“If they have issues with men under my command, they better take it up with me. Don’t they dare to issue strategical orders to them without my consent. Oh, that’s also Colonel Valkyrie to them.”
The disagreements in chain of command was so far the only issue that Bundschuh’s Geyer joint strike force initiative has encountered. The Order officers were not necessarily happy concerning their assignment under those who had not earned their stripes in the fleet. One of such malcontents was the Colonel, technically equal in rank to commander in chief of Widerstand itself. Handpicking her as Order liason to Rheinland was thought to be a mistake by the other representatives of Order Overwatch. There was also a special case to be handled, something far more in the interest of the Colonel. As soon they had left the Omicrons, she received classified data concerning her true objective. Package of encrypted intelligence provided among other things a dossier, with laconic set of instructions to interpret. Few words were needed to convey what had to be done.

She had more than enough time to study the files. The Osiris would not bring her directly to Tanusfeld but deployed squadron of choice with Valkyrie in command to rendezvous with their rebel hosts. Many of those pilots would fly alongside their counterparts in VWA, however there was still noticeable shadow of doubt among those who were introduced into the conspiracy. Reaction of their rogue operative could not be predicted, for she was given the best teachers in Sirius… life and The Order.
Deck 2, Oberst's office, Bruchsal Base, Frankfurt System

"You're kidding me, right? Valkyrie? On Bruchsal? And I just now hear about this?"Nika's voice was raised, angry. She couldn't believe how insult added up to injury. Her recent visit to the Sigmas had shown that the Squadron she had created wasn't nearly as successful as she had hoped it to be, and yesterday's victory over the Unioners had only worried her more that the situation was about to worsen again. Now she had proof. The Order, not only on station, but the Admiral's sister herself. There was only two reasons why she could be here, and both options made her stomach rebel. She fixated the poor Aktivist who had give her the missive about the Colonel arriving stationside a minute ago, about a day and a minute too late for her liking. She really would have to work on her network of informants if she was to become elected - provided that she'd survive the meeting with the Colonel, of course.
She walked through the station's floors quickly, dodging people and obstacles alike. Nika spent far too much time in this godforsaken rock full of constant whispering behind her back and in front of her face, although the latter had finally begun to subside when she'd gotten rid of Fuchs' influence a month ago, and the lack of the former worried her even more. She intercepted the Colonel about a minute before the Order agent could reach the lift that would lead her to her quarters - even if she had been informed too late, she still made a - hopefully successful - effort to look well-informed and prepared. "You don't mind me showing to your quarters, Colonel, do you?", she offered, talking to the woman from behind, getting the greeting over with using a simple nod."I'm aware the station isn't as large as Akabat's bases, but it still can get quite confusing at times."Her voice was kind, but it also had a questioning tone. This was her turf, and the Order showing up here without a warning angered her significantly. If this meeting had taken place somewhere neutral, she would have probably reacted a bit more careful and possibly even frightened, after all since about two months she finally had something to lose, even more so since... The news, but with the other woman showing up at what came closest to home woke her territorial instincts. And she would defend her territory, with claws and teeth, if necessary.
