I can't disagree with what you type up there... well done and good luck if you decide to stay more.
Oh and by the way, don't mind some negative comments specially when it comes from players who got banned and bastilled several times
Just ignore the negativity and go forward. Enjoy your time.
Hello yes this is evil pvpwhore. Wanna see the other side of the coin?
Staged roleplay is disgusting. Previously-arranged-roleplay is disgusting. Talking about how you want to roleplay oorply with your friends in group is disgusting. Enclosed rp is disgusting.
PvP isn't stagged. PvP isn't pre arranged. PvP isn't oorp.
Now, that you suffer from carpal tunnel is a pity, really. You're missing the hands down best part of Freelancer. If you want to roleplay with your friends in your artificial environment, go to skype. If you want to roleplay with your inrp sworn enemies, go to skype. Sounds familiar? Because you know, if what you want is pure roleplay, you can do that literally anywhere.

Hello. Thanks for missing the point and overexaggerating. Exactly what I was expecting from you. That's the totally ignorant behavior I tried to avoid to deal with, so I will only respond to you once.

You're acting like I'm totally against PvP and am here for staged, pre-arranged roleplay. If you seriously got this impression, then let me tell you, it's not the truth. If you're just here to troll this, leave this thread. You've stated you're opinion, that's fine, I know what I have to do when I encounter you ingame then. You have a reputation and a stereotypical behavior in this forum that supports this reputation.
I play Discovery because it offers many options, that don't neccessarily need to exclude other features/options of the game. All I said earlier is, I try to avoid PvP, especially when it's just about the PvP-aspect or when people try to use a very immersion breaking, trolling or even ooRP harrassing behavior to initiate it. Best example are AI drones that use those kind of lines like
Do you think that's funny? Do you think this is how AIs in Discovery should behave? I have no problem with guys who do non-bullshitty RP lines to engage, and that's what I stated in my first posting. It would be nice if you're not trying to put my statements into extreme positions if you're really trying to discuss in this thread in a reasonable way. Trying to use my own words to state your weird impression about stereotypical newbie indi capital players ("If you want to roleplay with your inrp sworn enemies, go to skype") is just another attempt of a poor show here.
Like Antonio said earlier, we're here to have fun, and that goes for both sides and everyone involved, and you seem to be here just to troll people with your behavior.
I'll be bittervet now and give the new guy advice:
Learn to suck up the idiocy you encounter without letting it get to you. You will encounter plenty.
Learn to report idiocy successfully and efficiently and in a way that closes the case of idiocy that happened for you. Do it often.
Try to have 1 good/fun interaction for yourself when playing.
Try to offer 1 good/fun interaction to someone else when playing.
And, don't even try to discuss reasonably on the forums.
Never try to discuss idiocy on Teamspeak.
It's a lost cause.
Always glad to see people adapt well to Disco after a short time. From what you described in your experience - that's pretty much disco for you. From what I've seen (ingame and on the forums) your RP is pretty high quality and you're actually trying to adapt. As you said if you do have problems you just have to ask the right people.
About PvP, well it's part of the game, but not what the game is all about. That being said being good at PvP certainly helps if you are going for a certain type of character inRP.
Oh well. See you in space.
P.S. Be careful where you fly with that Mako of yours. You might just get harvested *wink*
That's maybe the best feedback i've ever seen from a new player at Discovery. Big Kudos. Disco needs more new players with an attitude like yours. Keep it up.

And yet you are still the one who is not able to discuss something without a good portion of Q_Q or your so called bitterness in everything you write here. It's not really fun to discuss with someone with this attitude. Not at all if you ask me. You are just a big idiocy magnet because of this. And everyone else will be when they Q_Q too much. That's how the internet works. You just have to find the good guys. You can't satisfy everyone anyways. Just don't Q_Q too much and just ignore the idiots. Can't be difficult, especially when you are mature enough.

Anyway what is "Awehot" ?
I don't intend to leave Discovery, just the Core faction since it requires me to be active on Skype and I'm not sure if I want to be there with some of those Shooterkingmaster99HD_MLGPRO guys around there, spilling their ooRP hate in plenty around there (Lyth asked me to rephrase this sentence: The problem is not about the core itself, it's about the individuals I get in touch via Skype. Just for you to know, this is not a problem with the faction itself. ). Writing this feedback thread and stating my opinion already brought me a fair amount of insults from some guys via Skype. Well, brought to me by third party. You know how things work on Skype. I just don't want to be forced to use it for a thing that simply decreases my game experience. Forum is already enough contact to the people behind their characters.
But when I decided to post this thread, I already knew some guys wouldn't share my point of view and some of those would be really pissed about reading it. That's why I appreciate the good formulated posts of Antonio and Omicega. I understand their points, and I respect it, and again I'm saying I will be the last person to not allow/offer a fair battle. On the other hand, I expect a bit more than people entering hostile space, heading with a snub/mixed fleet to a mixed including at least one capital and saying "Ha, you can't do anything, because we're snubs and you just have to watch your friends die!". This is not how fun on both sides work. As said, if you're the snubs, you can decide where the battle takes place. In fact, the aggressor can make sure that everyone has a fair fight by setting the rules. Because, and that's what I experienced more often than a fair fight scenario, people of my battle group get mad at me when I'm not supporting them. And if I do, the other party gets mad. So one side expects me to interfere and the other side doesn't. Which side do I choose then? My buddies or the enemy, who maybe will change his mind and attack me when my snubs are gone?
Also, while I understand Antonio's opinion about "skill determines a fair fight", I don't agree with that. It's not only the skill, but the loadout/ship, the system you're playing in (open space, nebulae, asteroid fields) and who's around.
Also, awehot is a term for something that's not only awesome but hot.
Anyway, please don't use this thread further more to be a dick to other people, be it sarcasm or honest. I wish to communicate with you guys in a reasonable way, and I hope, you guys manage to do that with other people posting here, too.
Also, I see there is plenty of reasons for someone to don't like the other one, but it doesn't need to insult the shit out of someone to state dislikes.
