Skorak means Freeport 4 in Magellan DonSam, and yep, it was IMG freeport even back in vanilla.

Rumors say there was some oorp skypedeal involved, but who knows...
Freeport 4 has historically been an IMG station, yes. When Gallia pushed into Magellan, the Liberty Navy booted IMG out to use it as a forward base. Just to clear up the timeline of things. It was also done to remove the awkwardness of IMG being neutral to Liberty, Bretonia, and Gallia.

The plans to destroy FP4 in some events have been agreed 1 year ago or even further back.
It just somehow has never happened.
The okay to destroy FP4 was given in a Skype planning channel with LN, GRN, IMG and a dev online.
If anybody wants to read up on the background of the FP4 roleplay, do a forum search for [Fall of Freeport 4] or [Fall of FP4].
And to reaffirm it what others have already written here: FP4 should actually be LN-IFFed. It is not because server changes always revert it to the vanilla status. At some point no one cared any more to request the "quick fixes" again.
The decision to make FP4 a LN-IFFed station was mainly done in the first place because it was sooo messy when everybody (LN, BAF, GRN) docked and undocked from FP4 in Magellan brawl events.

This.
But this hasn't happened because img tears especially the java part. Originally, it should've been a GMS replace the img in the taus, but it hasn't happened because of tears . So how about work something out?
I think the IMG need to give up either Java or Holman to appease the Gallics since they've been a nuisance to them. Either that, or the IMG can say bye to both stations and their precious neutrality.

Welcome to Pavel.
But yes, besides that, there was a deal involved. It was quite easy, since it was a question about whether it was worth destroying a vanilla faction over something people obviously didn't want in the mod in the first place. The decision was quite easy to keep the - especially back then - most active and most played - and also the most popular starter (or newbie player) faction around, even if it might not have been the most fitting thing in RP.
Gallia was a bad idea, a bad decision and everyone knows it - and probably even knew it. The Taus were full and working "quite interestingly" with how the factions were set up before that massive blunt object was forced into there without much consent of the players who inhabited the region ooRP-wise.
Wasn't it bad enough that they ruined CR by pushing them out of their only real activity area?
Maybe to put it in a way that you can understand: try to imagine DHC being removed from Omega-11 due to a Hessian or Corsair push.
Freeport 4 was an IMG installation, it was "taken over by the LN" (official version) and "given to LN with not very much resistance as it was going to be in a warzone anyway and to show that IMG is still trying to be on the anti-Gallia side, though official taking that side would be suicidal" (inofficial version). Not IMG's fault that with every update it is back to IMG again, instead of being LN as it should be.
Besides, maybe the GRN has learned from the "80 years war" / RM-GMG; having an enemy who knows the area damn well sitting right on your supply vein might hurt you more in the end than just leaving him there, but pressuring him to obey your orders.
One could just as well ask, why is the GRN not actually taking over Kusari?
I'll just reiterate it ... why don't we just get it over with and remove this cancer called Gallia? It's ruining this mod and has been ever since it was put in. The vanilla houses and how it was without it already offered enough to RP around in.
