You enter your local Detroit Munitions branch headquarters wearing your best business outfit, and look around. The building is well-maintained, and office workers are occasionally buzzing from one hallway or room to another. Masterfully-detailed paintings of various sorts of weaponry are seen hanging on the walls, ranging from ancient cannons and pikes to modern, widely-renowned Detroit Munitions products.
You approach the front desk, stating that you are looking for a job and you wish to apply to the company. The woman behind the desk smiles and asks if you have your CV ready. Regardless of your answer, she hands you a paper form to complete and asks you to attach any relevant documents that would help the company decide in your favor. You are pointed to a nearby table, where you can take your time filling out the form. After sitting down, you start looking over it and begin writing.

OOC: So, as you can see, Detroit Munitions is actively looking for new members to fly with. The application process is pretty simple - you fill out this in-character form and, if we're satisfied, we'll do a short in-roleplay interview on Discord. After that we'll discuss, OOCly, some of the finer points of Detroit's roleplay and you'll be good to go. While this all might sound kind of "much" for a trading faction, Detroit Munitions isn't aspiring to be "just another trade faction" - indeed, if your goal is powertrading and getting that cap8 bustard with a jump drive and docking modules as soon as possible, you probably want Interspace Commerce or OSI. That's not a dig at those factions, but rather an acknowledgment that they've got access to some of the best routes in the game.
Detroit's big goal as a faction is to bring out the mundane, and to acknowledge that not everyone leads an amazingly exciting life, that Sirius is made up of billions of people who just lead average, everyday lives and that there's a story worth telling behind each and every one. Of course, that's not to say that we don't want interesting or unique characters, either; nobody likes to roleplay with personalityless drones. Detroit wants to set an example for newer players, as well, who make up a huge part of the population of Liberty. Finally, we want to do our best to represent both the lawful and the shady side of corporate arms dealing. As a megacorporation, you can be assured that Detroit didn't achieve its position of prominence without an under-the-table deal or two. That being said, Detroit is still primarily a law-abiding, patriotic company.

For six generations everyone in my family's been born and raised on Leeds. My kids won't be. I'm a Bretonian citizen, but recent events involving the Gauls means that I've been granted an automatic refugee work visa to Liberty. Pending of course, employment.

Shipment Reliability - In the six years I worked at Bowex, not a single shipment assigned my way was stolen, went missing, or otherwise didnt make its intended destination. Though they were often subjected to occasional delays when transversing through warzones or the border worlds, and the cargo (along with the ship) was dinged every now and again, all my goods always made it where they needed to be. On top of that, I never once had to dip into the company's extortion insurance. When you're helping a war effort move along, you find a way to get things done without compromise.
Self Defence - Alongside the corporate Shire I piloted, through the Bowex Clydesdale Brigade Initiative, members of the company could come to own their own Clydesdale free of charge through sort of a corporate enlistment process. For two years of my tenure at Bowex, I was a Clydesdale Brigadier involved in both corporate pro-active self defence, and frequent warzone engagements. The Clydesdale wasn't meant to be a warship, but I've got enough experience to make it one.

I was lucky enough to be laid off after a shipment to one of Sprague's colonies rather than, well, anywhere else in Bretonia. I thank god and whoever else that I'm not stuck planet side on that hell hole, but I've been stuck here ever since. You've got my permission to contact anyone at Bowex, but I haven't been able to contact my division manager for nearly a year. I hope you have more success than I had.
