I am glad that you think so high of our ISE. We are reforming that wing and with all the troubles , the captains put a little over time.
Now , speaking about the scientist teams. We will deploy 10 scientists and lab technicians which will also be reviewed by two of our Seniors : Rio Umeda and Richard Dean. This two do not require any accommodation as they will arrive on 53rd ships which acts like mobile laboratories with also living space. A nice innovation that the Republic used since we arrived in Sirius.
As for the other ten scientists , they will remain aboard your station. I will send you know their names for security check and clearance :
-Dr. Jacob Garres - Botanist -Dr. Phyllis Keating - Agronomist -Dr. Mary Bartow - Microbiologist -Dr. Joseph Blake - Geneticist -Dr. Allen Mitchell - Herbalist -Lab. Tech. Riley Norris - Lab Technician -Lab. Tech. Kimberly Owens - Lab Technician -Lab. Tech. Salvatore Brady - Lab Technician -Lab. Tech. Samantha Williams - Lab Technician -Lab. Tech. Robert Martin - Lab Technician
If you require , I think that CIS can provide you with Enhanced Security Disclosure Certificates for each and everyone of them.
They will arrive tomorrow evening to your station in a 53rd ship to settle . The information we gather until now and the plant sample will be delivered in two stages . Final delivery will be done in 3 days from now.

Dear Mr Kase,
I'm glad to inform you that your people passed security clearance upon arrival and were welcomed and accommodated with a small party. The lab construction is being finished and our teams will start working in a few days. It will take a while to reproduce the last attempt into it, so I expect first results with the samples you provide in 3-4 weeks from now. Then we can think about field tests.
I will keep this channel open in case of updates from either sides.
Yours sincerely Jack Worth

I am sorry to disturb your busy schedule but I was curious to see if we can receive a preliminary report about the work on Cantenbury and also , if any more materials are needed .

Ryo,
Mr. Worth asked me to reply to you since I have full information about our progress. So far, we restored information about the last series of experiments on AntiGro proof of concept for Yuma vegetation and started experimentation on samples that you kindly provided.
As you might know, the FloraGro is based on plant hormones, specifically, abscisic acid (ABA), auxins and cytokinins. These are hormones of Sol-originated plants. Yuma vegetation is native to the planet and has its own unique set of hormones. However, principle assumed to be the same.
The same hormones that stimulate growth in excessive concentrations break the hormonal balance and effectively kill a plant. This approach, if used wisely, doesn't leave lasting effect in soil. It also equally affects all kinds of plants of Yuma ecosystem.
Now, this is a question of finding actually what makes the plants grow to make them eventually die. This is not a quick process, even given that we have information from the last attempt. At this point, we just started experimentations with samples that you provided to identify the hormones that we can use. Thanks to data banks, we have a list that we could start with. The next step will be to test every one of them and all possible combinations in different concentrations for the effect they have on the vegetation.
I expect this to take about a month at the very least, even though thanks to good lab equipment we can run many tests in parallel. We will need continuous supply of certain materials and samples as well. I will ask Mr. Worth to provide you with exact list.

Dear Mr Kase,
As I understand, Dr. Brooks came up with a list of materials that needs to be delivered to Canterbury Station this week to provide the science team for the next stage of experimentation. Please, let me know if some of these materials could be hauled by the 53rd ships.
It is good to hear from you. Our Republic would be more then happy to send this resources , however , i am afraid that a waiting time may be required, as at the moment our ISE units are delivering materials for our building effort on Yuma and our 53rd is currently surveying some deposits of ore. The waiting time may be 2 standard days until we can start the shipment.
I want to inform you that the Republic have fulfill the request for materials. We have managed to dispatch 2 ISE units to you and the 53rd Galileo is approaching your station with a new batch of information and test subjects.
If there is anything that we can do to speed this project up , please contact us.

Ryo,
First of all, I wanted to thank you for prompt delivery on my little order. It will help us to keep up with our plans for the next few weeks.
Now, I have two news for you. One is good, another is... very, very bad, so to speak. Where do I start? Alright, let's start with good one.
It seems that we identified a phytohormone group that is a good candidate to be a foundation of our AntiGro solution. We named the group Kimberlins, and I will explain why in no time. Applied to subjects provided to us, it causes uncontrollable growth in as low concentration as 10 mg/kg, and eventually kills the plant when concentration reaches 15 mg/kg. This is a good starting point. We still need to understand which other components the solution will include.
However, this discovery came at a price, and I would say, a highest one possible. But let me explain what happened in details.
Once we identified the group of hormones with desired effects in-vitro, we moved on to work with them in-vivo, on test subjects. Team of three people was working on it: myself, Dr. Blake and Miss Kimberly Owens. Long story short, we applied the hormone to a sample, and at 15 mg/kg, as I said, it caused explosive growth. It was late in the night two days ago when it happened. Me and Dr. Blake already left the room where experiment was conducted, and Ms. Owens overstayed to complete some additional tests.
At some point, the overgrown plant burst out, releasing enormous amounts of pollen which caused poor Ms. Owens to suffocate despite wearing protective mask. Looks like its filters where totally blocked by the pollen mass. The plant itself didn't last much longer and also died, crushed by the weight of its own sprouts.
Body of Ms. Owens is now in our med block, waiting for evacuation. I'm devastated by this tragedy and I offer my deepest condolences to you and to the family of Ms. Owens. The least we could do is to name the result of our discovery in her honor.
We continue our research in hope to commemorate our late colleague. Despite this tragic incident, the program goes by the plan. I expect that we could begin field tests in three-four weeks.
I am sorry to hear the recent loss that your organization received during this experiment and I for one agree that we should comemorate her by giving her name to this project.
I am also sorry for responding so late but i was planet side on Yuma where we discover something interesting in one of the caves of the southern continent and that is an entire biosphere sealed inside the caves.
The caves are composed of silicate compound with big crystals and somehow , there is no signal and the electronic equipment is failing, is almost like the whole place is bombarded with huge EMP pulses. Our teams have collected soil samples and they are currently analyzing the mineral compound. However , what is more strange is that around the crystaline formations , the growth rate of the plants increased. The growth factor was times 15 then the one on the surface.
Which brings the next questions : Is the same formation underneath the whole planet surface ? And also , why the increased growth rate ?
We will compile a report in a few days about and will send a 53rd ship with the data to you.
If there is anything that we can do to speed this project up , please contact us.
