Background information
Wolfram Kruppstahl (* 793 A.S. on Planet Hamburg, Hamburg system) is a police officer of the Rheinland Federal Polizei. His father, Johannes Kruppstahl as well as his mother, Maria Kruppstahl worked hard on Alster Shipyard to allow their son to seek education and live a life better than theirs.
When he was old enough, Wolfram took part in a government campaign that scouts candidates for military and police duties.
After going through years of education and training, Kruppstahl has been assigned to the reserve group of the Rheinland Police. Due to his good work and by time, he was assigned to join the active duty group. Kruppstahl claims the ladder up to the rank Detektiv. During this time, Kruppstahl does a good job on duty and most civilians could count on him.
Weeks and months of regular duty go by. Battling Hessians in the mine fields has become second nature by now. It was until one odd day, Kruppstahls scanners pick up a vessel of identification he has not yet seen before. He asked his bord computer what the policy for Order ships was, which prompty answered that these terrorists must be eliminated on sight. Scanning his foe while closing in to get a better look at their ships weak points, it was quickly understood that Wolfram was in a very inferior position here. The so called Agent Brake was quick to inform that there's no fight taking place and that the Order is, in fact, not a terrorist organization. With an attack probably being useless, Wolfram decided to listen to the mysterious agent who lectured him about the Nomad War and the true heroes. Afterwards, Kruppstahl took a few days off to think about the words of Brake. While doing his own research, most neural net sites to this topic were blocked, but interestingly, he could find a propaganda letter of the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee, which shows the Buro's dealings with Nassau Space Port and their experiments with Nomad material. Wolfram was taken aback, shocked by what looks like extremely dangerous experiments done only one system away from his homeworld.
Wolfram devotes his free time to research Nomads, the Order and even Bundschuh. In the stations on the border of Rheinland, he got in touch with middlemen while alledgedly seeking for shortcuts for his supply runs into the Omicons. As he finally collected all the necessary navigation data to traverse into the Omicrons, Kruppstahl loads his Humpack freighter with as many personal supplies as he could. It was a very dangerous undertaking and he was in luck that the local Corsairs weren't interested in small prey like his Humpback. On his way, he met courteous scientists belonging to the Canaan Project. A group that specializes in AI research. They came to the mutual agreement that he could use one of their docks on Corinth if he does supply runs from Rheinland on a regular basis.
One day, as he gets in touch with Briggs, a member of the Canaan Project, Kruppstahl receives the position of a secret research station of the Canaan Project: Aurora Complex. Once arriving there with his cargo full of supplies, the other members of the Canaan Project show him their gratitude. Kruppstahl gets introduced into the research of the Gammuan Artificial Intelligence, something he has never heared of before. He is very interested in the Omicrons and the species living here. Though he's aware that this place is dangerous.

12/30/822 A.S. - Freeport 15 - Omicron 74
"My name is Wolfram Kruppstahl, Detektiv of the Rheinland Federal Polizei. This logbook is restricted to myself in first hand. When you read this, I'm probably dead already. Nobody knows I am here, not even my family. The Büro would hunt me down if this became public. Things haven't always been easy in Rheinland. The government, together with the Buro der Marineintelligenz, freely experiment with Nomad material and this is the consequence. That's a mistake the people of Rheinland should be aware of. I trust the Widerstandsarmee do their best to sway the people and reveal the truth. I have seen Nomads within Rheinland, even humans who seemed out of mind and work with the Nomads. Chances are our government does the same and the Nomads are taking big steps to eliminate mankind. Rheinland is in the wrong here, the entirety of Sirius is. The Order is an organization protecting mankind, not destroy it. I've gone to the Omicrons to see it myself."
12/31/822 A.S. - Freeport 15 - Omicron 74
"People around the colonies must be celebrating new year's eve today. A shame life out here is not as easy as one might think. Corsairs and other scum is everywhere. My only protection is the many Core ships patrolling this space."
01/01/823 A.S. - Freeport 11 - Omicron Delta System
"On my way to Omicron Delta, I decided to visist Aurora Complex after quite some time. However, the research station isn't there anymore. Nobody informed me where the Canaan Project went, nobody told me they would move elsewhere at all. Hopefully their base didn't suffer a bombardement by the Nomads. I was unable to make Contact to anyone of the Canaan Project. They're good men and women, I hope they are alive."
01/02/823 A.S. - Freeport 11 - Omicron Delta System
"Freeport 11 is no longer a safe place for me to stay. I try to speak as little as possible as to not reveal my accent. People here have become suspicious of me, likely they've spotted my Humpback in the docks. Though there's something more interesting: I've spotted a Nomad ship today, and they didn't act in hostility. Likely it scouted the station for the others of his kind? Or do they communicate with each other in the first place? I have no idea about these mysterious creatures, but being able to spectate one swimming through space was a beautiful experience. I kept my distance though and had my Countermeasures ready to launch at any time."
"An Order ship appeard in the meantime, telling me to back off from the glowing creature. It turns out the person I was talking to was Agent Brake. We met on the Freeport and had a chat in person. I have no doubts he is a good guy but we had to be careful about others listening to our conversation. Unfortunately, he received a backup call and immediately had to be on his way. Here's hope to speak to him again as I'm curious about this world out here."

[02.01.2016 22:25:07] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: There were even friendly ones.
[02.01.2016 22:25:36] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Looks like you're right. You probably saved my life.

[02.01.2016 22:25:54] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: What brings you this far?
[02.01.2016 22:26:14] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Perhaps you've heared about the recent Nomad attack in Rheinland?
[02.01.2016 22:26:53] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: There's been many..
[02.01.2016 22:27:24] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: The recent one in front of Planet Stuttgart. There was a so called "shrine" in front of the planet.
[02.01.2016 22:27:28] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: You don't mean to tell me that Das Toileten sent you now did they? *chuckle*
[02.01.2016 22:27:45] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Stuttgart? I see.. I'm sorry then..
[02.01.2016 22:28:03] CONSOLE: Possible cheating detected: Erzie
[02.01.2016 22:28:09] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: But you don't look like you're out here for an investigation now, are you?
[02.01.2016 22:28:43] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Partially. A few months ago, I met an agent of The Order in Rheinland.
[02.01.2016 22:29:01] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Wait a minute..
[02.01.2016 22:29:11] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I'll be damned.
[02.01.2016 22:29:21] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Anyways.. uh.. what about it?
[02.01.2016 22:29:21] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Excuse me?
[02.01.2016 22:29:42] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I'm interested in learning more about the species called Nomads.
[02.01.2016 22:29:53] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Their intentions. What they are. How to fight them.
[02.01.2016 22:30:43] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: That'd go on for a while..
[02.01.2016 22:31:07] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Back in the day, the agent of The Order told me the truth about BDM and Rheinland's government.
[02.01.2016 22:31:42] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Indeed he did.. Well you see.. What have they told you about those mystic rheinland ships..
[02.01.2016 22:31:54] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: That show no radio signals..
[02.01.2016 22:32:02] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brakes: The ver dangerous ones..
[02.01.2016 22:32:20] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Have you ever witnessed any of such occasions?
[02.01.2016 22:32:32] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Many times, especially during duty.
[02.01.2016 22:32:45] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: What did the Buro tell you about them?
[02.01.2016 22:33:11] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I've never asked the Buro anything. I've seen the public transmission of the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee, stating the current-
[02.01.2016 22:33:23] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: situation at Nassau. The BDM and Republican Shipping dealing with Nomad material.
[02.01.2016 22:33:48] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Tell you what.. I don't think Republican had a choice.
[02.01.2016 22:34:16] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: EIther way.. they suppres such things.. for their own interests..
[02.01.2016 22:34:39] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I've never thought this way, to be honest.
[02.01.2016 22:34:50] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Sometimes one cannot tell who's right simply by reading propaganda or the media.
[02.01.2016 22:35:06] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: However the truth is "hiding" in plain sight sometimes.
[02.01.2016 22:35:26] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The nomas are a species, far more advanced than ours.
[02.01.2016 22:35:52] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Hence why the Buro is so eager to get their hands on them.
[02.01.2016 22:36:36] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: You've mentioned these rheinlandic ships within our house.
[02.01.2016 22:36:59] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: During duty, I've seen many of them. I really mean /many/.
[02.01.2016 22:37:10] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Do you think the Buro has influence to this activity?
[02.01.2016 22:37:19] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Sadly.. there are many..
[02.01.2016 22:37:24] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Like could such a high amount of these ships be their fault?
[02.01.2016 22:38:15] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The Buro? Heh.. They fight these "ships" but many of their agents have the same fate sometimes..
[02.01.2016 22:39:43] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I often make unwise decisions, but I think I can't do anything better in my current situation.
[02.01.2016 22:39:55] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I'd like to assist The Order as much as I can.
[02.01.2016 22:41:09] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: You know.. a normal agent wouldn't trust you..
[02.01.2016 22:41:19] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: But.. I owe you one.
[02.01.2016 22:41:32] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Why?
[02.01.2016 22:42:03] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: This order agent you stopped.. was it a fighter class?
[02.01.2016 22:42:36] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Ja, it was. I can't tell his name, to be honest.
[02.01.2016 22:42:47] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I didn't document the encounter to keep it secret.
[02.01.2016 22:42:50] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Was it somewhere in Frankfurt?
[02.01.2016 22:43:27] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: The Taunusfeld in Frankfurt. Sigma 13 jump hole. That was the last time I've seen him.
[02.01.2016 22:43:46] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Untill now.
[02.01.2016 22:44:12] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Was?! Nein, this can't be true. Such a coincidence!
[02.01.2016 22:44:38] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: It's sehr gut to see you again.
[02.01.2016 22:45:01] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: *chuckles* At easy. I'm affraid there's no such thing as coincidence in space..
[02.01.2016 22:45:16] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Propaganda works only on the weak minded.
[02.01.2016 22:45:34] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The "truth" I was talking about? Few can see it. And you did.
[02.01.2016 22:46:25] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: The Widerstandsarmee is doing good at showing Rheinland's people what they're actually calling their government.
[02.01.2016 22:46:37] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: And...what they're going to face.
[02.01.2016 22:48:07] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: It is in their interest..
[02.01.2016 22:48:43] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Either way they are right.
[02.01.2016 22:49:02] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: We have an alliance with the Bundschuch
[02.01.2016 22:49:31] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: But you're probably still left with a puzzle you can't solve now are you?
[02.01.2016 22:49:41] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Allying with the Bundschuh Partei is the best thing you could've done, I think.
[02.01.2016 22:50:22] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Perhaps.. you should too..
[02.01.2016 22:51:46] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: It's a political organization.. I'm aware.. but for now their stance is the most humane.
[02.01.2016 22:51:51] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I've never shot at an Aktivist of the VWA. However they didn't ever shoot me. I'd call this "passive support".
[02.01.2016 22:52:43] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Ja, indeed. I've seen their transports full of food rations heading to Munich.
[02.01.2016 22:53:19] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The Order trusts them.
[02.01.2016 22:53:25] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: During the food shortage of Nuremberg, this probably saved a lot of lifes.
[02.01.2016 22:54:44] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Anyway, I'm able to stay within the Omicrons for a few days or weeks from now.
[02.01.2016 22:55:06] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: As said, I'm very interested in learning more about the Nomads.
[02.01.2016 22:55:23] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I see.. But you have to take care kruppstahl.. there's more threats than just Nomads around here.
[02.01.2016 22:55:53] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The Buro manages a slight presence in here and apart from that there's their friends.
[02.01.2016 22:55:58] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The Core.
[02.01.2016 22:56:30] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Luckily I've never seen a pilot of The Core yet.
[02.01.2016 22:56:30] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: The kind of people that would sell their own mothers for money.
[02.01.2016 22:57:07] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Sounds like slavery... Ehh, I know what you mean.
[02.01.2016 22:57:09] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: You're lucky then. It's quite similar to those scum of house criminals.
[02.01.2016 22:57:27] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Maybe.. but it's not that.
[02.01.2016 22:57:58] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: They've created a monopol out of the demand for Nomad Material...
[02.01.2016 22:58:10] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: The Order is saving their lifes by surpressing the Nomad threat. Why would they be your enemies?
[02.01.2016 22:58:20] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Oh, I see.
[02.01.2016 22:58:48] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: That's the only thing that unites us perhaps. A common enemy. But completely different views.
[02.01.2016 22:59:07] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: And their biggest costumer seems to be... well guess who.
[02.01.2016 22:59:09] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: What's the Buro's stance towards The Core?
[02.01.2016 23:00:41] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: They'd be some kind of opponents since both of them are interested in nomad material, wouldn't they?
[02.01.2016 23:01:11] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Oh hell.
[02.01.2016 23:01:23] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: seems to me liek the pests are here already.
[02.01.2016 23:01:29] Core|Monarch: An RFP in Omicron Delta? You're quite far away from home officer.
[02.01.2016 23:01:56] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Move now. Pull him out of the No Fire Zone.
[02.01.2016 23:02:05] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Ja, you might be right at this point.
[02.01.2016 23:02:07] Core|Monarch: What is your business here officer?
[02.01.2016 23:02:18] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: What do you care you scumbag!
[02.01.2016 23:02:33] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Go back to tying Nodtviet's panties!
[02.01.2016 23:02:50] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: That's none of your business. Who are you, even?
[02.01.2016 23:03:18] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I tell you who it is! A god sent angel to make your life hell.
[02.01.2016 23:03:32] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Same as those scummy house crimminals.
[02.01.2016 23:04:28] Core|Monarch: It's entirely my business, officer.
[02.01.2016 23:04:53] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Why don't you go to hell yourself!
[02.01.2016 23:05:06] Core|Monarch: First and foremost my concern is your safety. This region of space is not safe for an individual such as yourself.
[02.01.2016 23:05:34] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Nor do I make it safe for mister Nodtviet and Co here.
[02.01.2016 23:05:47] Core|Monarch: And if you interfere, I will simply find a means to kill you, Agent.
[02.01.2016 23:06:24] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: I'm not meant to be called an officer right now. This isn't part of my duty.
[02.01.2016 23:06:25] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: That's all you fools know.
[02.01.2016 23:06:30] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: This is rather...privately.
[02.01.2016 23:07:11] Core|Monarch: Are you taking a holiday trip to Omicron Delta or something of that sort then?
[02.01.2016 23:07:27] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Why don't you just go back to holding Nodtviet's hot dog like the others before you!
[02.01.2016 23:07:27] Core|Monarch: I warn you that this sytem is far from a good location for rest and relaxation
[02.01.2016 23:07:51] Core|Monarch: Perhaps you'd like to join your master, Golanski, Agent?
[02.01.2016 23:07:54] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: The people at Freeport 11 have been quite nice so far. Some of them, at least.
[02.01.2016 23:08:07] Core|Monarch: I'm sure he's hiding in a hole somewhere with the rest of the Primary Fleet. There's most likely room for you there too.
[02.01.2016 23:08:28] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Better having an Admiral than an owner.
[02.01.2016 23:09:13] Core|Monarch: Nodtviet is not an owner, he is simply a true leader. That cannot be said for your admiral however who is quick to-
[02.01.2016 23:09:33] Core|Monarch: -abandon his own men at the sight of danger.
[02.01.2016 23:09:42] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Ha! How big of a bone did Nodtviet give his dog for nice words!
[02.01.2016 23:09:51] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: A half?
[02.01.2016 23:10:08] Core|Monarch: Officer I suggest limiting yourself to Freeport for now then. Venturing further would prove most unwise.
[02.01.2016 23:10:20] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Where was The Core, the so called /protectors/, at the recent Nomad attack in Stuttgart?
[02.01.2016 23:10:25] Core|Monarch: Half a bone is still a much higher and more lucrative paycheck than your organization is willing to dish out, Agent.
[02.01.2016 23:10:29] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Do as he says. These guys ahve no sese of humor.
[02.01.2016 23:10:40] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: The Order has shown up, The Core didn't.
[02.01.2016 23:10:59] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: See? You're simply a hired gun. Money lust.
[02.01.2016 23:11:17] Core|Monarch: We cannot be everywhere at once I'm afraid Officer.
[02.01.2016 23:11:50] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I will retreat for now. You don't want them to raise any suspicions.
[02.01.2016 23:11:54] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: That are weak words for an organization calling themselves protectors.
[02.01.2016 23:12:13] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Keep in mind, whatever he tells you- Don't listen.
[02.01.2016 23:12:13] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Anyway, I better make my way back to that Freeport.
[02.01.2016 23:12:24] Core|Monarch: The Order prefers to spread their numbers thinly whilst we opt to concentrate our influence.
[02.01.2016 23:12:59] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: Don't listen to him. Whatever he says.
[02.01.2016 23:13:10] Core|Monarch: You have to understand that Stuttgart is a far cry away from the Nomad scourge.
[02.01.2016 23:13:13] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Both of these strategies have their advantages and disadvantages.
[02.01.2016 23:13:16] Core|Monarch: We operate on the frontline.
[02.01.2016 23:13:17] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I will have to disappear for a while to avoid bloodshed..
[02.01.2016 23:13:31] Core|Monarch: And we like to keep our presence consistent there.
[02.01.2016 23:13:35] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I will transmit you the codes to this ship's frequency.
[02.01.2016 23:13:58] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Verstanden. I'll get in touch with you once possible.
[02.01.2016 23:14:01] O'Rhu|CV-Avenger: Brake: I still owe you one.
[02.01.2016 23:14:31] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Anyway. This space is everything but safe. I'll be at the 11th Freeport.
[02.01.2016 23:14:40] Core|Monarch: We aim to push the Nomad threat straight back to the source, and then eliminate that source.
[02.01.2016 23:15:01] Core|Monarch: Admittedly there are moments when things can slip through. We worry that the Nomads may have discovered a means of-
[02.01.2016 23:15:20] Core|Monarch: -reaching the houses without being intercepted by Core forces en route.
[02.01.2016 23:15:44] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Ja, that would be terrible. The recent attack in Frankfurt was awful.
[02.01.2016 23:16:29] Core|Monarch: Mhm, most unfortunate.
[02.01.2016 23:17:18] Core|Monarch: Perhaps in the future we can begin to build a stronger influence within Rheinland itself.
[02.01.2016 23:17:18] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Right, I'll be on my way. Hopefully your organization pushes to that source you mentioned.
[02.01.2016 23:17:30] Core|Monarch: Thank you for your support. It is noted.
[02.01.2016 23:17:37] RFP|Det,W.Kruppstahl: Guten Flug!
[02.01.2016 23:17:46] Core|Monarch: Safe skies.

01/02/823 A.S. - Error - Omicron Delta
"I met a group of rheinlanders in the bar. They were freightened when I told them about the recent developments in Stuttgart. They identified as a group of scientists who settled in a nearby nebula here in the system. They adviced me that the Freeport is not a good place to stay for foreigners. They gave me the coordinates for their installation, because it would be hard to find on my own. They paid my bottle of Rheinbeer, which is outragously expensive out here."

"I'm currently sitting in my cockpit as the crew of this station is repairing my ship. I followed the coordinates I was given yesterday to visit the Rheinlanders. The nebula disabled my scanners and I could barely see anything in this thick fog. My ship got damaged when a wing of Core ships attack this installation. I was not their primary target, but my hull has taken some serious damage from the attack. I'm glad I was given docking rights in time, otherwise I would probably fry to death in the nebula right now. Anyway, I'm getting out of the ship now to see what all this is about.
A few hours pass without any entry until the ships security camera picks up movement. The screen shows Wolfram hastily entering the ship, with two guards in rheinland uniform following him. Wolfram attempts to shut the door behind him, but to no avail - the electronics of the ship must have been disabled. You can see the guards electrocuting and pulling him out of the ship, laying him down on a medical lounger. Heavily guarded, they leave the dock and a woman, probably one of a higher echelon, follows as the door shuts behind them.
