, you bled defending your allies' interests in the Omegas, far away from your home, fighting people who held no grudges against you. Has Daumann ever intervened in the Tau matters? Omegas are our sphere of influence.
How this all turned out for your Republic? Banned from some places, with freezing cold diplomatic relations in others. And your allies ? Do they share your peril?
Rheinland is a land of opportunity, Promised Land for people who wish to do business. Libertonians, Council, Gallic Royals, Bretonians, GMG, Kusarians Republican and Imperial alike, they all can and do business in Rheinland.
With due respect Minister Young, are you your allies' defence wing, or a sovereign entity wishing to cast old feuds aside and look forward future cooperation?
COMM ID: Alicia Young, Minister of Science, Technology and Agriculture Location: Sabah Shipyard
Hello again Mr. Von-Geld,
I agree that the past has not been too favourable for us, this is why we are attempting to improve things for the future.
If we accept your so called full option, I expect you to use your influence in Rheinland in our favour, just as friends would. This means that you would take care of all the internal dealings that are necessary to allow us docking rights to all non-military restricted facilities in Rheinland, including yours, Krügers and all others that currently do not welcome Colonial ships.
If you can agree to this, we are going to start the deliveries right away.
