I am Dr. Thorn and, ur, I've recently come into possession of an unfurnished Montante gunship. Earlier today, I contacted OSC regarding the po...potential for installing living quarters and their customer service team have recommended each of your respective organisations. The project involves installing living quarters for five individuals as well as kitchen and modest recreational facilities, whilst taking as little interior space of the Montante as is possible - a requirement I'm sure will require a degree of innovative flair. Currently, the entire gunship is unfurnished save for primary and essential systems.
As I am personally un... unfamiliar with your organisations beyond their names, I would like to invite you to, urm, tender for the project. If you are interested, please may you send me your proposals detailing options, pricing, lead-times and anything else you deem to be important.
I look forward to hearing from you, may the stars keep you.

Hello! Thallia, Thallia... Where did I hear your name.
Oh I remember! California, captain of the Anki, luxurious Renzu freighter. I am Nicky from Deep Space Engineering, shortly DSE). Very well, I see you bought a bit uglier version of ship this time, but worry not. It's nothing these little hands can't fix.
However, I can't tell you exact price or time now. I would like to see your ship and your proposals, then we can talk about price for material. How does it sound, dear?
Well met, Dr. Thorn
This is FynnMcScrap speaking, representing Tinker and Transport.
As we have no own Shipjard to fit larger ships or do a complete rebuilding job I guess your interest is mainly in refurbishing and outfitting the Montante. We do have some experience in this, and would be happy to help.
Also, if time is an issue, we have no problems in cooperating with DSE) Engineers or other experts like Kishiro Industries to let you combine ingenuinity , creativity, and the needed logistical support in the manner you seem fit.
You are welcome to visite me at the Haven in Texas and inspect our facilities any time.
We have a lot of experience in modular building and setup, as many of our Ambulance fleet ships are refitted CSF vehicles or Liners like Pilgrim ships or the trusted Democrit Liner, and we have already outfitted a Pelican as a secure VIP and representative Shuttle. Sadly that Pelican is at the moment unavailable, as our Prime Secretary is using it on his diplomatic mission to Baffin.
It would help a lot if we would know what to expect ?
Fitting as much living space and life support for long duration travel into an unmodified Series Z "Montante" as you require will not be an issue.
Without rebuilding any interiour structure of the Montante my Engineer tells me this would probably use up about <10> cargo capacity of the ship. That is calculated without Food, Oxygen, Water, and other supplies you need, but the system is fully capable of using H-fuel as a source for water supplies.
Fitting in advanced storage systems to let the passengers fully use the cargo bay and acces the stores while in flight would use up another <5> cargo capacity,
and fitting in more-than standard options to enable you to use the cargo bay as recreational area and secondary living space if not in use otherwise would round up to about another <20> cargo capacity.
Mind me: you would hate having to clean up the mess if you carry ore or other unprocessed cargo in there, even though all surfaces will be treated to enable high- pressure and temperature cleaning.
And my advice is to never carry raw hydrocarbons. Ever.
If you want to have a small mobile laboratory as well, that can be arranged.
No high class stuff, but enough to enable standard checking and evaluation processes. The gear is usually fitted into our Ambulances to serve as a mobile triage setup if the Ambulance is called to a major crisis and arrives first, and is not operational in its stowaway cases. But if you clear the cargo bay and take perhaps half an hour to set it up it could proove to be a valuable asset. Storage space would require <15> cargo units, and would prohibit using the cargo bay for anything else while in operative mode.
ABC capability is up to Sev 3 ( high risk but not military standard ),
and you can easily arrange for supplies here at any T&T/ storage post or with [MFE] Med Force Enterprises. You have to contact Cryer if you want anything better, Doc.
Well, it is quite difficult to calculate all these things without knowing what you would want to get fitted, but all these measures are non-invasive. We dont need to cut up the hull of your ship for this.
Also, we own a Montante ourselves, so if you pick a package to get fitted we can start measuring and working on the modules before you arrive.
If you want more, or more luxury, I suggest you contact one of the major ship building conpanies.
As for the price, my estimation would be as follows :
Life support systems : 3,2 mil
Advanced storage systems : 1,2 mil
Rebuilding cargo bay to passenger module : 2,6 mil
Mobile laboratory Class III : 7 mil
Supplies and Equipment for the Laboratory : 1 mil per package, pre packed and durable
If any of this catches your interest I suggest sending me a short com, and I will invite you to the Haven and show you the options in more detail, including an inspection of our refitted CSF Ambulances, our workshops and possible modules.
Reworking the modules to fit your ship should take no more than a week, and fitting them into your Montante without any extra work requiring us to cut the hull is possible in 2 - 3 days.
Yours sincerely

Thank you for your, ur, quick response. As we had few other appointments, the 'Aceso' (the Montante in question) has been moored at Baltimore Shipyard and, ur, is awaiting your inspection.
With re...regards to proposals; I am contacting you to inquire as to the, ur, solutions you may be able to provide that match my re...requirements: living quarters for five individuals, kitchen facilities and, urm, any recreational facilities you may be able to cram into the limited space available. I myself do no...not have the expertise to have a design or proposal already in place.
I, urm, look forward to hearing back from you Nicky after your assessment of the Montante.
May the Stars keep you.
De...dear Mr. McScrap,
Thank you for, urm, getting in touch with such a comprehensive list of possibilities. You are right to assume that I am solely in...interested with the internal furnishing of the Montante, and I shall have to, ur, take you up on the offer for visiting the Haven.
Your pr...prices seem reasonable, though for now I am not interested in the prospect of installing a laboratory. This is due to, ur, some bespoke needs in that respect and I suspect Cryer will need to be involved heavily.
Your offer is, urm, appealing though I wish to give reasonable time for others to respond to the tender before making a decision. I am, ur, sure you understand. In the, urm... meantime, please may I take you up on the offer to see the possible modules and your workshops?
The nice thing about modular construction is that its easily variable.
As we have no contruction costs or other expenses till you decide on picking any options its all up to you.
Send me the transponder of your ship shortly before you arrive so I can notify the deck mate.
Tinkers Haven is licenced under Libertonian Law, and Texas is still sometimes ... well, full of guests we can not freely greet. Even though we stay neutral as Freelance installation we have to keep our docking registry closed.
I trust you do not break libertonian law while travelling in Texas, no ?

Another word in private, Dr. Thorn, and please do not mistake this for indecency.
We have an excellent polyclinic here at the Haven, and our Chief Resident Doc Doreen Nagger would flay me if I dont take care of all my guests. It is none of my buisness and so I will ask you no questions, but you seem perhaps to need a check up yourself.
We get so many refugees and casualties here , due to our cooperation with the [SRO] and [MFE] Med Force Enterprises that you will not attract any attention.
No, there is no price to that. Space is cold enough.
Yours sincerely

My name shall do as a transponder Identification for now, and... urm... no, of course I do not break Libertonian laws. If I were to, I would not be communicating with monitored legal entities.

Hello there again!
Aceso became a special ship in my eyes, shortly after you showed me your proposal or dream was it? Heh, it might take 24 hours though and well price is, eh let's count together.
One wall costs around 50,000 Sirian Credits
Water pipeline for for bathroom and kitchen costs around 750,000 Sirian credits.
You also would like to install few tables, chairs and beds on the second floor where should be the living quarters. It costs around 150,000 credits
If you will accept our plan, eh. We will have to build 11 walls, install one pipeline and 150,000 for equipment of the room, but I guess specialists from Orbital Spa & Cruise might provide you with better stuff.
Anything else, Thallia? If not, price would be around 1,450,000 Sirian crefits!
Whilst I am, ur, unsure if this transmission will be noticed by your customer service department, I be... believe it necessary to attempt to inform you that the tender period for my enquiry has... urm... ended. Whilst it is a sha...shame not to hear from you, I understand there are plenty of other projects to be concerned for.
May the Stars keep you.
Goo...Good day Nicky,
Thank you for taking the time to, ur, appraise the Montante and produce a bespoke proposal. It was great service, one that shall not be forgotten. That being said, for the interior work project, I've decided to not use DSE. Instead, i'd like to off...offer a different project.
Consulting between Lexi and myself, we have come up with some designs for a form of reactive armour with ablative function that Lexi herself will be able to monitor and modulate in real-time as needed: the consequence is having improved survivability of the craft. On top of the cost of materials for the project, what, ur, would be your rates be for installation?
May the Stars keep you.
Good day Mr.McScrap,
The tour of the Haven was, urm, enjoyable and informative to say the least. Whilst I can...cannot say that the exterior of the station was impressive, it was intriguing how your operations within were carried out.
I wo...would like to take you up on your offer concerning the modular interior. The space savings, urm, aspect to your proposal is appealing as is the minimal cost. Consider this an order for the items one through three of your proposal; to a total of 7 million Sirian Credits. Where shall I, ur, wire the transfer?
Please do let me know when to bring the ship into Haven's mooring facilities, I am intrui...intruiged to what extent your engineers live up to the impression so far cre...created.
We will start measuring on our own Montante and fabricate the module pannels and gears,
and will have completed that in 4 - 6 days from now on. I will keep you informed on the process and will send you updates as soon as I have them.
I con firm your order of following modules, preworked to be fitted to a series Z Montante Gunboat :
Life support systems : 3,2 mil
Advanced storage systems : 1,2 mil
Rebuilding cargo bay to passenger module : 2,6 mil
Total cost estimated at : 7.000.000 credits
Total cargo units required for fitting the modules : 35
Bank account for the cash : T&T/Bank
I would ask you to transfer a 20% security to cover our material expenses if you happen not to pass by to pick up the modules, the rest can be processed after fitting.
Our engineers have been brainstorming since your first post, and we will start working as soon as the security has been wired to the Bank.
Yours sincerely

Armor plating shouldn't be problem at all, Thallia. Depends on the material of your armor, you know Iridium plating will be more difficult to mount than simple armor plating. Time and credits depends on material as well, but don't worry okay? Mounting isn't expensive.
