Hello Raven.

About one week ago, I had an interesting encounter here at Freeport 11. I guess it's better to not share this story with the Core.
There was an AI Drone, designation "Dron" at the Freeport, peacefully observing, collecting data, analyzing the chat of others. For a while, we talked with it, until a nomad bomber, designation "Takkar" arrived and flew around in a weird way, not acting hostile. It communicated to us via telepathic speech. The whole crew was able to hear it, so I advised three of my duty officers to write down what it said. We we're able to re-create this situation in a holographic scene. I'll attach the entire thing onto this transmission.

Anyway, the interesting part is, that "Dron" was able to "hear" what that nomad said. That's the only AI ship I've seen so far that was able to do that. So, here, see yourself.

Hello Ezrael.

Good find. I suspect this drone may have some kind of experimental chip on board, or some kind of other specialised electrical interface, or perhaps they have organics embedded into them - also known as a cyborg.

Either way, this data should prove useful. I’ll be sure to ask them a few questions, if they’re willing. Be careful when you go prodding around for information, the Core might get a little suspicious, I don’t want you to get into trouble. Speaking of which, investigating it might be hard, now that both major parties in the Omicrons have me listed as ‘Kill on Sight’ - great times eh?

Apologies for the delay response, I had a surgery appointment. Getting infested with dysfunctional nanites isn’t nice.
