Coming here awoke what are nothing less than lost memories, emotions forgotten over the recent years giving her the afflicted push towards what the body enduring compression by gravitational force must feel like. Leaving her Sabre at bay six, Gabriella is immediately accompanied by two her soldiers. Her eyes bland still hidden by the visor, her look piercing through the walls visualizing the infinity that lies beyond, her steps stoic, monotonic. And yet military oderly. One deck lower await the halls designated Nacions destiny her arrival. Taking her time, hovering the fingers still covered in armour over the walls, closing her eyes to open her mind, to conceive the convention ahead of her, to take in the understanding of unforgetfulness once more.
...Unforgetfulness...
This were her words. Her beliefs. Her act.
Gabriella finally reaches the lock that gives way to the halls of the Abyss. That legendary place once known for its holding the value of providing every Maltese and guests to Nacion a spot apart law and enforcements, aside the common social structures and off the cultural restrictions Nacion puts upon people.
Her place. Angelas world.
Kelly, standing guard inside, is given a brief nod signaling her to clear the stations level of Ghost soldiers and reposition them at the entrances to the deck, sealing off the Abyss. Gabriellas movement now opened up, the steps solid but without her regular symmetric sonority as she takes off her helmet, leaving it on the counter and closing in on the stasis-field that separates the Abyss from the outside void. She turns her view over the interior, her mind sets pictures together of what this place once used to be like. Dark, repetitive sounds accompanied by stroboscopic effects, dancing, cliques gathering around at the edges, conversations. Company was found here, deals were made.
She takes off her armoured gloves, putting them on the several meters long low table that stands infront the windows stasis-field, just to turn once again, covered in the dark, the shadows the diffuse light provides, and has her thoughts drift away.
Enma have arrived few minutes ago. Just a traditional fix of her hairstyle after the mess made by helmet and she was almost ready. She was hearing some stories about the Abyss, but nothing worthwhile left in her mind. Loyola was not the fan of public places like this, but at some point it was interesting. Now, she was only waiting for her Kusarian companion arrival at hangar. Coming lonely on such meetings was not in her rules and would be just sad. But knowing Casta sisters she was already expecting extra guard and possible unnecessary excesses.
It didn't take long for Kaia's ship to dock with Ibiza station. Although she lived on Malta for a very long time, she hadn't ever visited it. Her Rapier landed gently in the hangar bay. Kaia sat for a moment in the cockpit, taking a moment to breathe. She left her vehicle and quickly sensed a familiar presence nearby: Enma.
Kaia walked over to her partner and superior. "Miss Loyola," she said, bowing her head lightly. "I've arrived as you have requested."
"Hola." Enma said and smiled to Kusarian. "Good, it would be damn boring to come alone. In addition to this you have to learn." Loyola took Kaia by the head as teh forwarded to the 'Abyss' itself. Enma have opened the door in a front of Kaia, letting her in first.
Loyola headed towards Gabriellas table. "We are late, I hope you had something to entertain yourself."
Razgriz' soldiers, in their regular combat armour, equipped with assault rifles one wouldn't want to get fired inside a station surrounded by the universe's void due to their plasma-infused hull-breaking munition, stood guard for the arrival of the scheduled visitor. When Enma didn't come alone, the Ghosts shot a communication updating Kelly on the new situation. During their walk through the hallways, passing several excessively secured airlocks, they could witness the effort with which the Ghosts occupied the following decks, until they finally reached the elevator that'd descend down to the Abyss. A squad of hundred or more had to be stationed here, powered with gear to stop a heavily armed attack against a fortified position. The soldiers sent to bring them in turned at the elevators opening doors that revealed Kelly inside already waiting for them.
A diffuse light illuminates the deck, the walls are abrasive, uneven and reflect the nearly not existant shining into a scattered brilliance. Kelly disappeared into the broken shadows. As the two approached the table Gabriella had taken place for now, and right after Enma spoke her greeting words, the screens on the side of the Lounge turned on, showing the lower floors, revealing to those that'd usually spend their time up here the events happening surrounded by deep, pressing, monotonous bassline. And with that, a dead sound reached up.
Emmeleia. You know interest never leaves the place with my sister around.
She points at the monitors and then a bit further to her side to call their attention to the individual sitting at the far edge of the table, at the one corner the screens didn't light up when the transmission started.
You won't mind Carolina.
However, welcome to the Abyss. First visit from what the logs recall. You should've came when Nacion actually gathered here, maybe we'll see those days again. Don't break thoughts on Esta around, she's in trance mode and for once eventually not wanting your head on a plate, a rare occasion. You really made yourself an enemy in her.
You'll have to get the drinks on your own, but tell me... who's your company?
Kaia walked up to the table with Enma. The place felt different from other places she knew and had visited. Before her now was a new face, but one she had heard of before.
"I am Kaia, past operative of the Crimson Cross. Now... I'm Enma's partner in action."
