Station Name: Durban Station Station Class: Lesoto Date of Commission: 801 A.S Location: Omicron Rho Status: Operational Population: 960
Armaments:
• CLASSIFIED
Description
Durban Station is the Headquarters of the Core in the Edge Worlds. Situated in the highly secure system of Omicron Rho, the station stands tall as the pinnacle of human technological evolution. Constructed by the Core at great expense, Durban has been outfitted with highly advanced radar, communications and scanning equipment. Durban is a large tower-like strucutre, with each level housing pilots of different ranks within the Core. The higher ups tend to gather near the station peak, with the lower ranks dwelling in the middile. The lowest levels however are heavily restricted and oddly only the higher ups can access them. It is rumored these contain secret labratories as well as intensive interrogation rooms, but also a complex network of cells creating what could be considered the most secure prison in Sirius.
Durban also has it's own biodome, so that the Core can produce it's own food and other sustenance. It is also home to an entertainment district, so that pilots can aleviate their minds from the stresses of the Omicrons before returning to duty.
Finally, Durban is home to a hangar stocked with Core ships ready to defend the station to the death if needed. Furthermore the station is bristling with defences such as an extensive arrary of station turrets and weapons platforms. Whilst Rho is undoubtedly secure, the Core does not want to take chances.
Station Name: Alabama Shipyard Station Class: Kansas Date of Commission: 811 A.S Location: Omicron Rho Status: Operational Population: 550
Armaments:
• CLASSIFIED
Description
Alabama Shipyard was built at great expense by the Core and AP Manufacturing. Its primary function is the construction and maintenance of AP-Line ships and Core Capital ships operating in the Edge Worlds. Alabama Shipyard also produces smaller AP-Line craft like Gunboats and Fighters for not just the Core to use, but to be sold to interested buyers across Sirius. However those are typically downgraded slightly and are inferior to the ships and equipment the Core uses, as their ships and equipment are developed to endure the harsh Edge Worlds environment.
Core technicians and engineers also develop advanced technologies based upon the alien technologies and artifacts Core pilots find in the Edge Worlds and deeper Nomad systems. Alien technology is reverse engineered and successful developments are often imbued into AP-Line ships and equipment for the Core to make use of against their less-advanced enemies and in dazzling combat against their technological rivals: The Order.
Locked in a vicious technological arms race with the Order, Alabama Shipyard is constantly working at maximum capacity in order to fulfil the demanding needs of the Core.
Station Name: Yaren Base Station Class: Aruba Date of Commission: 802 A.S. Siege Date: 822 A.S. Location: Omicron Delta Status: Operational Population: 210/font]
[font=Agency FB]Armaments:
• CLASSIFIED
Description
In 822 A.S the Core successfully sieged Yaren base and captured it from Corsair hands. Since then they have been hard at work refining and reinforcing the defensive capabilities of the installation, not wanting it to fall back into the hands of their enemies. With Yaren now firmly in the grip of The Core they now have a far more accessible means to descend onto planet Nauru, however they still plan to construct a docking ring in order to make the planet even more accessible.
The Core has established large-scale mining operations across Nauru to extract Iridium from the planets Iridium-rich crust. The Iridium is then transported up to Yaren Base, where it is then exported to Freeport 11 and various Shipyards in Sirius either by Core themselves or haulers willing to make a purchase. The Core forcefully maintains its control over the Iridium trade and regularly sends patrols to the mining fields to prevent anyone else trying to mine their resource.
The eye of Yaren watches over Nauru, ensuring that no unwanted vessels are able to descend on the planet whilst the Core conducts its operations there.
Station Name: Planet Nauru Station Class: Planet Date of Colonisation: 818 A.S Location: Omicron Delta Status: Operational Atmosphere and Climate: Fully Breathable / Desert
Planet Nauru is a warm, mostly dry desert world. Initially, it had large concentrations of hydrogen sulphide prevalent in the air precisely at 0.0051 ppm. Whilst it made breathing the air slightly intolerable and would be akin to breathing in rotten eggs, it presented no health risk to humans. Eventually, through a hefty colonisation effort The Core in cooperation with the Canaan Zoner group were able to diffuse most of the hydrogen sulphide in the air. Nowadays patches of Planet resemble a more Mediterranean climate - however this is only in the areas The Core has graced, and most of the world remains a desert. The Core has focused their colonisation effort around Athena City: a huge, gleaming city erected to serve as it's capital.
Initial surveys detected huge amounts of Iridium ore in the planetary crust, as well as many ancient structures and ruins dotted across the surface. The Corsairs eventually constructed a number of mining bases in conjunction with the Zoners. However when The Core turned their attention to Planet Nauru, they slaughtered the Corsair settlers and stole their efforts, taking their mining bases and many of their other structures for themselves. These bases are heavily used in order to extract the Iridium, which is a critical component in antimatter based weaponry, armour and notably ALG's HazMat canisters. Iridium is exported off-world to many shipyards and other facilities across Sirius - including Freeport 11. Iridium is a key part of The Core's economy, and is essential for them creating an income in order to finance their Edge Worlds campaign.
The population of Nauru mostly consists of both The Core's civilian and military personnel. This includes, but is not limited to, Soldiers, Pilots, Researchers, Scientists and others who either simply live on the Planet or fulfil the other important roles of AP Manufacturing. Nauru also houses re-conditioned criminal, and secretly slave, populations that are made to work within the Iridium mines. The planetary population of Nauru is still rapidly growing from the allure of a prosperous ‘haven’ in the Edge Worlds, and The Core does not want to release actual population numbers at this time (in part due to the Slave and Criminal populations, which The Core wishes to keep under wraps). However external parties speculate it to be higher than that of Planet Akabat.
Before The Core arrived, Zoner and Order science teams on the surface were investigating the Planet's geography. Whilst life, which was mostly hostile, had been discovered, it was no where near the level of human intelligence and was closer to being feral and primal. However, these science teams did stumble upon incredibly rare alien ruins and structures located all over the planets surface. These ruins contained technology that is/was used by the Nomads and Daam K'vosh, however they were conclusively proven as having not been constructed by either in 815 A.S by the eminent Order Xenoarchaeologist Kendra Sinclair. Little in the way of any clues or evidence as to the identity of the real builders remain, although with The Core now dominating the Planet, they hope to uncover the secrets left behind by this mysterious lost alien civilization. And if possible, weaponise them.
Station Name: Capetown Station Station Class: Namibia Date of Commission: 811 A.S Location: Omicron Zeta Status: Operational Population: 290
Armaments:
• CLASSIFIED
Description
The Core built Capetown as a defensive strong-point and supply base for ships exploring the upper Omicrons in search of alien technology. It is a recent construction, built inside the cover of a dense nebula. While the nebula provided the Core with cover during construction, it also makes it difficult to detect incoming ships, so the Core has to patrol the perimeter of the station in order to give it advance warning of attackers. The Core is well aware of how Freeport 7 was destroyed, and they are determined to not make the same mistakes.
Capetown also houses a large recruitment centre and sizeable barracks. A lot of the Cores newer pilots tend to be found here, often coming freshly straight out of the recruitment procedures and ready to fight.
Station Name: Invicta Research Complex Station Class: Atlas Date of Commission: 825 A.S Location: Omicron Rho Status:OPERATIONAL Population: 1400
Armaments:
• CLASSIFIED
Description
Recently constructed, Invicta Research Complex is a top secret military research facility in Omicron Rho. Access is highly restricted to all but Core and APMs best and brightest scientists, technicians and engineers as well as Core High Command. Invicta makes use of several facilities not found on Alabama Shipyard, such as a facility for development into advanced cloaking and cloak disruption technology. Gathered or confiscated materials and artifacts are often sent here, for the research teams to tamper and experiment with.
Successful creations are often mounted on Core ships for use in the field. If not, they are sold or exchanged with other factions who may are willing to offer The Core something useful in return for the advanced technologies.
Station Name: Dabadoru Station Station Class: Emmeth Date of Commission: 801 A.S Location: Omicron Delta Status:LOST Population: No Core Personnel
Armaments:
• UNKNOWN
Description
In 822 A.S, after the battle of Yaren, Dabadoru base was unfortunately lost to The Order. A coordinated strike against the base whilst it's defenders were occupied allowed the Order to successfully capture the station. Fortunately, the Core knew of an incoming attack of some sort and were able to prepare adequately by moving all important personnel off the station and have a minimal presence of small craft to oversee the fall of Dabadoru.
The Core eagerly plans to launch a counter-attack on the station and reclaim the station.
Hidden deep inside the Palau Cloud, Dabadoru Station was built in 816 A.S., to function as a base of operations for The Core, an elite paramilitary who have come to the Omicrons in search of new technologies.
Ship Name: Battleship Jupiter Ship Class: AP-609 "Mako" Core Battleship Date of Commission: 815 A.S Status: Out of Service Captain: Timothy Walther Crew Number: 405
Armaments:
• Currently Unarmed
Personnel In Detail:
• None
Description
The Battleship Jupiter was one of the small number of Battleships able to make it out of the Battle of Minor. Not just that, but the Captain of the Jupiter refused to retreat without ensuring that other Core vessels made it to safety. Battling against the Nomad hordes, the Jupiter and its battle-group bravely covered the Omicron Delta jump hole as Core forces made a quick retreat from chaos of Minor - the Nomads attempting to permanently neutralise both Core and Order forces at once whilst they were both occupied with fighting each other. As the last remnant of the Core attack force retreated to Delta, the Jupiter and its battle-group fled in tow, sustaining heavy damage from the Nomad bombardment.
Upon returning to Delta, the Jupiter was immediately drafted in with other vessels to secure the Minor jump hole and prevent further Nomad advancement towards Core territory. Regardless of being heavily damaged, the Jupiter and its crew keenly kept to their post and eagerly fought back against the Nomad forces. Through sheer tenacity and grit, the Nomads eventually left to continue their carnage in Omicron Minor and a small proportion of the Core attack fleet had managed to retreat. Unfortunately, what was left was a far cry away from their previous strength and it would take them several years to recuperate their losses and stand tall within the Edge Worlds once again.
After the battle, the Jupiter was towed back to Omicron Rho to undergo repairs. It's Captain and Crew were decorated and greatly rewarded for their bravery and dedication to the Core fleet. However the Jupiter had been so heavily damaged that it was doubtful it would be flying again any time soon, or flying again ever. Without a vessel to operate on, most of the crew from the Jupiter either took up positions on other Core capitals or landed themselves governmental roles on Planet Nauru with their new-found influence.
Though, rumour has it that the Jupiter has recently become fully functional again, and the Core has been experimenting on the Jupiter with the help of alien energies in order to create a newer and more powerful Capital ship to use in their conquest of the Omicrons.

Description
The Battleship Bellona fiercely stands within orbit of Planet Nauru, watching closely for any chance of a possible Corsair counter-attack on Yaren Base, or any unwanted attempts at other factions and individuals attempting to make illegal planet fall onto Nauru. Armed with extra docking bays and an expanded hangar facility, the purpose of the Bellona is to maintain the Cores dominance over Nauru and ensure the safety of its denizens. Using the 'shooter' technique that the Ordine also makes use of, the Bellona is able to rapidly deploy fighter and bomber craft to protect the orbit of the Planet.
