Well, The Corsair Empire has turned down our request for help, and since I'm skeptical of how much our other friends and allies will be willing to help us, due to the... legality of the ship in question, it might be quite hard to find someone willing to help us. However, in one of my trips recently, I came across this Junker Base called Invergordon Space Port, that looked like it might be able to handle a vessel of the size of our cruiser. There is an entrance to the system from Cortez, so it's not too hard to reach either. However, I'm don't think we have many relations with the Junkers as of yet, which while not ideal, can easily be remidied and is better than having a bad reputation.

And while we were helping the BMF Miners haul gold, I asked about what they can fabricate, trying to hint towards capital ship armaments, however they mostly mentioned other, more... exotic equipment. Cloaks, jumpdrives, hyper-matrix scanners, so it may work out well to pay them a call after this is all sorted and see if we can work out a deal.

And of course, if any of you have other suggestions, it would be good to hear them so we can make the best and most informed decision we can.

Hoping to hear from you soon,
Stay safe out there

Ps. We also need a name for the cruiser, any suggestions on that?

Good day Gentleman

You seem to already have a good plan laid out mister Martin. Trying to contact the junker is well though and may work. It's true we haven't any contact with them before, but that's also a good thing... It means we have never done anything to piss them off. I agree with the decision to contact the junkers, However, I think that we could just simply hire their services, instead of parking the cruiser in their base.

My suggestion would be to use Poena Outpost in Kepler to park the cruiser and secretly work on it there. Poena Outpost is a very low profile base, very well hidden and away from long range scanners. It will be easy to operate there without having to worry too much about outside interference, and most importantly, we would have full control of what is happening regarding the cruiser, and not be at the mercy of the junkers' good faith.

Let me know what you think.

Wallace, signing off.

Working out of Poena does sounds good, as it would help cement the base as a facility we work out of, however its ability to service a cruiser vessel is what I'm skeptical about. And we might not have to work with the Junkers after all, it seems one of our Engineers took the initiative to have a talk with the Crayterians about using their Sabbath Shipyard. Their talk with an Admiral seemed to go well enough, but we would need to discuss the matter fully with their Government. I've got a good feeling about this idea, so I will start on drafting up a message to their Government now.

Till next time,
Stay safe out there
