Daniels smirked and waved the man to come over.
Don't be afraid, come, have a drink.
Jack was wondering why people were always waiting on his order and were generally afraid while in is presence. Then he remembered his post, slowly nodded his head a few times and snapped his fingers at the waitress. She was a bright girl and immediately went to bring another round.
The guildmaster looked at Sogan, smiled and asked him:
So, Whiskey? Beer? Vodka? What will it be? I'm buying, of course.
Ar calms, then he walks to Jack and sits on a chair near to him "No thanks, I already drank..."
Then Ar looks the waitress, then Jack' guards and at last his looks return on Jack "...and there is nothing of new here..."
Ar is looking bored...

Jack inspected the glass his drink came in as the waitress watched closely. She was afraid, almost crippled, about the brake. What if the glass wasn't clean enough? What if the whiskey she brought was the wrong one?
In this moment, the Guildmaster stared her in the eyes, smiled and gestured her to walk away.
Relax, girl. Go take a break.
He then offered her a cigarette and she accepted it. Her hands shaking heavily, she barely managed to pull it out of the pack.
Daniels smiled and turned his attention to Sogan.
New? It's an old place, bud. The only new thing here is me and Scarlet over there. But uh, between you and me, we've been here before, me and her. And we've done some major damage. I hope it's different this time around. Enough about that, though. What about you? I've about five minutes before I need to depart for Durban. Just enough for a good story, no? Also, have a cigarette if you want.
He slid the pack towards Sogan and wondered if he would insult his hospitality even more by refusing a cigarette along with the drinks.
Sogan looks for a few moment the pack, then Daniels. "No thanks, I don't smoke". He smiles.
Then he's wondering what could he says, a good story? What good story? Not that he has never got any of these. After another few moment he answers. "Aaaaand what good story? If I would have some renegade to threat him maybe we could talk him" he chuckles "Boh, talking seriously, every day I always do some patrols in Delta and I don't see so more entities there. The space seems calm, maybe there are some annoying Nomads but nothing more..."
He takes a moment to think... or to breathe... then he re-looks Daniels. "When does we do something there? If I don't wrong there's a base to reconquest. Sorry but I can't think anything that it doesn't the job. Maybe I shiuld know some people else here..."

Daniels used his holopad to que up the next song again and finished off his whiskey.
All in due time, Sogan... all in due time. For now, we've other things to worry about.
The man stared out of the window into the empty space.
As for stories, there's plenty of those. Doesn't matter now, though. It's what we do today that counts.
I've too many things on my mind and tomorrow isn't one of them. Not for now, anyways.
The Guildmaster got up, straightened his suit and nodded to his guard to follow him.

Daniels, accompanied by his personal as usual, walked into the "Mad Mako" and the staff immediately cheered up.
For a boss, he was pretty soft on them and they really liked him. One of the waitresses greeted the trio and accompanied them to the VIP booth.
It was the only booth on the second floor and it had all sorts of luxurious features.
Jack sat down on the sofa, lit up a cigarette and awaited the arrival of Majin and her own entourage.
*at the entrance of the bar facility a group of Kusari officers appeared, seemingly led by a short person in a black uniform. The small group made it's way into the area, observing the activity with some interest. The woman at the front seemed particularly cheerful. The Naval officer at her side less so.*
"Majin"
"Umu, so this is the Mad Mako. Quite interesting, considering it's on a station. These folks like to use their living space in peculiar ways, wouldn't you say captain?"
*The captain only grumbled something, feeling somewhat out of place among the foreign populace. However, he couldn't allow the KNI to run the show over the KNF head, so he had to make sure they wouldn't go out of their way and do some bold promises or some such.
They were greeted by one of the waiters of the bar soon after, and Majin asked for a free table. However the waiter quickly indicated that they were expected on the vip lounge, and proceeded to guide them to the location.
As they entered the lounge, she recognized Jack Daniels from the previous holocomms, and her so far cheerful attitude turned into a cordial one*
"Mister Daniels-san, you have arrived before us! I was hoping to see how the mood is around here before meeting you, but I guess I'll have your company for the first drink. Thank you for having us!"
*with a well practised salute, she presented herself.*
"Kusari Naval Intelligence, Special Agent Majin. Yoroshiku."
*she made some introductions about the other officers accompanying her, all of them KNF, and then sat down on a free sofa, removing her cap.*

Daniels smiled and stood up. He nodded gently and smiled at the group.
His personal guard did just the same and took their posts at the lounge's entrance.
Konnichi wa! I'm Daniels, Jack Daniels. Don't ask about the name, my folks were really fond of alcohol. All kinds of it and the more the better.
But I digress. It's my pleasure to have you here and to finally meet in person. You look even better in person, Ms Majin.
Been a while since we welcomed any guests in our humble establishment...
He looked around at the rather shiny and expensive furniture, the solid marble floor of the vip lounge, the top tier drinks on the table and the absolutely stunning view.
Daniels then smirked and continued
...well, okay, maybe not that humble. Either way, help yourselves to the drinks and if you need anything, Sammy here, our waitress for the night, shall oblige.
After all, we've important matters to discuss.
So, tell me, what is it exactly you would require of us?
(//this discussion is considered to be happening before the second Delta crisis)
"Then, I will take a Gin Tonic, please.
....
Hmmm, if the captain doesn't mind, I will begin with the general topic of our visit, then we may talk about details."
For the moment, the captain of the KNF stood silent, a sort of implicit approval of her leading the conversation. For the moment.
"The Republic of Kusari, for most of it's existence, has given little attention to the Omicron region. It's quite remote, filled with sorts of people we rather not deal with, or that came here to avoid dealing with us. The sigmas usually provide a buffer to the sort of weirdness that occurs outside our home, and there is always yet another issue in our core systems or our neighbors to keep us busy.
However, and this is the concerning part, seems some of the undesirable things that roam around here have been given too much room, and have started to find ways to bother us without us having a chance to spot them coming first. That is one of the reason I and the KNI are here, to fix that issue."
The agent takes a sip of the freshly made Tonic Gin. The golden emblems on her uniform stood out with the polish they had received recently, in comparison to the rest of the clothes, colors faded from time and some sort of heat damage.
"Kusari has many times in the past negotiated with Core for the establishment of a observation group in your facilities, from where we could operate autonomously to investigate the threats of the omicrons. Supply and logistics, as well as intelligence sharing, would be the things we seek from the Core. In return, the previous Guildmaster showed interest in operating more actively in Kusari controlled space, and closing deals with the Naval Forces about sales of Military Equipment produced by your companies.
To put is simply, we would like some partners in the area that we can rely on, and you can't have too many good relations in the Houses.
There is a saying back at our lands, "How delightful to receive friends from afar." Would you like to have such friends, Mister Daniels?"
