Tag: |LF| History of La Fraternité
The history of La Fraternité can be traced back to the appearance of a man named Emile Roux amongst the anti-Crown revolutionary forces around 820 A.S. It was during this time that he gained a reputation as an ideologue whose radical ideas which advocated for, among other things, a complete and acute abolition of the nobility by any means necessary. This gained him popularity with certain elements of the Council and Maquis, yet alienated him from the high command of the former. Though his beliefs were not terribly abnormal for a revolutionary, it was his zealotry and willingness to commit atrocities to accomplish his aims that ultimately led to his leaving the Council. A few individuals chose to follow him, and for some years, the small group of revolutionaries disappeared for some time.
Shortly after the occupation of Leeds by the Gallic Royal Navy, Roux reemerged in the Champagne system as the new owner of a worn-out l’Ane Brigand transport christened La Vie En Rose and a collection of Stellion fighters, all of which were obtained from a junkyard on Planet Marne. Using a large sum of Francs from an unspecified donor, he hired a loyal crew to help maintain the vessel and soon set off for Maquis installations. From there, he and a small group of like-minded freedom fighters began to strike against Gallic shipping and Royalist targets, shrugging off any civilian casualties or innocent obstacles in the way. Soon branded as Maquis terrorists by the Gallic government, La Fraternité du Serment du Jeu de Paume emerged from this motley collection of revolutionaries. Though small in number, the budding revolutionary organization grows in strength with each passing day as the fight against the Crown rages on.

Relevant Roleplay/Stories and Other Links -COMING SOON-
// This faction is going to be one that places a lot of emphasis on individual character development and RPs, and takes a lot of inspiration from RPG-style parties and tabletop roleplay. It will also attempt to conduct revolutionary roleplay in a manner that properly portrays how such a group would actually function, including heavy use of propaganda, ideological development, appropriate tactics, etc. We won't be having a recruitment thread, instead opting to have in-game interaction lead to an invitation to join La Fraternité. If you are interested in having a character, preexisting or newly created, join or participate in roleplay with us, feel free to PM this account or @Zephyranthes.
@Zephyranthes Don't get me wrong, but why are you creating a new faction, when the official faction you lead doesn't even have 7 hours on the clock this month? Just asking, because I wanna see some BD action again. Aside from this good luck
