Ladies and Gentlemen of the Armed Forces,

My name is Kadego Sudrossa, captain of The Shovel and Freelancer by trade. I hope this message finds you well in an otherwise very perilous time for The Kingdom. Your sacrifice and bravery in fighting back the Gallic invasion is being talked about on every Freeport I have visited through my journeys. Thank you for your service.

The topic of this communication is quite important for me personally, as you will see below. I have recently met two Armed Forces officers (very polite, I might add) in the Omega-3 system, at the Zoner Freeport. As I understand, my ship is causing quite a bit of suspicion (and rightfully so) - it is a custom-built marvel, with strong resemblance of an Outcast Destroyer, but of entirely different purpose and classification.

Its chassis and power output is close (but not quite) to a destroyer vessel, that is true. But it is by no means a capital ship - it lacks the sophistication to be classified as such. There is only one crew member and pilot - that is, myself. There is no command center, no science lab onboard, no docking ports or other highly advanced systems normally found on capital vessels.

The commanding officer of the BAF|HMS-Sovereign, whom I met near the Freeport, strongly advised that I submit an official request to the Bretonian Authorities, to hopefully authorize my presence within its zone of influence, as a Freelancer who greatly supports the Bretonian cause of holding the Gallic invasion for the preservation of everyone's freedom.

My stance toward the Gallic threat is very clear - I will never stand for a nation that spreads war and violence, only because some King's greedy ambitions towards the whole of Sirius. In a time like this, I would like to express my full support of the Bretonian courage that to this day holds firm against such overwhelming odds. I have personally fought for my life against the Gallic Royal Navy patrols in the Tau region and opted to help out a BAF Gunboat patrol, which was under overwhelming odds with the enemy. The boys and I were able to win that fight, because we stood as one.

If I am granted flight permission through Bretonian space, I would like to contribute to the defense initiative against Gallic incursion by delivering vital supplies to various stations in need, with my transport. As for the other ship - "The Shovel", I am offering my assistance in case of Gallic incursion attempts upon your request. I would like to help in whatever manner possible, to keep the crucial borders around New London from getting overwhelmed.

Admiral Hall,

I am delighted to have the opportunity to speak to you again!
I would like to brief you on what happened in the Tau-31 system yesterday, the 12-th of July 823.

After my pit stop visit on Freeport 6 in the Tau-29 system, I commenced my voyage further down south, en route to the Omega-3 system, where we met.
My exact travel path was as follows: Tau 29 -> Tau-31 -> Dundee -> Edinburgh -> Dublin -> Omega-49 (with another pit stop at Lanzarote Station) -> Cayman -> Omega-47 -> Omega-9 -> Omega-3.

This flight path was chosen deliberately, so I may refresh my navmap data on the most recent jumphole locations, which are known to drift annually.
I had prior intel on the war situation in the Tau-31 system, so I avoided the trade lanes and headed straight toward Planet Harris, where I expected to be far away from any ongoing skirmishes. However, little did I know that the Gallic Royal Navy had stationed a heavy Battleship, identifying itself as Dax, dangerously close to the planet and laying siege to the remaining BAF forces, who still defend the Planetform operations on Harris.

I arrived just in time, as a very gruesome fight was going on there - the boys from the Harris defense forces tried to make a bombing run on Battleship Dax, but unfortunately pure bravery was not enough to crack the hull of this monstrous gallic craft.
Both the Templar fighter escorts of this gunboat were destroyed by a thick volley of Battle Razors and the Zapper Turret array. I immediately rushed forward and opened fire on the Battleship, wanting to draw attention to myself and hopefully give the Churchill some precious time to retreat.

It was a success and I got some new holes on my armor plating while scrambling for my own escape. The gunboat was very damaged, but it did in fact reach the Planet in one piece. I hope the crew all survived this... that cannot be said for the two escorts, who were destroyed.

As I reached the Dundee system, I witnessed the might of the Gallic Naval Fleet - there were no less than three Battleships, accompanied by gunboats, swarms of Lynx fighters and supply ships, all stationed inside the Kinross asteroid field. I could not take pictures of this sight - I was absolutely horrified and had to turn around quickly before they could intercept.
I immediately jumped back to Tau-31 and headed for the Edinburgh jump hole... the rest is history and I made it to Omega-3, very tired and worried.

Admiral, let me say this - I have the utmost respect for you and your troopers. Gallia is a war machine that has proven its abilities to produce endless squadrons of technologically advanced ships, which are already knocking on the door of the house of Liberty as well.
In times like this, we should unite and stand together - Freelancers, Armed Forces, other lawful organizations... because we, the people, are responsible for our future and freedom!

All I ask for is for permission to fly as a civilian across Bretonia, abiding by the laws as everyone else. There is one famous Edison Trent, who inspires me that everything is possible with the right attitude.
