As per the fight... i hope there is no hard feelings, its not wise to attack a Geb and expecting to Live... Till next time.

Hey guys, just a thought - perhaps you may want to disregard the "Discovery Cardamine Connection" that was simply created by (not bad) people with Outcasts as their main faction and wanted to have Nomads as a side project (both their factions allied or neutral to each other). Thus, digging deeply enough, you may realize that Discovery's Cardamine flavor came entirely out of a few people's self-convenience and has no ground in the original Freelancer lore. Sure Sci-Fi is what it is, and you could keep it, but the important advice is this:
Do not chain your faction to the past. Take the long route and learn more than everyone else learned. Do it right when it's your turn. Be original and creative!
Not that anything you wrote called for advice, but I think it will serve you well. Best of luck.
Have fun!
I do understand what do you mean, at some point I would like to dissociate Outcasts from the Nomads to a degree. But there is too many RP built on Cardamine being related to the Nomads and it's nerly impossible to retcon.
This idea looks great for me. The lore, roleplay, even different nomspeak... Seems to be more intertaining, to be honest. As the ex-member of K'Hara, I'm looking forward to have a lot of pleasurable experience with you folks. Too bad I can't play with you at the moment, but you're doing well for now. Keep it up!

You know, I actually recall a fanfiction story, about freelancer, a very long one...some 200K words or so, that treated Cardamine uniquely. Cardamine was the only way to prevent and reverse Nomad infection, but held with it the risk of severe addiction. In the fic, the order issued each agent with an emergency injector of it, as Nomads could and would not go near Cardamine

If you look carefully, you can see the Nomads both dropping an engagement message and actually SNACing the Geb before it returns fire. Any snub player worth his/her salt knows to stay frosty when there's a battle about to start.
I actually heard about the instakill beforehand in much less honeyed tones, and from the video it's really entirely kosher. If your group aggresses first and you wind up dead due to your own inattentiveness, it's nobody's fault but your own.

i was expecting to catch flak for killing him... but when the snac came in and i remembered i told them to back off before hand i knew i had to defend my ship... i gave them ample time to back off... but they chose there own fate.
Well, both of you jumped to conclusions While my reaction might be interepreted several ways, what I meant was that I never saw instakill right from in the start of a fight in Disco before... and I never saw snub sized craft to sit idly around cap making himself target Nothing against you really, they engaged, you even got hit by whatever it was (TORP/SNAC) first. I saw no problems RP wise in there both on your and their side.
